This hotel provided the most exceptional stay we have ever experienced. The facilities were outstanding, and the restaurant was one of the finest we’ve visited, offering both exquisite food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. However, the most remarkable aspect was the staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home with their incredible attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Special mention to Alex, whose impeccable wine knowledge, fascinating stories, and personal attention made every dinner unforgettable. Denusha and Henrique also enhanced the dining experience with their kindness and flawless service. At breakfast, Wendy, Erika and Lucas brightened every morning with her care and cheerfulness. Also they have the BEST BREAKFAST IN EUROPE!!! The bar was another highlight, thanks to Manuel, who crafted perfect drinks and created a relaxing ambiance. Ps: Do not skip the chance to have dinner here, the chef is FANTASTIC! This hotel is the perfect combination of perfectionism and warmth, making it feel like a home away from home.

The breakfast was incredibly delicious with so many options. The service throughout our stay exceeded our expectations. The room was dark and quiet and beds so comfortable. Such beautiful and charming hotel.

We didn't mind the climb to get to the hotel, but some travelers should know that it is at the top of a hill coming from the city center.

Everything. From the moment we arrived, Ruben and his colleague checked us in. Before we knew it, our baggage was already in our room, which they upgraded. This was a very nice touch for my wife's 60th birthday. We loved the hotel and its history, and the staff (all) were amazing. Thank you! A special thank you to Ruben and the Concierge Team, Martin - Thanks for showing us the extension of the hotel coming up in 4 years or so (please invite us to the opening :) and of course Bruno from the Bar for making our evenings special and memorable, especially for wife birthday. Everything was perfect. We cannot share anything negative for this hotel or it's staff.

Amazing breakfast. Great location near restaurants. Walking distance to shopping areas. Enjoyed going just across the street from the hotel to see sunrise. Last but not least, the hotel staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive, and full of advice and suggestions for how we could most enjoy our time in Lisbon.

I wished there was a fitness center. However the staff recommended a number of places nearby. Otherwise it was great.

From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, the service levels were incredible - there was nothing the hotel staff wouldn't do to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I would name some of the people but would not want to leave anyone out, but every member of each team we interacted with was exceptional, from cleaning, to guest services, to restaurant. The location is brilliant - we were right in the middle of the historic Alfama area, yet the hotel was an oasis of calm, and a joy to return to each day and evening. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is not a cheap option, but the stay we had justified the expense and we will go back I'm sure.

That we couldn't stay longer than 3 nights. Other than that, the whole stay was fantastic.

The location is outstanding. The staff is incredible and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food at the Audrey’s restaurant is outstanding. The property is very unique. The bathroom is huge. I’ve stayed at two different locations in Lisbon and this one is the best.

I didn’t have hot water in the shower. The staff immediately came up, but there was something wrong and it was never fixed. I was only there for two nights. This was an isolated incident, and not an overall reflection of the property.

I have never been to Lisbon and booked this based on reviews knowing nothing about the area. What a surprise, it is an older small boutique hotel of excellent quality and condition. The only mark for a view is our view was of a beautiful vegetated courtyard instead of an ocean view. But what privacy and quite that offered. The service was fantastic, above expectations. We were given cheese and meat plates in the room before dinner, the food in the restaurant was fantastic, and the best part was being able to walk less than one block to the most desired view point in Lisbon, and close proximity to other things like St Joes Castle, walks, etc.

Great location and the staffs were really nice and helpful. The room was beautiful with comfortable bed, as well as big bathroom. It’s got everything that we needed. Also the breakfast was very good, good selection and delicious.

Because it is in the old town area so shops around closed quite soon. We brought our car and parked outside just in front of the hotel and we found some scratch. This upset us a bit but understandable as it is in public area.

Hotel was in an amazing location. In a gorgeous neighborhood and on a quiet street but right next to a popular viewpoint of the whole city and very close and walkable to the center of the city and tourist area. Room was spacious and very clean and gorgeous with lovely views. Shower was large, everything we needed was in the room. Hotel doors are locked at night for extra safety. Upon arrival the reception gave us an amazing map with walking routes and recommendations for eating, shopping, sites that were all fantastic. While doing so they transported our bags to our room so our bags were already in the room when we went up. They had turndown service, cleaning whenever we were out of the room. Just a perfect stay. We split our visit with another hotel and this one was far far better and if returning i would only stay here.

Gorgeous hotel. Bed was really comfortable and the shower was lovely. Staff were so friendly and helpful and it was lovely to be greeted on arrival with a cool drink. Sophie's bistro was lovely for a tasty breakfast and the bar was fantastic - best Negroni I have ever had. Hotel itself is beautifully built and decorated.

There was no view from our room - It overlooked an internal outdoor area over reception, which while quiet, was disappointing. Turn down service was at 530pm which was really early so when they knocked, we were always in the room and they would leave and never come back.
