Room and bathroom, food, breakfast, dinner, room, breakfast, nice scenery view + possibility of going swimming or doing fitness. We forgot a special charging cable on our departure day and the staff gave it to us before we took the taxi. Great job 👍 !

We had a lovely stay at this Hotel. The receptionist who checked us in was so helpful, pleasant and courteous. The Hotel is very comfortable, we had a fabulous view out the window and breakfast was nice. Even the maintenance chap came to speak to us, he was so nice. On our first night we ate in the Taverna inside the Hotel, it was very typically Portuguese which we love. We would definitely return again.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like, we stayed for 3 nights, could have easily have stayed longer.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the room with views excellent also the facilities outside and indoor pools plus gym .The staff all very friendly and helpful,upon arrival we were greeted by Johnathan on reception ,polite,friendly and very helpful

The only issue was in the restaurant, service good,food unfortunately cold and the meat looked like it had been kept since lunch for the evening service It was replaced and better,problem hotfood served on cold plates

The restaurant was not great. Breakfast was not good and very limited. Dinner- had to send back extremely overcooked meat after asking for medium rare. They redid it ok-but it was very tough. Overall- very average. Facilities were ok. I would class it more as a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Santarém city centre, I consider it well located! Obviously if coming from Lisbon, it is far (45min drive) worth it! There is free car parking outside! And GUESS WHAT, it is a PET-FRIENDLY hotel! The check-in was quick and very professional! The room, oh my ... it looked so posh! The room had a great ambience and charm! The bed was huge and very comfy! The pillows were smooth and comfy! There were sockets and USB ports on the side of the bed, which were very convenient! The bathroom had a bathtub and great products! There was a swimming pool outside and indoors, which I am ashamed not to have tried it! Breakfast was a simple continental type. The staff was very friendly!

The Hotel Santarem is a first-class hotel. Its decor is luxurious, from the room itself to the corridors and the ground floor salon. The service is flawless and every request I had was answered gracefully. The concierge was of great help finding information I needed to find a realtor. High marks all around and I would definitely return.

This hotel is located on the top of a hill, near the centre of the city. The position is also appreciable for the climate. It can be smoothly windy in the summertime, enjoyable. It offers comfortable rooms and a good restaurant. Breakfast and dinner usually are delicious.

Some old staffs make the atmosphere sometimes dismal. The w-ifi service is not working at all

We only stayed 1 night but enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room was spacious and quiet with an extremely comfortable bed. There is a great outdoor area with a huge pool. There was sufficient lounge bed and shade and a lovely little bar area to order drinks and snacks. The breakfast was buffet style and had good options. This hotel is located a little outside Santarem centre but we walked to the old town in 20 mins. The old town is well worth a visit, wonderful churches and squares. The local university has initiated a scheme whereby young people are available to give information and anecdotes at each historical building... brilliant idea, it really enriched our experience. I'd highly recommend this hotel and the city also.

This was such a pleasant surprise. The room felt luxurious and spacious with a phenomenal view. We loved the bath robes and slippers as a special touch. The hotel has wonderful amenities in the form of a gym and both indoor and outdoor pools. We enjoyed breakfast and the staff very helpful and friendly.
