Not far from downtown and easy check in. The room was nice and clean.

Homeless around. One was on our floor as we were going down. We didn't know at first but he appeared odd with his mannerisms. While eating across the street from the hotel we saw him walking around the street periodically.

The guy who did late night checkin was great! He explained everything well and answered all of our questions! Room was clean and spacious! Breakfast was great! Waffles, eggs, sausage and bacon and much more

Nobody was cleaning the breakfast tables! They were all dirty, we ended up cleaning our own. Maybe have someone check more often, we never saw anyone come clean up the whole time we were eating. Time for a deep clean of the chairs/tables too! Please Move the sofa!! It’s right in front of the lobby door! It’s a pain for customers bringing their luggage or the cart through!

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The patio/ sitting area outside was very nice as well. The staff were nice and accommodating to the best of their abilities. Didn't get to try the breakfast but it looked good. The room was a nice size too and the stay was good.

The wait for check in. We got to the hotel at 1:45 and was told there was no checking in until 3. Another couple had been waiting since 11am to check in but the staff eventually got us checked in around 2:45.

The hotel was clean and the location was good.

We were only given 1 set of towels per person. We found that we needed additional towels. The breakfast was not very well stocked one of the mornings that we were there. The staff member in charge of the breakfast area was sitting in the back talking to another employee and it was not work related. She needed to be restocking items. I was also very disappointed that they did not have a guest laundry.

I wasn't expecting much, because Best Western is a value brand. However, it was surprisingly nice! The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good (albeit, very very busy). All in all, it was equivalent to staying at a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn.

It was pretty good. It would have been nice to have another elevator - there were a lot of large groups there, and we had to wait for the elevator on several occasions. Also, cereal on the breakfast buffet would have been nice for my kids. But we were really pleased overall.

Staff was lovely had no issues. Super close to downtown SA, more like a 7 minute drive. Breakfast was delicious. Small pool but clean. And their patio was nice even to enjoy your outdoor breakfast.

They do have one elevator so just be patient. It is quite run down, some things are stained and they need to be replaced. For the price it’s okay.

We love the location, so convenient to everything! The rooms are extra large, the beds are comfy, and there's plenty of hot water...with great pressure! Breakfast is a good assortment of hot items, as well as the usual cold fare. Coffee ready and available 24/7 is a real plus!

We were 2 older couples, and appreciate quiet. However, a family with a noisy toddler was put into the room adjoining ours...and the door between provided no sound barrier. We talked to the front desk person, who was swamped, and we talked to the neighbors, but there was a language breakdown. One of the housekeepers going by stepped in to provide clarification. Thanks to her, they were totally quiet after that and we were able to rest well!

The breakfast was good and the room felt clean. The staff was friendly. I was gratefully to the person who turned in my new telephone cord to the front office. After I drove off about 5 minutes into my drive I called and it had already been turned in the front office.

No complaints.

The location is super convenient to the airport, the Alamo, the Van Gogh Experience, and many other points of interest. Area felt safe. Room was comfortable. Liked coffee being available any time.

We have stayed before, and both times (6weeks apart) we have found the elevator to be shaky and jerking...our 13 year old granddaughter refused to ride it, and only used stairs (several floors) every time. Wish there was a built-in auto nightlight in the room so we wouldn't have to leave bathroom light/fan on all night. Breakfast ends too early (9:00), especially on the weekends when there are twice as many people staying at the hotel...and twice as many to be fed! Did not care for Fox News 24-7 in the lobby. Leave it on a station like HGTV or old sitcoms that don't blast fear and negativity.

The room size was good, bed was comfortable, and it was very clean especially when checking out the housekeeping did a great job on removing sheets and cleaning rooms.

They didnt have extra sheets and blanket for the pullout sofa in the room and in the area where the sofa was there was no tv just in the other bedroom.
