For us the location was very convenient. The room was very comfortable and clean. We did like the classic style of the hotel. I am not very fond of the minimalist style that is fashionable today. The style staff at the reception was very kind. There was a young lady who knows exactly was guests need and was born to do this job. MlThe management should listen to what she says.

Breakfast is only continental and to be perfectly honest not a good one. At least you can have something. One street down there is a diner with very good choices. This hotel could be a very good one if it would provide something hot for breakfast. This is its biggest downside. If they do not fix it it will loose its guests.

The staff is very kind I enjoy staying here and whenever I come back this is the first hotel I feel comfortable at and have a very pleased with this thing I just didn't like how someone knocked on my door at 12:00 midnight looking for someone else that was the situation I didn't like but I told the lady that this person's not here anymore and this is my room so she understood the woman that was looking for the other person that was that before me but it was a very wonderful State and I enjoy it and moving forward this is the place that I always come to when I'm in Houston and always there and always stay there

The staff are very nice and you're very comfortable and very pleasant stay and moving forward if I ever come back this should be the hotel I stand

Certainly one of the Best Medium-Price value deals in the Houston Hobby area. FYI. There are a lot of "dumpy" low cost BRAND NAME HOTELS which don't measure up to their logo. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!! It is a TRUE VALUE in this "overused/abused/run down" former FIRST AIRPORT for civilians in the HouTex Metro... The Staff showed extreme COMPASSION in addition to their WELL-KEPT HOTEL and adequate FREE BREAKFAST!! I even saw/witnessed 3 women supervisors & managers meeting one morning OVER A STRAY DOG/unaccounted--for a little DOG --i.o.w. how to find a SAFE PLACE for this tiny WHITE CHIHUAHUA who was LOST in the HOTEL PARKING LOT right next to BUSY INTERSTATE HWY 45...very close to this raging, mucho traffico, INTERSTATE where this little white dog cd easily have DASHED ON TO and DIED!!! In my opinion, these three employees WENT WAY BEYOND DUTY in saving this tiny dog's LIFE and hooking up if the DOG belonged to one of the HOTEL'S GUESTS?!!! WOW! If THEY, the Staff, were trying to SAVE a LITTLE DOG'S LIFE along w/ their OTHER DUTIES, then THINK HOW WELL THE STAFF WD. TREAT YOU, if YOU had a problem while staying HERE!!! HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THAT CONCERN IN A HOTEL BEFORE? I was AMAZED when I brought it to THEIR ATTENTION that there was a LITTLE LOST DOG RUNNING AROUND THEIR SOUTHSIDE PARKING LOT!! They said: "Oh, yeah Dan--thanks for telling us--and they were already ON TOP OF IT!! :-) I was "blown away" BY THAT!!! It blew my mind to actually SEE a Hotel Staff who CARED about a LOST DOG!! GREAT NIGHT'S SLEEP, btw, especially since it is SO CLOSE to I-45 "Going to GALVESTON" Southbound I-45 is AS BUSY AS IT GETS with all the folks wanting to go down to GALVESTON'S BEACHES.

There was nothing I didn't like. (even the BREAKFAST did the job--but it wasn't a HAMPTON INN great breakfast--but they "got U goin' in the A.M."--with a Starter Breakfast until you got down the Road to a good lunch to fill the empty space in ur tummy... Like "FISH or STEAK" for your Lunch on beautiful, serene GALVESTON ISLAND, TEXAS. Get the picture?

Breakfast was just a bag breakfast, I was able to take it with me, and they were very nice and gave me an extra!

I would have liked some coffee or juice, maybe a breakfast other than a bag breakfast.

For this was an excellent location since we wanted something close to NASA. Some people said that the Hotel was outdated but to be perfectly honest I like very much when a hotel follows classic style. I hate these minimalist new fashion hotels. I love these ones which might be something of a dying breed. Breakfast is not really a breakfast but you can have something to eat at least. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Stuff at the reception is amazingly helpful. A nice lady was very embarrassed of the breakfast they were offering and explained it was due to pandemic but were already working on setting up a proper selection. Lobby is spacious.

There is no minibar but instead they provide a shop by the reception. It would be great to offer a bit wider selection.

Four of us spent a night here after arriving at Hobby airport and before heading south to Galveston for a cruise. We paid $160 for two rooms for four people, very reasonable. Free WiFi, breakfast, and shuttle. Beds were comfortable. To be clear it was no frills and I probably wouldn't have gone walking around looking for dinner but I would for sure book this again in a similar situation! We ordered in UberEats from a local Pho place and had a very comfortable night.

Slight flood smell and unimpressive breakfast. However, for the value ($40/pp in our party and that included the shuttle), I have no real complaints. I would definitely stay again if I was just coming for a night.

Clean. Nice staff.

Breakfast was blah. No syrup for waffles. Your options were cereal, a waffle, yogurt, or oatmeal. Has a breakfast station set up that is empty so pretty much for decoration. They're just changing over so things will change I'm sure but overall still 8 out of 10 for the money.

Rooms were clean and comfortable

No Hot BREAKFAST. People were looking for a hot meal,a male worker with dirty gloves on fixing People waffles we know how to cook,I know they were dirty,he was on second floor pulling trash,no ice on second floor, Sunday no hot food that's not right the muffins were old and wet,nasty The coffee was on point.waffle nothing to put on them...sad.......

Breakfast was fully adequate for my need. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I was impressed with the helpfulness of the front desk with information and setting up my transportation to the airport. It rained but they kept me dry. The car was prompt and the driver courteous.

The restaurant was not reopened after the COVID19 pandemic.

the staff and checking us in was awesome. They made us feel welcome and very accomadating, because we had just left a cruise and we needed to rest. She found us a quiet room which was awesome.

Unfortunately this is a non smoking hotel and for some reason the people on the 5th floor decided they were going to smoke anyway. There is even a deposit charged for those who choose to smoke and it did not deter these people. But the cleaning staff seem to be able to clean up after the smell of it because it was better after the cleaning staff cleaned, but the same people were there and smoking, not just cigarettes either. it was a very pleasant hotel other than that.
