The property is a okay tell gorgeous, most definitely one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at in my life

I don’t know where to start…from the off, we were greeted at the car and shown around the Masseria. It is absolutely stunning and tastefully restored. It is even better than what the photos suggest, so you’re in for a lovely treat. The room was so spacious, our own jacuzzi bath and private patio. When we wanted to venture to the communal areas we were welcomed with snacks to accompany our wine. It was a dream stay and we can’t wait to go back.

The ambiance of the masseria was great, the breakfast was delicious, the pool was amazing, the staff super welcoming and attentive. The location is nice and quiet, and also convenient as it allows to discover Lecce’s culinary scene (15 min by car to the city). The property is in a recently renovated medieval structure and looks beautiful. The room design is great too. They got whatsapp communication so everything was easy to arrange.

Nothing, any minor issue we had was dealt with quickly.

Good breakfast selection. Lots of space. Friendly staff. Calm atmosphere. No children policy. Decor and restoration. Views across the fields. Gardens and courtyard.

Lack of signage of hotel on main road and at actual site on side road. Did not like the fact that dogs are allowed in rooms. Slight smell on balcony.

Everything was wonderful. Exceptional staff, excellent interior design and a very unusual building, beautiful gardens and pool. The breakfasts were delicious and quite unexpected in the variety. Lovely restaurant next door too though not open every day.

Wowwww. I am a luxury travel advisor and stay in the best hotels all the time. Masseria Francescani is a very rare gem. Every detail is of incredible taste. The staff, including Rosela, Carlota and Gaetano were all so attentive and joyful. This is the best value I have paid for a hotel of that caliber in a very long time. And the food, inclusive breakfast is incredible and the optional dinner worth every euro. Bravo !!!

We spent a long time looking for the small detail they would have missed. Nothing !

The breakfast was amazing. The grounds are beautifully kept. The rooms were clean and we had a good view of the sunset from our balcony.

It should be obvious from the location, but due to the remoteness you have to drive everywhere. Lecce is approx 15 minutes and has loads of dinner options.

The room, table, view, staff, quiet, calm, spicy pie, HONEY (!) & yoghurt.

Having to fill out breakfast questionnaire 😝 on holiday and receiving constant reminders was not great. Not have a light dinner option was difficult especially off season when everything is closed. Yes Lecce is 20 min away (not 6 as indicated) but at night one would prefer a healthy light dinner option, even in the bedroom. And it was odd when at 8:30 am this morning we returned to our room and the sheets and towels had Ben stripped from the room!??? Never saw this in my life of travel.

Beautiful rooms, excellent service and relaxing atmosphere.

No evening meals meant you had to travel, but knew that in advance. Location is 10km outside of Lecce, but very easy to find. Restaurant arriving next year apparently
