The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The place was just a few steps from the tram and Metro station. There was a very original smell in the corridor; it wasn't bad, just unusual. The bathroom was clean; no mould in the shower. There were nice pics of trams on the walls. Unlike posh hotels, this place had a soul (and less than €40 per night is a bargain!)
Not something i didn't like, probably worth a share though: The staircase leading up to the 2nd floor was extremely narrow - carrying the suitcase all the way up was a funny challenge. I'm a 1.95 guy also! I thought it was hilarious, but people who like convenience may not like it. But wait, people who like luxury go to their posh five star hotels ;)

Everything is good just the wifi in our room was too slow the connection is very slow. The location is perfect. You can travel from the airport to this hotel using the Tram and you exit Intendente station and you just only cross the road the hotel is down there. So many Indian, Bangladesh, Nepal on the street but they are all friendly and harmless. We walk every 2-3 am walking around the street without any problem. Also Check the restaurant Grill in chill on the intendente road where exactly u exit the metro. The food is superb and cheap for a very good food. And the stairs is very tight but overall very happy with our stay.

10/10 stars for the property being as described. It is basic, clean and excellent value. To be honest we thought the room looked better in person than what we were expecting. We never had an issue waiting for the shared bathroom. The location is very central for walking to the different areas of Lisbon! And with many places nearby. a Padaria for breakfast, Cortico & Netos for tile shopping, Mendo cafe for brunch, and you must try Caja Pasta Fresca Italian just around the corner, or Caruma Wine and Snacks a short walk/uber away, for dinner!!
The area can feel a bit sketchy at night time but don’t be put off - we felt safe and had absolutely no issues. Just be prepared it is not the most fancy location in Lisbon and with that expectation already you will have a great time 😊

The bed was very comfortable for me, it was hard mattress, I liked it. Two pillows with different size. TV worked, many channels. Air-conditioner worked and has nice silent mode, so this did not interfere my sleep. Refrigerator in the room was a nice surprise. Shared bathroom worked fine, never too busy. Guesthouse was in walking distance from the centre: 30 min easy walk to Praça do Comércio, 10 min to Martim Moniz, 20 min uphill to several miradouros, 1 min to metro station. Nice cafeteria with the breakfast menu almost next to guesthouse. I would come back if my stay is few nights and I do not plan to stay out late.
Windows without view. No common kitchen area, no possibility to use kettle or other kitchen accessories. Both nights at 5.30...5.45 someone was in the guesthouse very loud, doors were banging + someone was coughing in a very bad way. I could not fall asleep after that since around 7 all neighbours started their days and unfortunately I heard it all. Air conditioner spread strange smell but got used to that. Neighbourhood did not feel safe at night, no worries in daytime.

Our oom was a bit small, but very nice and clean. There was two bathrooms in four rooms, clean. We did’t have any problems. Queen bed was very comfortable, sheets neat and tidy. Two towels per person. We had small fridge in the room, that was realy good! In reception the guest can buy coffee, tea, drinks, wine. Metro station is very close, easy to reach other parts of the town. By foot is not very far from city centre.
One night was quite loud, some guests were unusualy loud eather in their room or in some open space in object. Street can be noisy during night and Praça Martim Moniz can look a bit scary in the evening or night, lots of people on the square doing nothing.

The location was very central to the old town and convenient to metro. Staff were fun, friendly and helpful. The room and shared space was clean. Nothing fancy but not uncomfortable.
On first arrival we felt some dismay by the neighborhood. The street and entrance to shared hall very sketchy. The staircase is crazy-no elevator. But as soon as you enter the guesthouse things were clean and bright. We got used to the street but did realize we shouldnt be out on it alone late at night-even though we were and never had a problem. Overall people everywhere in Lisbin were open, friendly and helpful.

We spent one night here. The room looked exactly like the photos. The bathroom was clean, as were the beds. There is also a small refrigerator in the room. It is true what is written in the other comments that there is no view from the window, or you can see the rear parking lot of the building and the yard. It is also true that the stairs at this accommodation are very narrow. If you have a suitcase, it is very interesting to get it up. Fortunately, we only had small backpacks. It is also true that the neighborhood in which this accommodation is located is multicultural. And on the streets you can see many people living in tents. But the metro is very close and you can reach the center within 15 minutes on foot. I have to say that near the accomodation we found an excellent Italian pizzeria! Nothing bothered us and it met our expectations.

Really well located to explore Lisbon. Metro station is 300 yards away. Staff were very friendly and the guesthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was super comfortable, the air con worked well and the shower was hot and powerful. The location is within a block of other apartments so you’ll see people on the stairs, no issues whatsoever and a few reviews mention groups of people and not feeling safe. I felt completely safe and secure, Intendente is a multi-cultural area, no problems or issues from our stay there.

Clean room, refurbished toilet, and they sell drinks in the reception which was great. Great location too as it's just a short walk away from the metro which was one or two stops away from the historical centre.
Very thin walls and ceiling. The hotel is in a building which is shared with other residents. We could hear them walking and around and yelling at night. Also the room is a little dark as it only has one light.

Helpful staff, reception fridge well supplied, location really close from metro and tram 28 that helped us get to cathedral, view points etc There are plenty of food choices nearby - absolutely not worth travelling to centre and queue to restaurants. Lovely tiles on buildings, even nicer than in centre
Neighbourhood may seem a bit dodgy, but nothing bad happened, or we have not seen anything worrying
