The location was wonderful- right on the camino. The shower was hot and had great pressure and the staff was super kind and helpful. I was able to secure an incredible last minute reservation for dinner because of the help. My room was also dark and the hotel was quiet. Overall, I feel confident in recommending it.

The only downside I experienced was the bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped. That said, I did have a cut on my back which didn't help.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Camino. It's an older hotel, rooms are worn, but the room was OK. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had some nice souvenirs you could buy there. Breakfast was good.

Did not like the mustard-yellow toilet and bidet bowls. The shower had a glass half-width wall. The drain didn't slant and was in the middle of the shower, so water flooded the whole floor.

The amazing ceiling high doors onto the terrace - the view was AMAZING of the church on the hill. I slept all night with the doors open enjoying the crisp breeze and slept like a baby Easy to jump back on the Camino in the morning

NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL - but early morning construction (my own fault by keeping those doors open all night) But basically there wasn’t anything I didn’t love about this place

stunning little hotel, I had view of the church on top of the hill from one window and the estuary from the other. great little restaurants in old streets just round the corner and free parking not far away. comfortable and clean bed, and Portuguese style room not too shiny just comfy and nice. easy access into historic parts of the town

I like everything about this place and will come again and recommend everyone I know to come here too

The staff was so very helpful! I had left something behind in another town and they were so helpful in making phone calls for me to get it back. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel so we could sightsee before we left town later in the afternoon.

Nothing! I had a spacious room with a comfortable bed. Lots of hot water in the bathroom.

The location was good, the bed was comfortable, and the view from the room was very nice. There was a desk in the closet, both very convenient. Good water pressure.

The bathroom shower had one of those open half glass dividers, and water all over the entire floor of the bathroom. The tile was very slippery and it was actually quite inconvenient.

Incredible location with sea view, close to restaurants and cafes. On the way from the Camino. The receptionist was very nice, very nice breakfast, room was big. I would definitely stay there again. One of the best places I've stayed in the Camino

The only thing I would complain about is that it can be very noisy if the room is facing the street

Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We had a view of the river and were able to walk to all of the sights of the city. The included breakfast was satisfying enough and there were great restaurants nearby, including gelato. I recommend staying here for a visit to the city or for a night’s rest from the Camino.

I want to say how pleased and satisfied I was with the accommodations. I stayed here one night on my Portuguese Coastal Camino pilgrimage in October 2022. Arriving at the front door and buzzing in or calling their phone number, someone was always quick to answer. After confirming reservations, I was given keys, wifi password and a thorough explanation of the room and all the available facilities for my use. The bed was made up with clean sheets. The communal rooms ie kitchen, dining room, bathrooms and gathering room were all spotlessly clean, well- stocked and inviting. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. They answered any and all questions I had, such as where is the nearest restaurant, café, grocery store, and pharmacy. I highly recommend staying here if you ever have the opportunity. I look forward to coming back and enjoying their hospitality once more. Don S.
