EVERYTHING! Friendly staff, amazing pool, access to City Mall and hotel structure. Constantin from Moldova and all other guys working at pool bar are awesome!

Security persons (Xray and etheraz guys). They are cold, emotionless, acting like “important” guys in the building. I didn’t like any of them and I never felt welcome standing next to them. They should smile sometimes because other staff (room service, valets, receptionists are more than smiled 24/7).

We upgraded to a better suite and were very impressed

The main pool is split between a kids side and adult side but the kids pool is only suitable for smaller children under 10 as it is quite shallow for older children(10 plus) When we tried to use the other side with our teenage son aged 12 we were told that this was not allowed as the other side was for adults only so myself and another customer who was very unhappy with this rule complained and they agreed for us to use the larger pool on this occasion.This was the only downside to the hotel and unless they change this rule and make it crystal clear to customers on their website when booking I won’t be staying there again sadly. Hassan on reception during our check in was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean.

The hotel is stylish, very comfortable, and conveniently located above the City Centre Doha shopping mall. It has a beautiful French-inspired café on the ground floor, and we highly recommend purchasing access to the executive lounge, where we indulged in their delicious dinner buffet and happy hour each night. Our room had everything we needed and more: dressing gowns, slippers, iron, coffee machine, separate bath and shower and amazing views. Every single staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and informative. Special mention must be made of the gentleman on the front desk who checked us in on 18.10.2024 (unfortunately we cannot recall his name), as well as Chanceline in the breakfast room, who greeted us with a beaming smile and first class service, and Arzun (we don’t think we have spelt his name correctly) in pool reception. But again, everyone was amazing. They were also very responsive to our questions in the lead up to our stay. Make sure you ask the taxi to take you to the JW Marriott Marquis City Centre, rather than the Marriott Marquis City Centre. They are different hotels (but are close and they have organised a shuttle buggy from one to the other for all the people who get it wrong - like us)! Breakfast, oh my goodness the breakfast! If it’s not included in your package, include it! Every cuisine and dietary requirement is catered for including divine breads, Middle Eastern dips, and freshly squeezed and detox juices. You can also order eggs any way you like them, as well as sweet and savoury crepes. The pool area was huge, beautifully landscaped with lots of different types of lounges and seating areas, including free cabanas. We loved the pool being divided into child friendly and adults only. Also loved the swim bar and the excellent cocktails. We made use of the steam room, sauna, showers, large change room, located near the pool area. Thank you for the fluffy towels, apples, iced face washers and refreshingly cool lemon water!

The executive lounge had a smell of smoke in it because it was close to the smoking lounge.

I recently stayed at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha with my family during a stopover in Doha, and I couldn't have made a better choice. Marriott hotels have always been a reliable option worldwide, and this stay was no exception. Everything about the hotel was excellent. A special thank you to the lady at the reception! We arrived early in the morning, and she kindly arranged a complimentary early check-in for us. While we were enjoying breakfast, she made sure our room was ready. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered amazing views from the window. Our overall experience was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha. Exceptional service, comfort, and hospitality all in one!

A very beautiful and elegant hotel. I would like to thank the hotel manager for choosing the staff. All of them are professional and friendly. They brought me a very beautiful cake on the occasion of my husband’s birthday. Thank you very much. The executive lounge is very beautiful and the person in charge of the lounge is a very polite person. The number of guests was very large and the staff were very professional. We did not feel any delay in any request. The food in the lounge is very beautiful. I will repeat the visit very soon.

I arrived very early hours in the morning. The first receptionist told me my room wasn't ready for me to check in yet. When I asked if I could change in the gym locker room for my upcoming meeting later in the day, that receptionist said that the gym wasn't open yet. Then I realised that both things he said were not true, because the second receptionist I was passed onto was much more polite, she said that my room was ready, and that the gym was not closed, but it was open 24 hours!

Amazing stuff, very attentive and kind. Thank you each of you for your support and smile. The hotel and room was very clean also big thank you to Tariq for perfect service every day. The room and bathroom big size however very noisy which made impossible to relax and sleep well. What I like is breakfast with options and choices. What I distilled that water in the swimming pools was very cold not possible to swim even though it was 30 daggers outside 🤨

Decorations are amazing .. the rooms were large enough comparing to the price .. clean and quit hotel.. also the staff are very friendly all of them in the reception, restaurant, and others .. I would also like to thank Sofia for considering our special request and following up with it.

Location is amazing , City Center mall access and sea view at same time and hotel is luxury with reasonable price. break fast are amazing , the best breakfast buffet ever , very divers with amazing presentation. the room is wide and big and above my expectation. staff are great with quick action I would like to thank Mahmoud and Mohsen at the reception for great assistance throughout my stay.

pillow are too soft not supporting your neck, I had to use the sofa cushion to support the bed pillow.

Location next to Mall and close to Metro was good. Room size was very good and staff were very helpful. Shower and separate bath were good.

Some of the rooms soft furnishings were in need of replacement. Lamp shade water stained. Cushions thread bare and some stains on carpets.
