Very beautiful resort close to Lisbon. We booked a suite with balcony and nice views of the golf course. There were 2 outdoor pools which were too cold to use, and an additional large indoor heated pool which my daughter loved. The Michelin restaurants were closed since it was low season, only the pan Asian restaurant and the Spanish/Portuguese restaurants were open. Our room was newly renovated and very comfortable.

The quality of the food at the restaurants could be better. We had high expectations since it’s a Ritz Carlton property. However the taste of the food at the tapas restaurant was way under par compared to the food we had during our one week trip to Portugal. We ate at the resort for convenience. But if we stayed longer we would rather go out to eat.

Fantastic resort located in a stunning location. Incredible staff and a wide range of services. In a word, it has everything you need to be in complete relaxation and enjoy nature!

We stayed in room 376, there was a constant noise and banging from the service (freight) elevator that could be clearly heard.

Very nice pool area, great restaurants and tasty breakfast. A large property to take long walks, and an absolutely breath-taking golf course. It is a plus that the hotel has free chargers for electric cars.

The deluxe rooms are 42 m2, that said they feel somehow very small because of the layout and size of the furniture. A breakfast is still 11 am but gets very packed on a weekend between 10-11. I would definitely recommend to extend the breakfast hours till 12 pm on weekends, otherwise the staff is not able to offer 5* breakfast like on other days. On a little minus side, there are 6 or 7 electric car chargers, but since it is a self parking and if you arrive late to the hotel, you miss the spot and have to wait till the car owners decide to leave and move their car. I would suggest EV charges are to be used only by valet staff that can change the cars that are being charged.

The landscapes surrounding hotel are stunning. You are in the middle of natural reserve park, with a 16th century monastery besides. Facilities are top notch, people serving you totally amazing, so much smiles, warmth and attention you get, that you start feeling like the most appreciated guest. For the Easter Holliday hotel organized for kids the bouncing castle, table and floor football, animator Lion greeting kids in the morning. The play room is full of slides and equipment for smaller ones. Gym is next level with fantastic views to the park and pool.

I saw in comments before booking the hotel, that indoor pool is quite cold. It is around 28C, good for the intensive swimming, but extra 2degrees would make a huge difference to enjoy it more. As it is shallow, 1meter depth and kids enjoy to play there, but temperature could be improved. But we also have to think of ecological aspects.

I liked everything, from the staff welcoming us when we arrived at the hotel (with cold drinks and a special kids check-in, which my son loved a lot) to the end of our holidays. All the staff were polite and tried their best to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Our special thanks are to Alexandra and Pankaj, who served us breakfast. They were always friendly and very attentive to all our needs/ requests. All our family enjoyed our holidays and left with a wish to get back.

A proper 5-star hotel, with excellent welcoming at the entrance and reception. Beautiful building, renovated and maintained, surrounded by an even more beautiful golf course and natural areas. Plenty of things to do, including for young kids.

The quality of food and service in the restaurants (excluding breakfast) was very disappointing. Even more so when you consider the prices that are super high for Portugal.

Diversified breakfast and friendly staff together with wonderful and well treated surrounding environment. The room was very large and comfortable. Possibility to know about the past history of the place in some nearby buildings. Some sculptures and paintings displayed in the corridors and public areas of the hotel. Free access to the spa that includes a very large pool.

The room was reserved well in advance but some instructions given about its decoration for a special romantic occasion were lost. It was necessary to wait at the lobby to have it ready but the decoration and welcome gift was well under the expectations taking the level and quality of the hotel. It was also difficult to understand why the room was with such a limited view when in the second day of the stay the hotel was empty, reason why the breakfast was not buffet but "a la carte".

The room is very conformable, the breakfast is amazing, the kids club and playground outside are spacious and full of diverse equipment for all ages and the staff was really friendly.

The water in the inside pool should have been warmer; They should also alert that there is no staff at the kids club, only on busy holidays time; The property should alert the clients that there is on ongoing construction on the site and that there is construction noise for basically almost all the rooms from 8am until 8pm, every week day.

Amazing staff, they will go the extra mile, we arrived at 1030 and got our room straight away. This property is extraordinary with the best gym I have seen in a hotel that category. Asian food restaurant was unique, the breakfast was fantastic. Great location for Sintra and Cascais. Very pet friendly, my dog loved his tipi. I sincerely recommend this quiet and beautiful place.

The tapas restaurant. We arrived very late which did not seem to please the waitress. She was not that friendly and we were rushed through the whole dining process. I had asked for mixed vegetables, I got a mixed salad instead but for the price of the former. Food was not bad, but for a place like that, only satisfactory. No comparison to the Asian restaurant.
