The hotel is perfectly located in Alfana neighbourhood. Very clean and with a friendly staff. The common rooms are nice and from the hotel you can go everywhere in the city.

I booked a "superior room with river view", but when I arrived I got a very small room because the hotel was full. When I complained, the hotel refunded me a portion of the price in order for me to pay the regular room. I appreciated it very much, but I would have liked to have the room I booked.

The staff was very friendly and it’s probably what is making me give this hotel a good grade. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was quite good. I liked having complimentary access to a good coffee machine with a good selection of hot drinks. Beds are also very comfy. AC in the rooms was also great way to escape from the Lisbon heat! location is pretty good, right by the Miradouro. There’s a lot of restaurants around but also lots of tourists.

The hotel is quite small and the photos are misleading. The main photo used (the one of a big terrace) is not even belonging to the hotel, it’s a restaurant across the street!! that’s not clear from the description and this is very misleading. The actual terrace of the hotel is quite a small but cute garden but it hasn’t got any place to sit and it’s not clearly signalled how to get there. The balcony in the room is ok to get a bit of fresh air but again it hasn’t even got a table or chairs. There’s not a bin in the room and the toilet door is a sliding door which leaves a gap between the bathroom and the door. definitely not great for a high end hotel.

I don't usually write reviews but I had to after our recent stay here. This hotel is just beautiful. Location is amazing in the heart of Alfama with stunning views across the road. Lovely restaurants, bars and little shops to explore. The staff in the hotel were so professional and accommodating - they organised a late check out for us last minute with no extra charge. The little touches in our room were lovely - 2 pastel de nata and a bottle of ginja were waiting for us to sample as well as a beautiful tile for us to take home. The rooms were modern, bright and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and the little terrace at the front of the hotel was a nice spot to watch the world go by. Plenty of steep hills and steps around but this is to be expected when visiting Lisbon. Would 100% recommend this hotel to family and friends. Will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were cozy and we enjoyed complete silence at night. Great amenities - the mini bar was complementary and always full and we got a new watter bottle everyday. They also changed the towels and cleaned the rooms daily. The breakfest has all the essentials you need and they always ask if you want an omelette or fried eggs that are not on display. Also, the bar was a very nice surprise - order the Sangria, you will not be disappointed!

We vacationed in the winter and we tried to turn on the AC to heat up the room one night but it didn’t work. The receptionist did the best she could but it wouldn’t budge. Thankfully we didn’t need it anymore the following nights, so we stopped asking for a handyman. The AC did work on the cold setting though. The bed was ok but not the firmest, if you have back problems, you might not fully enjoy it.

Mostly everything was amazing, staff are so kind, amazing view overlooking Lisbon. It was overall, amazing!

Thin walls, so if you have loud neighbors it can be annoying at night

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room had a great view it was in a prime spot. The square outside is perfect for quiet drinks and has a cabin selling delicious deserts and fruit, plus wine and beer which can be enjoyed whilst looking over the river. The hotel was very quiet at night, no noise from other guests. Bus and Tram stop right outside.

The room was smaller than expected, and I had nowhere to store my personal items. There was racking rather than a wardrobe and draws, plus the dressing table had only a small mirror at the wrong height. It was not too big a deal as there was a full length mirror. The biew was great but the windows were very low so it could only be enjoyed from the one chair.

Fantastic location, Alfalma is such a neat neighborhood. I think it's fair to say that our view of Lisbon overall was heavily influenced by this hotel. The front desk staff was very kind. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks in our room fridge, welcome pastel de natas, and small local liquor bottle. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. Eggs, bacon, fruit, cheese/meats, pastries, and breads. They also had a 24/7 self-serve coffee machine, which my wife enjoyed. The bed in our room was very comfortable. The hotel is super closer to a good lookout point in Lisbon, great restaurants, shops, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here at this hotel.

Breakfast was assortment of breads meats cereal cheese fruits yogurt and eggs nicely displayed and kept fresh. The location of the hotel is fabulous is you are interested in exploring old Lisbon in Alfama neighborhood. For us couldn’t have found a better location.

Nothing necessarily not to like unless you are looking for a large hotel on larger property. I would suggest if your guest arrive with a car rental to offer a detailed map with directions to parking lot and/or offer valet. Also where to park to unload and load luggage.

The location was amazing, walkable to so many wonderful attractions, restaurants, and in the heart of fairy-tale Alfama. The receptionists and staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was easy and delicious, while the bar and 24/7 espresso were nice perks . We were also able to store our luggage in a check room for several hours after checkout, which was appreciated. The small room was sparkly clean, with a gorgeous walkout balcony overlooking the river.

The rooms are quite small, particularly the bathroom with slanted ceilings to boot. A guy over 6’0 would need to sit down to pee, but hey, when in . . . Lisbon!

Fantastic stay at this small, welcoming hotel in Lisbon's old town. The room was lovely, clean and well-appointed - we had a beautiful view of the river and the viewpoint opposite the hotel. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice and amazing pastries! The staff were lovely - very friendly and welcoming whilst being professional and attentive. Simone on reception was particularly memorable - wishing me a happy birthday, and also arranging for a cake and some fizz in our room - a fantastic, unexpected surprise. The location is great, right in the old town with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The 28E tram goes from right outside and the walk up the hill from the river isn't too bad - even in 33 degree heat! If you get chance to stay here, make sure you do - you won't regret it! We hope to be able to come back!
