I particularly appreciate a handsome young boy working in the front desk on the morning of 14th, who helped us to check in for the flight. He is so helpful and skillful at computer. Without his help we could not fulfill the requirement by the flight. After successful check in for the flight, he also printed a hard copy for us. We feel truly thankful for him. Besides him, other front desk ladies were also willing to help and polite. The hotel staff look have a good training.

I kept on receiving emails after I mad a booking with hotel. The frequency of such email was so high ( almost every day) and the tome was pushing. Although I made the reservation with booking.com and was ready to honor it, the hotel emphasized that my booking was not secure until I got to the hotel. When I asked in front desk, I was told the emails were issued automatically by computer. Hotel is good managed, but this is not good.

Clean and comfortable business style hotel. Nice room with fridge and kettle, also coffee machine and good breakfast options. Very comfortable bed.

Location was good for public transport with bus stop and metro close by. Neighbourhood not attractive, big noisy demolition project directly opposite will cause nuisance for many weeks and then a big redevelopment of the site could take a year or so!

Hotel is nicely located, a bit outside the city cener. It is very elegant , peaceful and quet. Rooms are clean, large and spacious, very modern. Beds are comfortable, large bathroom. We had a balcony, which is a great plus. Hotel is located just outside the city center, with a metro and bus stations very near. It is peaceful and quet. Everything worth seeing is walkable. Overall excellent experience. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Porto, same as I would return. Rooftop terrace is perfection, a peace of paradise. Great stay. Stuff is proffessional, polite, helpful.

Nice modern hotel with great staff. Beautiful rooms and a good location just a short distance from the subway and the whole city.

The hotel was great. Good location, near subway by 4 min ( direct from airport - about 35 min). Our rooms was big and really sunny🙂. Really clean and for sure is a place were we will come again. 4🌟 for real! Rooms - big, cozy and a big bathroom, everything you need when you are in a hurry ( toothb, airb, soap and etc..). Free water and coffee (complementary). Nice one!🙂 - breakfast - we are vegetarians. Everything was good. Fruits, seeds and a lot of bread and jams, eggs etc Overall was a good choise in a beautiful city! Yep!🌟🌟🌟🌟

It was a great choice for our stay in Porto. It takes about 5 min from the hotel to the metro station Campo 24 de Agosto and more or less 15 minutes walking to the city centre, exactly what we were looking for. I felt safe in the area of the hotel and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful and spacious as well as the bathroom. It offers a small balcony too. The bed was really large and comfortable. Breakfast included an incredible range of items to choose from and was very high quality. Nearby is also located a big supermarket Continente. Great value for money, I would definitely recommend.

The bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. The room (a superior double) was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, we only had a view of the car park, but it was still a lovely room. The breakfasts were good quality and very tasty.

Whilst Google maps tells you it's close to main attractions, you have to take account of the fact that it's all mostly uphill from the riverside, for example. And some of those hills are long and steep! It was a tiring walk back at night, but also a safe one and manageable if your mobility is reasonable. Ubers and taxis are also very affordable from anywhere in Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia, so if we needed a ride back to the hotel, that was ok.

We only spent one night to catch an early flight to San Miquel. Check in was easy and the room was a good size. Very quiet. The shower was very nice with a waterfall shower head and very nice shampoo and body wash provided. There was a coffee maker, mini bar, and safe in the room. There is a mini mart and self-serve laundromat a few meters away from the hotel entrance which was very helpful for us. Some nice restaurants all with walking distance. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. A great place to relax and refresh before the next leg of our trip.

Everything was perfect

We did not try the breakfast. The hotel is a steep walk uphill from the center of town.

On booking.com, the hotel lists onsite parking and does not mention a fee, while the other hotels on the site all mention a parking fee. When we arrived, we learned there was a fee of 20 euros a day. When we complained, the staff did admit that most arrivals made the same complaint, but showed us that in very small letters on the (post) booking sheet it mentions the fee. This is consumer deception. Booking.com must insist that all sites mention the fee upfront and should also specify the exact daily cost.

The location of the hotel is good. Nice rooftop. Rooms are clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Coffee machine by nespresso in the room was a pleasant surprise.

The breakfast is the same, each day. Eggs are offered as boiled or scrambled. For 200€/night, I think they might have included fried eggs or omelet(simple or with ham/vegetables). They offer these, but for 4/ 6€ extra charge. This is the reason I would say the price per night is a bit high compared to what you get, given that it is a 4 star hotel..
