Citizen M does the living room and co-working space in lieu of a lobby wonderfully ... and this location is particularly attractive. Like the connectivity and tablet in the room. Tight quarters but comfortable bed. Staff is helpful, friendly and professional. Outstanding food court a five-minute walk away.

This corner of downtown Los Angeles is transitional, at best. Drug addicts openly using in the street within 3 blocks. Would not walk more than five minutes outside the front door at night and definitely not alone.

The lobby is like an art gallery, hotel is well staffed, well lit and clean. Check in and rooms are fully computerised with self serve options. The orange juice at the breakfast buffet is the best I've ever had in my life, one hundred percent sweet claifornia oranges

The rooms are in a micro format, which WA sok for 1 person and cosy but I think 2 people would struggle. The furnishings could be a bit softer, but I just prefer a more traditional format.

Large and comfortable bed. Lights and blinds could be controlled by ipad, it was really cool!

Location is quite near to Skid Row, a few vagrants outside hotel asking for food and money. It was quite shocking for us.

I loved the setup of the room, especially the smart controls using the iPad. I was also really impressed with the cleanliness of the common areas like the gym or the downstairs seating arrangements. I also really liked that there was a fridge available in the room at that the hotel did not charge a security deposit!! The self check-in is super simple and straight forward and the staff was very helpful in assisting with the check-in process!

There wasn't really anything to complain about regarding the rooms or the hotel itself. A minimal downside might have been some of the adjacent neighborhoods that struggled with homelessness and therefore created a bit of an off putting bus ride from the train station to the hotel even though the location of the hotel was fine!!

Hotel is central and very close to public transport and downtown destinations. I really liked that the hotel itself was very clean, and there was ample seating in the lobby and around the bar. The room is great for a solo traveller, and the bed is massive and extremely comfortable (I like a firm mattress and pillows). The shower is small but well-appointed, and the way the room is divided gives it a sense of privacy. Wifi was great and very reliable.

I’m very used to this area of Los Angeles and know it’s not the safest; there were some folks fighting late at night outside on the second day of my stay. For those visiting the area for the first time, they should be aware that the character of the area changes at night, and they should remain alert if they’re walking around alone or after dark.

At the entrance I was met by guys they were very kind and helped me register. The room is small but very comfortable, very large panoramic windows the view was wonderful, the only thing I missed was a small microwave. The metro is nearby a few steps from the hotel, I also found a Chinese restaurant where you can eat delicious ramen, I walked until 11 at night did not encounter anything dangerous.

Stayed many times in this hotel, its very well postioned to jump in a Uber or park for cheap money. They gym is great, brilliant views. Now they have door security ... even better. I would recomend it.

They have a real issue with guests smoking weed. Our floor stinks of it on many times over 7 days. I think the hotel group needs to get on top of that issue as its not the first time in this hotel or Chicago. Our room was not in great shape, our blinds broken, shower arm not holding fitting. I have to say they could be faster serving at the bar for drinks but thats it.

I like a lot the room itself it appears to sacrifice space (it is a tiny room) for technology and leave just exclusive necessary things, bed and pillows was very comfort and smart room definitely something nice to have. The gym is also very good, the staff in general very kind and the lobby area is very pleasant with a lot of spaces to hang, eat or work. I ordered food several nights and I had no trouble to pick up in the lobby, they had an area for that. For the price, I think it is a great choice! For people that are going to be more outside the hotel and need just a place to sleep and stay at night, take a shower and have their stuff is a very good option. I traveled with my kid for a week to LA and have a blast, my kid enjoys the hotel despite the fact that it is a place more adapted for adults.

Probably the location in downtown is not the best despite the fact that is very centered, at nighttimes seems very insecure a lot of homeless and drugged people. Other thing the prices in the restaurant/bar are way too high, a regular soda is 8USD that not makes sense at all and one day they skip cleaning my room without explanation.

Excellent facilities.

The room is incredibly well designed and compact.. not much room to unpack suitcase, but everything else was excellent. It was sad to see so many homeless people and security/police in downtown LA… but the Citizen M hotel was secure and felt safe.

Stayed at this hotel with my partner for a few nights in downtown LA. The room was very clean, comfortable and the bed was extremely comfy and I loved the easy to use IPad remote which controlled the the whole room such as the lights and TV.

The area was not the best location for tourists, at times felt unsafe when walking around outside the hotel area and mostly used Uber to explore LA outside of downtown LA But was close to Crypto arena which was handy when attempting to catch a basketball game. Hotel was great though, very clean, fun and safe even had security at the door 24/7. I also liked how the hotel had a nice bar and restaurant which was easily accessed by anyone staying at the hotel. Great vibe😀
