It is really a nice chic hotel with great service. Good location, walkable to downtown, beautiful window view from rooms and restaurant. With parking. Breakfast is so good. Big room with comfortable beds. Good value.

The carpet in corridors ( public area) looks dirty.

The Neya Porto hotel was lovely, with a beautiful and cozy design. The rooms are very comfortable, and we were lucky to have a gorgeous view of the river from our room. Additionally, the reception staff was very kind, especially Joan, who recommended amazing places to visit and great spots to eat. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

"Although the room was very beautiful and had a view of the river, on Friday and Saturday nights, you can hear noise from a nearby nightclub in the room. If you decide to stay at the hotel, I would recommend choosing a room that is not close to the nightclub because the hotel is truly worth it."

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The property itself is beautiful, offering a breathtaking view of the river that added to the charm of the stay. The highlight for me was the spa – it truly felt like a hidden gem, almost as if you were in a tranquil cave, adding an extra layer of relaxation to our visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The receptionist went above and beyond, providing us with detailed directions to local attractions that were spot-on and made our trip even better. To top it all off, the most heartwarming surprise was when they celebrated my birthday with a special treat. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the stay even more memorable. I would definitely visit this hotel again and highly recommend it to others. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish!

We found the location to be excellent, you can explore so much of the city and walks along the river , it truly is such a good, quiet location! We will certainly recommend to others!

The only downfall we found was the poor design of the shower. The water doesn’t drain when running, so much so it pools and becomes very slippery if not drained before you leave the shower. Not to mention the towel rack is in the wrong place so you have to push the door (and water) into the room on exit if the shower, ending in a lake on the floor! It wasn’t a major issue for us, but both my husband I commented on how dangerous it could be for others.

The whole building looks fresh and stylish, the rooms, the lobby, the halls etc. Light music in the hall and pleasant aroma were a nice touch. The room was spacious, stylish and had really gorgeous river view. We were glad to have a bath tub and a very useful massage pillow, very relaxing after long days of walking. The amount of pillows is more than enough, you can choose any to your liking.

Unfortunately, the great impression was spoiled by unpolite staff in the restautrant at breakfast and dirty floors in the room. The quality of cleaning was poor, even after I put the sign "please make the room" in the morning and came back in the evening, the floor stayed as dusty as it was. As I am allergic to dust, it was very unpleasant and unhealthy experience. The breakfast was poor as well. Almost everything was tasteless, very little vegetables (on the second morning hadn't found one at all).

The location was beautiful, right across from the water and close to city center. The room was very clean and the staff was accommodating to our needs. Beautiful location with accommodating staff. We initially got a room with two separate beds and we asked the front desk if it would be possible to get a room with one queen bed and they immediately had housekeeping come to our room to make the bed into one bed instead of two separate beds.

There was an additional €20 a night for parking, which is a bit expensive but it was convenient that the hotel has their own parking garage.

The hotel is beautiful. The whole building including the lobby, hallways, restaurant, and rooms have a soothing feel to them. Very relaxing and tranquil. We didn't have a river view, but our window looked out onto a nice green space. It seems like all the details were well considered in the design of this building.

The location is a bit awkward to get to and from major attractions in the city, you pretty much have to walk at least 20 minutes up hill. There were some transit connections nearby and the hotel offers bicycles, but we were mostly on foot. The nice thing is that going back to your hotel is almost always downhill!

Room was great, with a massive picture window two storeys high overlooking the river. Dinner in the Restaurant was very good and the bar on the top floor was a great location. The extras that came with the room - port, pastries, dried fruit/nuts - were a really special touch. Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good, a 15 minute walk along the river back to the main river-side area

Only real negative was the gym. The treadmill was unusable because its belt slipped at any speed and the multigym was out of order.

Very clean and quiet hotel, comfortable rooms. The staff was very nice especially during breakfast and dinner, we really appreciated. Very good breakfast with a big variety, even if crowdy the staff was well organised to face this. Also, for dinner, high quality of food/cooking but quite expensive.

We called the reception for reserving 2 massages for the next day. Although the receptionist confirmed the registration and the hours, when we arrived at the Spa, there was no massage booked. However they allowed the massage but only for one of us.

Before arrival, I tried to communicate with the hotel by email, asking how the parking problem was solved if guests arrive by car and the hotel parking is full. They didn't answer me for a long time, then finally replied that there is some other parking lot in about 700 meters from the hotel. Upon arrival, not only we could not find the parking, we couldn't even find where to stop nearby, and my first attempts to call and ask the staff how do we stop, check in, and park were very frustrating: the staff didn't seem to care whether we get into their hotel at all (around midnight) or not. Later, the problem was resolved, but that first communication left some unpleasant impression.
