The room was spacious and bright with a big bathroom, a kitchenette, and espresso machine. There's a small garden which our room didn't open onto, but we were welcome to use. It's on a quiet street close to shops, a produce store, restaurants and the train station.

Paid parking off site. It's expensive, but you can leave a car there as long as you want.

It was clean. Had a nice decor. Was well equiped. Good option for a small group of people. The staff was very nice and friendly.

No mirrors. The window blinds did not close properly. The fridge was very small. Parking was hard, but the staff gave us options so they made up for that.

Great location,5 minutes from train station, close to restaurants & shopping. The office staff printed our boarding passes without charge. Well appointed modern kitchens and bathrooms(2 kitchens & 2 bathrooms on our floor to service 6 bedrooms). Wifi worked well . Given warm welcome and tour @ check-in. Staff spoke English. Staff recommendations for dining and tourist attractions were excellent. Individually controlled A/C or heat in each room, also nice to open the window for fresh mountain air. Complimentary tea appreciated.

We noticed that the floor in the bedroom wasn’t level so felt a slight loss of equilibrium when getting out of bed. Rooms not very sound-proof but most guests were very considerate.

Tidy rooms and well equipped kitchen with nice views. Modern and clean bathroom, and very close to the city centre. Walking distance to restaurants and shops without the noise of the busy street close by. Very quiet and serene. The lady at reception gave us some tips about transport and the sights around Sintra, and was welcoming and friendly. Great communication throughout and excellent, detailed care. Would definitely recommend.

The beds and pillows aren't the most comfortable, but not too bad.

Excellent location, right in the centre of the old town. Very close to the station and the city busses servicing main tourist attractions. There are plenty of little shops around, so it is easy to get supplies. On the street there is also excellent restaurant. Place is basic, with fairly small kitchen, but big enough to allo some cooking. Staff was very helpful and friendly. For the price that was an excellent option.

Bathroom had a very bed smell. It might be due to the old pluming. It might just part of staying in the old town. Solution was to keep window open all the time and door closed.

Great place - easy accessible. Clean place, well maintained. Enough space. Friendly and well communicating host providing useful hints regarding everything needed. (Restaurants, shopping, parking...). Which made the difference. Good location, easy to find. Highly recommended.

Kitchen equipment was ok, rather "so - so". One glass for wine for 3 rooms apartment as example... The free internet was provided, yet with rather limited stability and poor speed / capacity. Not a big deal for folks having mobile data plans, yet rather cumbersome for people in need of normal connection. Still - overall experience very, very good.

We stayed for a number of nights, the staff were welcoming and accommodating and the studio flat was clean, the garden was lovely with artificial grass, chairs, table and benches. Beds were a little firm for us and although the studio flat was spacious there were minimal cooking facilities which were behind two cupboard doors, no toaster, oven or kettle and the microwave grill was not effective. Available expresó coffee machine with two complementary coffee pods and milk. The shower was very powerful and lots of space to put clothes. No sofa but was small bistro table with two chairs to sit to have meals. Studio flat was very well located in the historical centre. Check in and out was very easy and our flat was cleaned half way through with clean bedding and towels. Unfortunately we found the flat quite noisy, with loud voices in the middle of the night coming from upstairs which woke us on a few nights. Lovely place to stay , close to all main attractions.

Great location and cute room. I enjoyed the stay, and honestly I was not in the room much since there was so much to see in Sintra. I loved hearing the birds at night. It was very kind for staff to come in and tidy up each day. :)

The pounding footsteps of the T-Rex staying above me was a bit of an annoyance. Also, it would be nice if 2 coffee pods were refreshed each day. If a guest gets 2 pods staying one night- what about 2 for each night's stay after? If I checked out and checked back in again- I would have had 2 coffee new pods for my morning coffee (included in the night's stay- not an additional charge). Just a little something that would make a stay that much better.

The location was phenomenal! The unit itself was very clean with recycling disposal in the apartment. I was there for four nights so staff came in and cleaned after the second night. Internet was great! The beds were very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!

As I was in Portugal for one month, access to laundry facilities would have been nice. If you wanted laundry done, it was going to cost you $15 EU. Too steep for 5 or 6 items of clothing.

I really enjoyed my stay at Villas de Cintra. The apartment is nicely furnished, It was in the center of Sintra, 5 minutes from the nearest castle. We have everything that we needed - kitchen with microwave and all utensils, small sofa to relax in the evening with wine and book. The hotel staff was helpful and there was no problem to check-in in the late afternoon, evening. I do recommend the stay at this location.
