The hostel looked beautiful. I stayed in the 4 women bedroom and we had our own private bathroom we all shared. One wall was painted a dark green which I liked all of the decorative design. I would get back from the beach around 2-3pm and always saw the nice girl with short black hair cleaning and she did a great job.

The only con like most hostels is the noise. That room was right next to the kitchen where there was a swing door that you could hear open and close. The door in the room also closed loudly. Also wish they had the curtains on the beds so it would be more private

The property was really clean and well managed. It’s located in a great location surrounded by many restaurants, gym and supermarket near by. A 15 minute walk to the beach or a 5 min bus ride. The nightlife is also nearby which I would highly suggest.

Due to the beach goers not properly cleaning of their beachwear unfortunately their is a small beach mite problem. Besides that you do receive a very clean bed.

After 8 trips to PR, I can assure you that this hostel is the best. Its so clean and quiet, you really feel like home. The bathrooms were so clean, and the beds are so comfortable. Its in a walking distance to ocean park and la placita de Santurce. Plenty of good restaurants around. I checked it late so the staff were very professional in guiding me how to do a self check-in. The terrace was super nice too, you can tan and chill.

The wifi wasn't so stable

Loved the kitchen its a decent size with decent pots and pans it even has a coffee machine. The hostel is really cute and has a lot of different areas available to work in or just socialize in the kitchen area or lounge. Its downtown and only a short walk away from La Placita the main nightlife area or a 30 minute walk from a good part of the beach.

1 shower is out of order leaving only 1 for the rooms without a bathroom, but it wasn't busy when i was there so wasn't a problem.

The kitchen was right across the hall from the room with 4 beds (i.e. 2 bunks) and although I arrived past 1:00a.m. there were people in the kitchen talking loudly, so I told them we were trying to sleep. Eventually I slept and I was the last to leave the room. I had to buy my own breakfast at a cafe opposite the hostel. The gal in the office kindly ordered an Uber for me as I don;t have an App. I gave her a hot coffee as thanks. I really liked the quaintness of the hostel but I am an older lady and feel it is more suited for the younger travellers.

All the back & forth emails prior to my very late arrival since the hostel required photo of Driver's License, etc. They had to send me an instructional video with code to access the front door & my room.

Everything was nice. The self check in is easy. Just that I had a problem because they forgot to send me the code and I had to wait outside until they had my call. Since it was Sunday night it took a long time for them to answer the phone but after that they sent me the code right away. Everything in nice and clean and it feels cozy. I really recommend this place. The staff should double check they send all the information if the guest is going to make self check in, but I understand that can happen to everyone.

I loved the people and the overall stay. You meet some amazing people staying at this hostel and the people who worked there were extremely kind. Definitely would stay again next time I visit Puerto Rico!

There were times where the water pressure or temperature wasn’t the best, but they were on top of it. Also, it’s a bit harder to find outlets before you go to bed, so I would definitely recommend to charge your phone prior to going to bed.

the staff are absolutely amazing. the kitchen is expansive and well-stocked for cooking. the bed is quite comfortable! there are several lovely common areas to chill, work, read, etc. the rooftop is awesome!

the shower in the 16-bed dorm only has two settings-burn your skin off hot or cold. lol … the other showers don’t get hot at all. but it’s not a big deal. the 16-bed room can be a little loud on the weekend cuz it’s right next to the street, but earplugs usually work well enough to sleep. the other rooms are much quieter though.

A hostel experience is greatly impacted by the other guests which can be hit or miss. This go around, I stayed in the smaller room and some evenings, there were guests open to socializing while others it was not. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is real close to a 24 hour supermarket and a central location in San Juan.

Really the only issue was having an outlet for each person close to your bed. If you were on a top bunk, you were out of luck and had to leave your phone down below. Sometimes there was not enough outlets for everyone in the dorm room.

We found a fun spot for breakfast, 10 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hostel was clean and had great amenities including rooftop to enjoy the evening air. Our private room with bath was cozy and comfortable, with great a/c.

The private bath didn't have hot water in the morning, but I don't mind a cool shower once in a while. My travel companion had a hot shower in a the shared bath.
