- great location near a ton of restaurants (and fine to uber to Old San Juan etc for activities, or walkable to hotels nearby that are usually pick up/drop off for tours) - no keys to worry about losing or deactivating, just access codes for the doors - they let me use a quick shower after check out since I had a water activity in the morning and then had to head to a flight

- it wasn't clear from the booking description that I had booked a room without an attached bathroom, and had to pay extra to change upgrade to a private connected bathroom - the front desk is only manned 10am-4pm, a bit of a challenge for early check out, late check in, or comfort storing bags - not a problem for me but for others - I was fine with the residential neighborhood but am sure upon first glance some people used to high end hotels may thing it's a bit rough ( felt safe)

The room was clean and comfortable, but a bit on the small side.

It was far from many of the restaurants in the area, and the shower was cold.

Cute room, nice staff they even let us check in early, the facility was clean, they provided clean beach towels, the kitchen was a plus. I would stay again

Loved the location, easy to get to the beach and a lot of great restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was very modern and clean and had a shared kitchen space and also provided beach towels and sunscreens. The room was perfect for our stay and they even offered us a free parking space. I really enjoyed the stay!!

We stayed at La Buena Vida in Calle Loiza and the experience was very nice. Close to all hot spots in San Juan. The room was clean and charming and we had everything we needed. The location is excellent (2min walk to Loize street where all local restaurants and bars. I recommend to try Egg Joint for breakfast really yummi!). Its also 10min walk to a beautiful beach called Ocean Park where u can chill and drink the best Pina Colada. 18min walk to La Placita (where the bars dont close until 6am!) and 18min walk to Condado Beach, 15min drive to Old San Juan and 10min drive to Airport. It was very convenient to choose this place because of its location. I highly recommend anyone who like to visit San Juan to stay at La Burna Vista

Great & cozy place. Very clean & beautifully decorated. I left very impressed. Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, Condado & La Placita. Absolutely all stuff was extremely professional, friendly & helpful. I really enjoyed staying there and hoping to come back soon. Thank you La Buena Vida Team!

Great Place to Relax Eco Friendly and clean very spacious accommodations. Really makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. Rooms are Nice and Cozy shared open kitchen with open Sun roof breakfast area. Great eating spots in walking distance of property. Definitely will stay again next time in area.

The room was very comfortable and beautiful. The hotel was very close to many restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Overall, an ideal place to stay.

Sound carries very easily - some of the other guests were very loud at night (slamming doors, yelling) which was very easy to hear. Not a huge deal, however.

This place is a TREASURE!!! Basically like a hostel….the kitchen is so fabulous, so Many areas for relaxing, the rooms are so cozy and cute! Could use an extra thicker blanket and maybe an option to close the clear window to then bathroom in your room but otherwise SO DANG CUTE!

The location was 2 minutes walking from multiple restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It is 8 minutes from the beach and within walking distance from multiple great spots in San Juan. The hotel stay greatly contributed to my favorite vacation ever and I hope to one day return.
