Everything was perfect. Close to shoppings, restaurants, gym and in a safe neighborhood.

The internet was so slow I was unable to book flights for my next trip and had to look for a travel agency. I had to work for one day during my vacation and asked to use the lobby computer, which was so fruastating as I was not able to navigate. This is a must have for all trabellers. I hope they can improve it.

This was my third time staying here and on this occasion the cleanliness of the room was excellent. I liked the stocked fridge and the coffee/tea making facilities within the room, but there was only decaf coffee available. Good air conditioner. This was required as the room temperature got really warm on several days of my stay. The hotel being located near one of the best food halls in Porto, I feel is a real bonus. Every interaction with the hotel staff from my arrival until my departure was done in a friendly and professional manner and I had no hesitation asking for advice or help at any time.

People smoking within their rooms. The smoke would get into the air conditioner of my room and fill it with a strong smell of smoke. As a non smoker I really hated that. People were also constantly smoking on the steps at the entrance to the hotel while the doors were jarred open to allow fresh air in. This allowed the smoke in. As a non smoker, I did not want to sit in the reception area due to this, and I did not use the bar which is situated next to reception although I would have liked to as it is a nice area to sit and spend time chatting or relaxing in.

Very good breakfast, much to choose from, including fresh orange juice. Nice to see that the staff cleaned as well the placemat as the table with a clean cloth after each guest! Nice spacy size of the room, big safety box. Big curtains shutting out all light. Nice with refrigirator and coffee making equipment. Nice with carpet in the corridors to reduce the sounds. OK quiet during the night.

Sound proofing is needed! We could hear the neighbors talk and snore, and could also hear their alarm clock in the morning! No carpets in the rooms, which would have reduced the sounds.

Mild issue: I'm lactose intolerant and couldn't have some of the breakfast things (e.g. tea/coffee with milk, the cheeses, cereal) - I didn't spot the sign saying to ask the staff if you have allergies/intolerances, and I'd also already been told no by multiple cafes (including chains) when asking for soy/oat. I'd looked it up and soy was the most popular dairy alternative in Portugal last year so this shouldn't have been too weird. There are plenty of other breakfast foods on offer, but just be aware if you are travelling and can't have milk, to bring your own travel sachets if you want it in your coffee.

The room was nicely designed, modern, clean and spacious with plenty of plugs (also right besides the beds) and a large TV. The breakfast was simply outstanding! The best one I ever had in Portugal with an extensive buffet with quality food and a lot of variation throughout our 5-night stay. The 24-hour-reception works perfectly with actual reception staff present all the time - this was important for us as we arrived with a late flight and also arrived late at night on the days we visited the Primavera Sound festival. From the nearby Casa da Musica you can reach the old town of Porto by metro within a few minutes. There are also several buses that go directly to the Parque da Cidade (driving time app. 30 minutes) where the Primavera Sound festival takes place. The hotel is perfectly located between the two spots and was therefore a great choice for our stay! :)

1 - Location is very good. 2 - Staff also very welcoming. 3 - Breakfast - best chocolate cake ever! 4 - Tea, coffee and water. Made my day after a long day at the office.

1 - Card to access the room: if possible please inform the guests at the reception, during check-in, that we need to insert the card and is not by contactless. When I first arrived, I had to go downstairs because I thought the card was not "working". Only after I understood it wasn't contactless. 2 - That carpet on the floor. I know is a detail :) but for me makes the hotel look old and outdated, and is not pretty at all. 3 - Room - missing a small table to go with the small "couch" so I could drink my tea. 4 - The TV remote control, very weird: lack of buttons :) the volume was not working, or at least I couldn't understand how to do it

This was a very nice hotel - the room was clean, a good size, had a desk space, small fridge and a chair. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was nice, the shower was over the bath but good. It was about a 35 minute walk to the old Town but there was a small shopping centre next door (which we needed as our bags didn't arrive) and a food court very close. The staff were helpful when we had questions. All in we were very pleased with this hotel

Nothing really, some people might find the distance from the old Town a bit much but there are buses if it is too far to walk

The room was nice, clean and spacious with all the facilities one might need (minifridge, coffee/taa maker, table, etc.). Bed was very comphy. The staff was polite, the room was cleaned daily together with towel change. Variety of food and drinks was offered at the breakfast buffet.

Location could be better of course since this hotel is a bit far from the city center (half an hour by foot). However, taxi in Porto is quite cheep so the distance was not a problem. As I said, breakfast buffet offered a variety of foods and drinks. Howevery, meny things were not so tasty and high quality (compared to other european hotels I visited before).

The hotel was in an excellent location, only a block or so from the college where I was attending a conference. The room was good sized, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent but overpriced as I did not include it in my reservation. Transport to the airport worked very well with the taxi coming directly to the door.

Nothing! Everything that I needed was provided. Only problem was the price of the breakfast as noted above. Cocktail lounge was small and rather pricy too.

I lived in Porto for 1 year and I chose this hotel because it’s besides Mercado Bom Sucesso which offers many food options for food and drinks. You should have breakfast there and not at the hotel! It is about 25 min walk from the old center or a few metro stops. Also there are many buses that go straight to the center or ribeira. Price a bit expensive though for short bus ride. The hotel offers Parking for 12 Euros per night in their own parking underground. The room was comfortable and staff was helpful. We have not tried the bar nor breakfast.

Very strong cigarette smoke smell in the lobby. I am allergic to it so therefore the complain. People smoke outside but very close to the door and the door stays open. I think they should go further away to smoke. You could hear people in the other rooms sometimes, but nothing too bothering.
