Nice small hotel in an old building. Large rooms with period features (including high ceilings and sloping floors!) Large, modern bathroom. Friendly, helpful and accomadating staff. Nice breakfast. I had to leave early on the last day and mentioned I would not be in for breakfast, and the owner insisted on leaving a plate for me to eat in my room before I left. Garden behind the hotel with a separately run bar and restaurant. Location was great for me - I was at an event at the stadium just across the road. Lots of good local cafes and restaurants nearby. Unique hotel and rooms, personalised service.

No complaints at all. Some folk might want to know that the rooms are accessed via stairs.

Service was execellent. When we arrived they moved us to a better room (garden side) free of charge as they'd had a large party cancel. Also when I lost my mobile phone on the last night they arranged to have it sent back to the UK when it was found in the last taxi we used. Very friendly and great tips on what to see and do in Porto. Would highly recommend to anyone considering going to Porto

Nothing in particular. The loo lid was missing but this wasn't an issue that bothered us. The room we were going to have was described as 'city view' but not view of the city really, just a main road

Wonderful restoration of this property in an area worth exploring. There is an artisan quarter in the streets behind this hotel with cafes, bars, and shops in a neighbourhood experiencing gentrification. Nearby is a wonderful park, as well as another viewing point for the sunset. We found the location excellent for walking to and from the town, with bus stops nearby for going further, including airport links. We booked a room that opened into the garden, which was a highlight. Taking a coffee or even breakfast up to the small terrace space made the mornings another enjoyable part of our trip. Staff were very sweet and accommodating.

Breakfast area felt a bit dark. Bathroom was fine but felt less refined and charming than the bedroom in contrast.

Fabulous location close to the centre of Porto and nearly opposite to the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal - beautiful gardens especially at sunset. An easy walk to many places of interest and the lively centre area with many restaurants and shops. The Loft itself is somewhere a little different to stay with plenty of character and a lovely garden. Spotlessly clean, good shower, and the bed was especially comfortable and I slept very well. The room had a small fridge, LG tv with a good choice of channels or the option to log into Netflix. Wi-fi was good and reliable. Continental breakfast had a good range and was topped up during the morning. The staff were wonderful. Friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Good communication before my trip and arranged taxi transfers via the private driver which went seamlessly. Highly recommended and if I return to Porto again I know where I would want to stay.

The hotel is really beautiful. The rooms are nicely furnished and show an individual style. The breakfast is delicious and has a great variety. Fresh fruits, great cake and tasty Portuguese specialties as well as cereals, bread, cheese, nuts etc. Highlight of the hotel is the stunning garden, where you can chill and which is beautifully illuminated at night. Employees of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful, they go beyond the usual to help you. The hotel is close to the Palace Cristal gardens and a 15 minutes walk to some of the cities highlights like Torre dos Clérigos and Livraria de Lello.

There was quite a big street in front of the hotel, which I didn't like too much. At least you couldn't hear it from inside and the inside of the hotel feels more like an oasis.

The hotel really is an art hotel. It is beautifully styled with fabulous art and design. Anbabella is a lovely host who very kindly explained the main sites we should visit. The location is great. It is outside the tourist area but still walking distance to everything. The room and bed were very comfortable with access to a large garden. There is a restaurant but no noise from it and it is very quiet. We would highly recommend Oporto Loft for the hotel itself, the location and staff.

Nothing

The hotel is sooo nice. It is different than standard hotels. It's located in an old family house built around 1870, that still belongs to the family. There are few rooms in it and the service is very friendly. Breakfast was very good, with a large variety of food, all of high quality. There is a coffee machine and kettle for making tea in the room. The room has high ceiling and nice decoration and it has a door that opens to a veranda overlooking the beautiful garden at the back of the hotel and it is possible to go down from it via a few stairs to the garden itself. Back in the garden there's also a restaurant, which is a nice bonus. The food in the restaurant is also special and of high quality and the setting in the garden that is nicely lit and decorated at night is an extra bonus. In addition, right across the street there's the Crystal Palace gardens, that are a very nice place to sit and relax, as well as have an amazing view of the river and the city.

Didn't get a clear explanation regarding how to open the front door at night. But when facing this question one night, I just called the restaurant and a friendly lady from the staff came over and opened the door for me.

Classic and beautiful property in the Art District of Porto. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with tasteful art around, with access to a back balcony. Staff are very helpful and friendly and couldn't do more to help. There is also a lovely bar/restaurant out the the spacious back garden. Local area is good for wandering around, cute art shops, cafes and bars and not very touristy.

Nothing.

Very warm welcome. Staff could not do enough for you even booking taxis on a regular basis.Room was delightful full of character and old world charm with a modern updated contemorary ensuite. The restaurant Jangal which was located in the garden to the rear not only was convenient but also exceptional value for money with charming professional staff. Food was superb!

Absolutely nothing! Will stay again at some future date for sure.

I really enjoyed the old charm of the building and they kept so much character but still added modern amenities.

We had booked a room with 2 beds, the Deluxe 2 Bedroom I believe it was called, however 1 of the beds was a single bed just kind of stuffed into a closet, Harry Potter style. So my Mum and I just used it for our suitcases and just shared the 1 Queen size bed.
