Wow, best hostel and staff I have come across in my stay in Portugal/Europe so far! Joam and Tibor were an incredible asset to this hostel being so elite for their directions around town and cool chats (Joam) and the affordable guided tour to Sintra (Tibor) which was the highlight of my trip in Portugal. I highly recommend it. It was magical. Julie was also a lovely host and Ana brought the responsibility and vibes high for the pub crawl they also provided when I was there on my second night. I will definitely stay here again if I come back. It is a testament when lots of other solo female Aussies also chose this hostel. The female-only dorm was excellent, clean, bed was comfortable and had a curtain and charging dock/bench for our personal belongings to be in bed with us, and eco-friendly with their water saving feature in the showers. The whole property was well designed with a cool bottom level check in process and an awesome rooftop to have drinks to meet people before going out, especially the pub crawl or Fago we also got to attend for free. Majority of the hostel travelers were also a huge vibe!
Nothing. It was the best hostel. I can’t flaw it. Maybe the only thing was there was no oat milk for my coffee but the soy was still amazing, plus the hostel provides a free coffee pass as a part of your key card at a local coffee shop that does have oat milk 15 min walk from the hostel, next to the sister hostel, WLFT.

The location is very convenient to visit the city and reach the airport/ train. The metro is just a few minutes away. Aesthetic is fantastic and service is hotel style oriented. Rooftop has a stunning view and natural daylight, good space to sit and work. The manager, Julia, is very professional and always on point to meet needs and requests.
In a week's stay I never got a hot shower. The bathroom is designed to be pretty but not practical at all (no shelf and only hooks for your clothes are inside the -small- shower). Also the common areas have a very limited space definitely not enough power points. It gets crowded very easily. Kitchen has high standards appliances but is so small that only one person at the time can cook. During breakfast and tapas night it's very challenging to make your meal. Check in process is too long.

1) Staff were very welcoming and always at hand to answer questions or recommend places to visit/eat in Lisbon! 2) There were events organised daily! The Sintra day trip was really good and would recommend for convenience! 3) The communal areas were amazing, the rooftop was a nice area to chill during the day and at night 4) Plenty of storage space - staff even allowed guests to drop bags off before check in time and after check out in a secure bag room 5) The hostel was social but also did not pressure people to have to mingle so good for introverted people like myself
Bathroom was small and cramped

An absolutely delightful stay - and I don’t use these words easily. This is really a 5* hostel, if there would be such a thing. The main points: - staff: From the get go I was met with a friendly, warm attitude, was offered coffee and was shown around. Joao was on duty when I arrived, and he was wonderful in showing me a lot of things to visit in Lisbon and his suggestions of restaurants and attractions were so helpful and much appreciated. The other staff were also always super friendly, and helpful. - cleanliness: met and exceeded expectations. There are people cleaning the bathrooms several times a day, emptying the bins, making sure napkins/ toilet paper / soap never runs out, daily cleaning in the rooms, where you’ll find your bed aranged and items put in order upon your return from your daily exploring. - modern look: love how bright and nicely decorated it is, kitchen amenities everything that s needed, nice vibe that makes you feel like you have a little home away from home. The bar area / rooftop looks lovely, you even forget you’re in a hostel and not some other rooftop bar in the city, and a stunning view of the city. - amenities: I was surprised to see they have such comfortable memory foam matresses in a hostel! Then, if you need an iron board or hair dryer they’ve got you covered. Free coffee and tea are also fab. -great location, easy to explore by foot or metro. There is a Lidl close by, so you can get your necessities, groceries, pastries, fresh orange juice etc. - noise level: after 23.00 the rooftop bar closes and everyone is reminded respectfully about keeping the noise down for the others to be able to rest. This is great, as hostels can be so noisy and sleep distruptive most times. - safety: very safe, you’re given a room card & have the option to get a padlock and lock belongings in your allocated bed drawer. - social: great activities organised, from fado night to sintra day & pub crawl.

The staff was fabulous. Very great at making connections with people. Stayed in a 4 person room and it was very clean.
If you work remote for american timezone this is a difficult place to stay at. They try to accommodate you but there isn't enough dedicated space at night since they turn into social zones. Something you should know if your a remote traveler.

Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Everyone was so nice, there was coffee and iced tea free all day, and it was a very comfortable and friendly place to be. They shared so much information about the city and even suggested things that I might like seeing. I did so many of the activities they offer and even with so many things going on, it was really quiet and relaxing. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have had nearly the same experience if I'd stayed at a different hostel.
Everything was amazing! I just wish I could have stayed longer haha

The staff at this hostel are incredibly welcoming and friendly! They went above and beyond, offering insightful recommendations about the area. I loved their unique map, which highlighted some amazing places to visit that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. The hostel also organizes various activities, which is a fantastic way to meet other travelers from the Love F tourists. I had the chance to join a trip to Sintra, and it was absolutely stunning – definitely a highlight of my stay.
One small downside was that some payments had to be made in cash, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be much more convenient if contactless payment options were available. Unfortunately, this meant I missed breakfast with my new friends, as I had to go out and find a bank to withdraw cash.

We spent only 2 nights at the property, but everything exceeded my expectations. The 4-beds room with a view was clean, quiet and has an amazing view, beds were very comfortable. The rooftop bar is an excellent place to chill during the day and socialize during the evening. I noticed some of the guests worked from there, so the wi-fi must be pretty good as well. It's located in a walking distance from city centre, so you won't have issues staying late at night (depending on the area) And what about the personnel? Literally (and i don't use this word very often) everyone we had interaction with was great and made the stay one of the highlights of our visit. It is very rare nowadays in the hospitality industry someone to take the word hospitality seriously, but everyone here does it and goes beyond.

The Staff were absolutely fantastic. Helpful, friendly, engaging and authentic. Sometimes you could see they were very busy with keeping things going in the hostel, but they kept their friendliness and ready to help you. I truly felt like they are my friends. The hostel itself is also very good. You have an area downstairs where the reception is, to sit and cook and hangout with people, also there is a bar on the rooftop if you want to work or meet with people. In my room I had a balcony on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the city. It was very nice to wake up to that view. Easy access to the Metro, you can easily walk to the historical part of the city. Also very easy to get there from the airport.
The only thing that can be improved is the water temperature. For taking a shower if you were lucky, you had a war shower, if not, then you hat to finish it as fast as possible. I can think of a reason for that. If the water was very warm, everyone would take a longer shower, which is not ideal for a shared bathroom in a hostel

The staff was great. The rooftop lounge/bar , also. And nice, simple details throughout.
Location isn’t great for walking to and from, though it looks like it would be on the map (very hilly). The front door bangs shut; very loud… not a huge deal except at 3am, etc.
