My first and most important reason for loving Hotel Sao Luis was its excellent cleaning. There was a good smell to the bed linen and it was super clean. I liked breakfast also. Various food items were provided, and the quality and quantity of the food were good. They refilled things so that those who arrived late also had everything they needed. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. The Hotel Sao Luis has parking, so it is an excellent choice for those traveling by car. I loved our stay there and I recommend them.

The hotel is in located in small streets near the city center (10min walking). It is a conventional old school hotel of what you would call a 3* hotel. The staff is very polite. The rooms are small but very clean. The beds are 5/10 on a comfortable scale. There is a small buffet breakfast that is wasn't that much diverse but is adequate to the hotel price. For me it was enough.

There is nothing I didnt like. The conditions matched the price and the hotel price. It is hard to park for free around. The hotel is located on a hilly region. The surrounding are not specially pretty and there is no view for the city center.

The room was perfect. I requested 2 single beds as I was travelling with my son, and this is what we got. The view from the roof top was amazing. The hotel is centrally located in Leiria and easy to get to everything we wanted. The staff were all very friendly and we were able to leave our bags with them before and after check in/out so we could explore the town at our ease. The breakfast was a lovely continental spread, all very tasty and fresh.

Picture of the room showed a power shower but our room had a bath and overhead shower. Wasn't a big issue for us but suggest others might request it if it's what they definitely wanted.

My door was not working on the first day, so they had to switch rooms. I would have preferred to stay where I was, but the front clerk did everything possible to accommodate me. I was pleased.

The hotel's location was very good. The room was spacious and clean (and was kept clean throughout our stay). The reception staff was very friendly helping us with all the information we needed.

The breakfast was good, but there is room for improvement; perhaps some vegetables to accompany the omelet or ham wouldn't hurt.

Second time we've stayed, and will certainly stay again. Location is walking distance from the town, in a residential area. Although off street parking is not necessary, it's a useful bonus and we appreciated being able to leave the car there for the duration of our stay. Room was large enough for our needs with a small balcony. We booked a family room and appreciated that the third bed was a proper bed. You can get up onto the roof, where there's a fantastic view of the castle. Helpful and welcoming reception staff with excellent English (unnecessary for us, but perhaps helpful for some visitors)

The orange juice and coffee at breakfast leave a lot to be desired and the layout of the breakfast buffet caused lots of hold ups when it was busy because the hot food, toaster and coffee machine were next to each other stuck in a corner. Decent coffee is available from the bar if you ask the breakfast staff, but you wouldn't know that unless you follow another guest's lead.

It was a short walk to the bus station, restaurants, and even Leiria Castle! Breakfast was included, and the front desk attendant made us a cup of hot tea one rainy afternoon. They even made us a sandwich for our bus ride back to Lisbon. We had a lovely balcony and there is a rooftop terrace with a 360 degree view! The staff gave great recommendations for historical sites and restaurants to visit.

There was a mini bar bar in the dining room that was not fully staffed nor basically stocked. We wish we’d had more access to snacks.

The location is very good. Excelent bed and sheets! The cleaness was perfect. Great room with great city view. The staff is very profissional and helpful. I asked for a late checkout and my request was promptly satisfied.

We liked everything. Spacious room. Great location, only 6 minute walk to city centre. Lift to all accommodation floors, with one flight of stairs to roof terrace with good view. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast included. Off street parking adjacent to Hotel with boom gate was free. Wi-Fi good.
