The location is very convenient for a short stay, if u wanna be close to the airport to avoid LA traffic. Airport shuttle is a great help as well.

The first time I stayed, there was no window in the room but the second stay was better with a view of outside. The lady in front desk was very patient with a customer who insisted on his request/argument for like 20 minutes or so, while there was a long queue wating behind him but as soon as he left and it was my turn and when I just asked if it’s possible to change our room to 2 single beds if available, she quickly answered as no and acted very impatiently for my second question which lasted less than 1 min in total, showing the long line as an excuse. I believe all the customers should be treated equally, regardless of their nationality, gender, etc.

Hyatt Place is very conveniently located to LAX International and is the only hotel in its location and price bracket that offers free airport shuttle and free breakfast - and both were excellent. Most impressive of all was the size and cleanliness of the room. I have stayed in five star hotels that are not as spacious, well designed and clean! My experience was very positive indeed!

We stayed here the night of the Hollywood/Santa Monica evacuations. When we arrived there was a really really big queue and we thought we would be there for hours. They blitzed through it in no time, with smiles for a very freaked out clientele who had to evacuate, free water, and helpful information. It was pretty impressive to watch. Very grateful for them. The room was really nice, spotlessly clean and modern, the staff are exceptional and the free shuttle bus was right there outside and got us to the terminal in no time. This was a really great hotel experience on what was a pretty unorthodox night.

Despite this, the rooms were well sound proofed

Ability to use facilities like swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym after checking out (even if for a couple of hours) would be good especially when waiting for a night flight. But they did explain it well in that you are no longer a hotel guest after check-out and hard to be liable for your safety.

It was all around a smooth stay , very convenient, and was also able to stay in the same room since I booked more dates. I only booked one night to get the feel for the hotel, location, and how far away it was from different spaces but all around convenient with the different restaurants, my room was right by the elevator ,and easy parking as well. Aija , I believe her name is she was very helpful, easy going, and also I was playing music and she called and just gave me a heads up versus here in Washington they would've tried kicking me out

Stayed overnight to catch early flight from LAX. Clean and quiet room. Check-in and out was very easy. 30min free parking available for check in. Several of the car rental places are within easy walking distance to hotel also. Breakfast was good, but not as large as others we've stayed in for comparable price. Shuttle to airport was easy/quick (leaves approx every 20mins).

We’re over 65 and wanted to break the long flight home from London to Brisbane, Australia. We spent 2 nights here. The room was a great size with King bed (comfortable)and also a sofa. We enjoyed the view of the runway. There are was a little noise from planes but didn’t stop us from sleeping. Breakfast was ok, a few hot dishes including scrambled egg, cereal, fruit etc. the staff were great, always friendly and willing to help. We had a few drinks at the bar and ate there both nights. Food was good but expensive. There was a Starbucks next door which was good for a morning latte! We had a late flight home and there was no problem leaving our bags when we went out for the day!

The automated message from Booking.com gave us the wrong phone number to call for airport shuttle and said you had to call for shuttle to pick up at airport. (This was very confusing)The hotel message said which shuttle to get on and didn’t say you had to call shuttle. The airport message was correct. When we arrived by airport the shuttle dropped us at back of hotel (which hotel message said would happen) Better signage to show way to back entrance would have been helpful and easy to do! Lower prices for meals would be great!

Room and public areas are quite clean. Quiet room. Good quality food for both included breakfast and other meals. Helpful staff.

The room's wardrobe does not have room to hang a full-length coat or jacket, it's only high enough for shirts. I see no reason for placing the hanger rod this way. The shuttle to the airport did not operate on a predictable schedule, so that we waited 40 minutes for it to leave and almost missed our flight.

I needed a place to stay by the airport for a very short night. I chose this hotel based on its location and the room rate. My room had everything I could wish for for a quick overnight stay. The shuttle was waiting for me at 4 o’clock in the morning and the driver was very kind and helpful.

The room (two Queen beds) was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the included breakfast was good and offered lots of choice. The airport shuttle service worked really well for us. Would stay again.

Slightly inconvenient that the drop-off area in front of the hotel was closed off. Friend had to quickly pull up on a narrow side street each morning and evening to pick us up and drop us off. The airport shuttle drops off in a parking building and the signage to the hotel lobby was poor. However this was a very minor negative. Everything else was great!
