Reception staff weren’t very cheerful but the cleaning staff and kitchen/bar staff were lovely, the breakfast was great the same every day but plenty of variety for our week stay. The beds are a little firm for my liking and pillows very thin but that’s a personal preference thing! Loved having my bed made every day and the pool was great after a day of exploring this beautiful island. The island people are fantastic and if you need a cab ask for Roberto he speaks great English and took us on a day tour for a great rate with lots of knowledge.

The hotel is a little way out of town, 35min walk it was ok for me but my older sister found it a bit much on the hotter days as uphill on the way home. It’s not a very pretty structure it needs more trees to soften the concrete monstrosity and maybe some shade sails around the outdoor eating area instead of umbrellas which don’t shade much (constructive criticism)

location is perfect! close to the supermarket, close to the antenna site, close to the Vila do Porto centre. rooms are large and full of light! I got the apartment and also had a wonderful terrasse. clean and equipped with air conditioning. staff available 24h!

I am a bit picky with croissants and coffee...not my favorite ones - but it could be me...:)

The property has a really nice pool to relax and cool down after a day of hiking or at the beach. The breakfast is amazing, it was more than we expected and the food was fresh and well prepared.

Although the rooms are very comfortable, some areas of the hotel building need to be better maintained and others should be remodeled The water pressure at the shower should be improved.

A great location for a quiet stay. Excellent staff, good all you can eat breakfast. However, it would be nice if coffee was available all day for guests. Facility is kept clean and the staff are amazing.

Located far from restaurants, stores etc if you don’t have a vehicle. It’s a 35 to 50 minute walk to local shops and restaurants. Facility is starting to look run down since my last stay nine years ago.

Very strange property. Big parking space in front on the entrance, great view over the fields. Friendly staff, regular cleaning.

Breakfast - not enough fruits. Ordered Caesar salad during the lunch time for 7 EUR, the worst salad I had in a while. Dry bits of chicken, bacon with a lot of fat, tiny bit of cheese and mayo. I think because there is no competition on the island the management of the hotel doesn’t want to make it better.

Traveling with My 1 year old and arriving early, check in wasn’t for a decent amount of time but they were able to thankfully get Me a room ready within a hour and a half. Comes with breakfast. Has a bar and food available for lunch or dinner. There is a kids room which I enjoyed. Not far of a walk from the center and was nice to see the animals. Beautiful view from room!

Nice location, slightly out of town centre - about 20min walk and 5min by car to Vila Do Porto, but also about 15min by car towards the north coast. Nice view from the room, very friendly staff

Nice hotel not far from the center of city center. Facilities are very good. Nice pool and outfit area . Bar works till 11 pm. Breakfast is not overcrowded. Great view from the balcony.a lot of parking space.

Fabulous place, great staff, perfect location for what we needed. Apartment rooms were PERFECT for our family of 3 (two adults and one 10 yr old). GORGEOUS sunset views at night. Even saw a baby calf born in the field right outside our room :)

My only and I mean ONLY complaint was that we stayed in the apartment section and it was a hike to get out to our car b/c there's no exit other than than the main one which made it a chore to bring in groceries, etc.

Property is well maintained, pool is sparkling clean and there is a local parrot welcoming you! Staff very helpful

Resturant was closed however there is light food available at the bar. Ice was a scare commodity but sufficient.
