Our business made me and my wife stay at this hotel longer than we planned. The hotel is old and in need of refurbishment, but the staff tries to keep it as clean and comfortable as possible.

When we went for a swim in the pool, I told my wife that it would be nice to renovate the place. We swam in the pool only once! Construction workers arrived the next day and started the renovation. For three weeks we lived without a pool. Next time I will be more careful in choosing the wish. If I knew that I was only entitled to one wish, then ask fate to win the Megamillion Jackpot, and not repair the pool. ;-) Pool is closed.

It was a very nice little motel style of property. Rooms were very spacious and you could tell that some upgrades have been completed including the floors and the all important bathroom. The rooms (we had 3 in total) were all spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious and bed was super comfy. The hotel exceeded our expectations and would stay again as it was perfect location for an event we were attending.

The arrival was a bit odd as it was the middle of the afternoon (about 2.30pm) and we had to talk throuhg the night screen which was a bit awkward and did not give the best first impression as we all thought instantly it might not be a safe hotel! They had a nice reception area but it was locked. I would strongly recommend to the owner that the reception is opened up during the day as this was the only negative of our entire experience.

Person at front desk was very polite and accommodating. Asked for first floor room, it took him a minute but found one for me. Room was clean, looks like they are in process of updating, Floor was new, freshly painted, bathroom fixtures were new, furniture was older but clean and working. Property was clean, leaves were falling but I always saw someone sweeping them up. More than I expected for the price. Checkout same as check in, very polite and helpful.

Very quiet, bed and sheets were super clean .no signs of bugs which is always a plus. Check in with super easy match the pictures. Close to stores and gas stations.

The only thing that could have been better was the showerhead was kind of rusty. The TV was outdated and the screen was slightly static. I didn’t, though I had connected my HDMI to the TV worked perfectly fine.

The room was very nice and appears to have been recently renovated. Everything was very clean (kudos to housekeeping!) and in great condition. The bed was extremely comfortable, so we slept soundly. The room was a great value for a reasonable price.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We were completely satisfied.

Clean, quiet, comfortable stay. Great place to lay your head. Every possible channel on tv available. Pool crystal clear. Mexican restaurant next door.

Great stay, but wifi hard to access. Didn’t have any access the next morning. No breakfast or food available. Vending machines only. No exercise equipment. For exercise have to do laps around hotel.

There wasn’t anything and nobody let me know what the internet was and password, where the laundry facilities were, and or any information about the restaurant. It would be nice to have a sheet of paper, like a little welcome letter in each room that explains all this and whatever else to your customers.

It was a clean hotel. It was also quiet and a good location. Everyone was friendly.

It would've been nice to have towel hangers and more electrical outlets.

Newly remodeled rooms, very friendly staff. Last 2 hotels I stayed at didn't have ice machines that worked and this one did. Property is about 15 minutes from legoland, 45 depending on traffic to disney (when we went it's was 1.5 hrs due to wrecks). About an 1.5 hrs to any beach as well. We went to Vero Beach.

APRIL 8-10 2022 ROOM 219 WAS SUPER CLEAN!!! CONVENIENTLY LOCATED AND VERY AFFORDABLE!!! We were there for the Lakeland Sun and Fun Air Show which was amazing. Definitely 100% better than the Fort Lauderdale, FL Air show. We just needed a safe, clean and affordable place to sleep as we would not be in the room much. The WiFi worked and the amenities were basic. The room was nicely decorated and the best thing was that it was SUPER CLEAN "THANK YOU SONIA" and the bed was very very comfortable!!! Sheets smelled fresh and had NO stains!!! The pool looked very nice but unfortunate we didn't have time to enjoy it. They actually even called me twice to confirm my arrival and to see if I needed anything else since I had asked for a roll up bed, which they do not have but provided a room with a sofa bed (twin). I plan on staying there again in the future and recommend anyone that just needs a basic clean room to stay there. Also found Pizzano's Pizza about 5 mins from Royale Inn and that Pizza was one of the best we have had and there are thousands of pizza places in Miami and Fort Lauderdale FL we have tried through the years.

The only thing that I didn't like that needs to be cleaned is the shower head as it had some black mold on it. But hard water and other situations naturally can cause that situations. A little cleaning product will take care of that problem in room 219. The shower curtain had two small tears at the seam but no big deal! The sofa bed is not that comfortable, so get 2 dbl beds if available. But as a sofa it was very nice to able to sit there and not on our bed. You do have to ask for the sheet SET if you need to use the sofa bed.
