Loved the ambiance and history of the place! Super friendly helpful efficient staff. Great location downtown for the events we were attending. Clean quiet room.
An extra $100 a day for parking and amenities. The good deal turned out to be not so good. But kind of what you expect for DTLA. Also, for a large hotel, they don't have much to offer for breakfast. The restaurant is very small, so no tables were available. Waited 15 minutes in line for coffee at the walk-up coffee bar and they were out of muffins, pastries, etc. Only a few chairs to sit down and enjoy coffee... Just know that all the coffee shops in this area of DTLA are closed on weekends! During the week you can go across the street to Starbucks. The hotel should be better prepared on weekends knowing that information.

Love the historic feel and look of it. Beautiful sealings, very friendly and helpful staff. Kids loved walking the halls, seeing and reading the history of the hotel. 100 yrs in service this year.
The only thing I can complain about is the 45 dollars it costs to self park in the hotel parking structure. Or pay 65 for Valet. The room was nice and spacious. The only thing that sucked was that the two double beds were small, not queen size. I'm 6,4 so I felt like I was sleeping in my kids' bed.

I am from Los Angeles, and I have stayed here when I lived here and now I stay here when we are back in LA. The staff is really nice and friendly, and seem happy. The rooms are always cleaned properly. There have been little things that when we call front desk, they are super fast to respond. The parking is 50 dollars a night, but you can go in and out. It feels safe, which is important to us because we have children. They have a restaurant, which food is good. Only thing I wish they had was room service. Lots of persons watch doors in front and in parking lot lobby. I believe this is best hotel for us. Love the history of this hotel, and I hope to keep visiting.
Not many places to walk to close by. Wish they had car service, to drop off nearby places.

The hotel was amazing and beautiful, especially in terms of its architecture. The room was big and comfortable and clean. The facilities are good but a little bit old. There is a gallery inside the hotel which you can see the old picture of events in the past and movie which shoot in this location. The location is close to all public transport, including train stations and buses. It is easy to travel to Disneyland and the outlet. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel with direct access to Disneyland and the Citadel Outlet.
The facilities like swimming pool and gym were good but it is a little bit old and locate underground.

The Biltmore lobby and building boast breathtaking architecture with a rich history, having hosted events like the Academy Awards (Oscars) multiple times. The hotel features four stunning ballrooms that you might be lucky enough to visit. The staff here is truly exceptional—the best I've ever encountered at any hotel—polite, super kind, and genuinely warm. We’ll deeply miss both the place and the wonderful people who treated us so warmly. The Christmas decorations were absolutely amazing, adding to the magical atmosphere. We spent hours exploring the hotel and enjoying its charm. Don’t forget to check out the pool!
- Expensive parking ($50 per night) - The toilet was a bit outdated and showed signs of wear, including rust, which detracted from the overall experience. - The pool's water could be cleaner.

Well, I didn't know the hotel didn't have facilities, such as a concierge and room service. Pretty much felt like we were on our own in that respect. I took ill, and had to see a doctor - asked the front desk, where I was advised to go to emergency care at the local hospital, where security there kindly sent me on to another clinic, as their nn-medical visual assessment of me was that, well, I may not fit in with the local clientelle (transients etc) - I felt the hotel sent me into the wilderness, and to be honest, personal risk.
What there was, was great. However, being new to LA, I really could have used the non-existent brochure stand at the non-existent concierge's desk, and being ill on my last day there, could have used non-existent room service. Oh - and the housekeeping crew could be retrained on timing between knocking and entering a room - and entering the room when do not disturb sign is hanging on the door (a sign we had to ask for at front desk as there wasn't one, was barged in on, to make it necessary)

Building and art and architecture were stunning. Location was perfect, we could walk to a lot of places. Good selection of workout equipment and pool was nice.
Pretty expensive for such a small room. Food in restaurant was so-so. Gym had no staff and no cleaning supplies for wiping down the equipment. Also showers were not clean. Overall seems short staffed. When we left the one bellman was helping someone else and no one else had a key to where our luggage was being stored. Not even security! One man had his Lyft waiting 40 min just so he could get his bag. It was odd.

Good central location in DTLA, great facilities, spacious room and amenities. Shared microwave by vending machine, but not in room. Easy access to the Metro and public transit in general. Security on duty 24-hours per day.
There was no heat in our room; we would turn it up and it would just blow air. No warmth, but it maintained 67-71F, but it was comfortable enough. Be aware that there is a significant homeless problem in the area. Not by the property, as it is well maintained and staffed, but know you won't be going anywhere without encountering someone strung out or unhoused.

+ the location is at downtown, great cafe nearby, nail salon, barber. And great neighborhood, no homeless wandering. + 2 or even 4 bottles of water each day + the shower had great water pressure + impressing from the inside and great staff
- EXPENSIVE parking, please don’t pay 50$ a night there and park across the street in “Pershing Square Garage” for 18$ a night with 24/7 security office and walking distance from the hotel. - Slow WiFi sadly, 1.7Mb/s. I had motels that offered 110Mb/s… - it’s our honeymoon and we expected this level of hotel to give us something nice (as other hotel did) but we didn’t got anything - the shower/bathroom was REALLY small for long room, you have to open the door completely to fit in the toilet and it looked really old and tired

Received a Great room! Being a older Hotel, I was afraid of stuff creaking and making noises. Luckily I had none of those experiences. Hotel is very well maintained, great amenities, and of course almost nothing beats the Location. Overall, amazing value and definitely one of the best hotels in Downtown Los Angeles for its price.
Parking. Price and placement, it was a pain to go down to the elevators, thru Lobby to go back up to the Parking lot and vise versa, and the 45 $ price for that was a bit much.
