Location was fabulous!! The view and the terrace were beautiful!! The staff was very friendly.

The air conditioning was being replaced so 2 of the 3 floors didn’t have air conditioning. We weren’t told about this and found out when I tried to put it on. My friends bathroom had a nasty odor and the toilet was basically under the sink. Pillows could be updated with higher quality pillows.

The breakfast is not worth the money... every day the same, and the choice is small, the quality of the food is poor, the only praise for the squeezed orange juice. Armchairs and wardrobes are a bit old.

Good location for exploring Lisbon with fabulous views and a great breakfast.The ladies providing breakfast were very helpful and kind.

We were cold at night but found blankets in the wardrobe.No plug in the bath,shower basic and attachment on the wall loose.No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom.

They have a million dollar view. I am not exaggerating. People pay for tuk tuk tours to see the view next to it but the hotel has even a better one. Another thing I liked was the staff and cleanliness. Very very clean.

I don’t think some tourists would like the decor and the fact that you have to leave your key at the hotel every time you step out. I was ok with it but kept thinking about many of my friends who would not like that. It’s for safety purposes. Either way, having that view and knowing how clean the place was made me feel at ease.

Very pleasant stay. The selling point for me was the view, it's gorgeous, and we got the room with the balcony over the view, so that was a plus. The room is very clean, towels always changed, bed was very comfy. All equipements present in the room. Staff was there 24/7. And you can leave your bags there at the reception if you have an early or late flight. Location is ideal, near a mirador, and it's close to public transport.

The pillow was very thin, and only two outlets to charge your phone in the room, the third outlet is for tv. Take note that they ask you to pay the whole stay when you first check-in. I didn't know this detail before coming.

Great view and great room! Very spacious and clean. The hotel is at the top of the city's highest hill but that's the Lisbon experience. The location is great and very close to the main attractions - a short Uber ride takes you everywhere.

This is me being very picky but the check in is strictly at 3pm. I had an early flight and I asked them if I could check in before and they said they will see. When I got there at 11.30am - they said it needed to be at 3pm on the dot. I left my suitcase there and came back around 2pm where I still had to wait until 3pm for the room. I knew the check in was at 3pm but I just hoped for a bit of flexibility.

The hotel has an old fashioned vibe which is nice. It's located on the top of the hill, and I had a room with the view over the city and river. The room was spacious, well furnished and clean. There's a subway station in 10 min walk and a team stop in 5 min walk from the hotel.

The breakfast was rather modest. It lacked any hot meal option, e.g. omelet or else, which were offered for extra price despite the fact I have already paid for the breakfast. Also I've noticed that staff entered the room when I was out for a day once. I was confused by this fact, as I'd expect a little more privacy once I'm checked in.

Everything, the location is pretty good to get your exercise in and everything is quite close. Including public transport, shops, locals are quite friendly. La policia and the firemen were very helpful and kind. Would visit again

The socket could be closer to the bed and update to the place such as updated furniture and bathroom would help it even more. Perhaps aswell changing the check out time to later in the day. Aswell possibly a small fridge in each room. Change to the furniture could help aswell.

This hotel has very beautiful decor, authentic vintage of a sophisticated recent past. I believe the hotel dates from the 60s and of course has been updated but without losing its essential character and charm. My room was immaculately clean and everything was super comfortable- the bed, the armchair, the wonderful ensuite with piping hot water, the soft towels and lovely bedlinens. When I arrived, quite late, I was shown into the room and the window blind was raised revealing the most spectacular view of downtown Lisbon, the Castle, the Tagus River and the estuary with the bridge and statue of Christ the redeemer on the other side. The view from the breakfast room is even more amazing, it's got to be the best in the city! It was an experience and my feeling was that the staff were very passionate in their connection with the place. This made it very special.

It would have been good to have had access to the upper floor room and terrace in the evening, to enjoy a little food and a drink. As a woman travelling alone I do not feel comfortable dining alone outwith the hotel.

When I arrived, the cleaning of the room reserved for me was still in progress. To avoid keeping me waiting, I was directed to a much better room with a perfect view of Lisbon. The cleanliness was excellent, and the hotel staff were both professional and warm. Thank you for everything
