We recently stayed at the Livia Valeria Palace for 5 nights during our trip to Rome. The room we had was spacious, clean, and modern. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Manuel who provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. While the location is 30 min from the city center, it wasn't a major issue as the tram 8 stop was just a short walk away.

Fantastic welcome, attention & tips from Manuel throughout the stay, facilities spotlessly clean with daily cleaning, spacious apartment with lofty design and lots of natural light

A few minor things that might be tweaked but that don't really affect the comfort of the stay: no ventilation in the bathroom, no towel racks, lots of light switches some of which don't work and/or seem redundant

Nice area, far from the center, but quietly and quietly, without crowds of tourists. A bus near, which can be 20 minutes drive to the center. The room is very spacious. There is everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Breakfast we prepared ourselves. Nearby there is a store Carrefour". We felt at home. On arrival we were sent a video instruction manual for independent settlement, which is very convenient. The staff is very friendly, help to solve all questions( special thanks Max!) The city of Rome is amazing! Time ran unnoticed. But we will gladly come back again!❤️

Nothing.

Great place for a week in Rome. The swimming pool of course is its biggest asset, but the rooms, the garden and the hotel in general are very nice and comfortable. Reaching Trastevere and the Campo Dei Fiori area is quite easy (20 min) with the bus/tram 8. The staff is very kind and helpful (special shoutout to Manuel in the reception and to the chef). We also had breakfast and lunch at the facilities and it was pretty good and not overpriced. We would love to come back if we visit the city again!

Maybe not the ideal place for a short stay, because of the commute.

The quietness of the location even though it was situated next to the largest hospital in Rome, and a 20 minute tram ride the centre of Rome !The pool is fabulous and just perfect to take a dip in at the end of the day after taking in all the sights Rome has to offer. Manuel is an asset to the hotel, he is so helpful and obliging nothing was too much trouble. The property is well maintained and comfortable and spotlessly clean.

There was nothing not to like. The only one thing I would suggest is that they update their promo pictures regarding the apartment suites as they no longer have the seating and potted plants. The seating although functional it is just a couple of wooden seats and a wooden table and does not quite have the wow factor as the promo pictures does.

The location was really good. Not far to walk to a small supermarket or a cafe. The number 8 tram that goes into the centre was very nearby and then everything was easily walkable from there. There is a bar on the complex where you can buy a coffee, drinks, an ice-cream or a croissant which was handy. The pool and gardens on the apartment complex were really lovely and having a pool to enjoy after a day of sightseeing was great! The staff were very welcoming and gave us some great tips for where to go in Rome.

We really liked it all. Maybe something that would be a bonus would be a cafetière in the room/coffee machine but there was a kettle so it was no big problem! Also, you can buy a really nice coffee in the bar on the apartment complex.

Beautiful relaxing property with pool outside of the hustle and bustle of Rome. Very easy transport links, tram 8, takes you right into Piazza Venezia with no changes. Stop off at Trastevere for lunch/dinner. Loved having a busy packed day sightseeing then chilling around the pool at night. Rooms and surroundings are lovely .

This is definitely not a hotel. There’s no breakfast and coffee never available early enough for us as we had city plans every day. Staff not always around and very limited bar but when you can get a drink service is great and staff are lovely. As long as you’re prepared for this it’s absolutely no problem.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Similar to an Airbnb because the hotel does not offer breakfast or services expected in a hotel except in peak summer periods. However, we were made to feel welcome and accommodated with coffee overlooking the pool. The location seems a bit far from central Rome but there's a tram into the city not far away. Also by staying here you will become more familiar with the local areas. Manuel was extremely helpful with information and suggestions.

We would have liked to have coffee, tea sugar etc in our room particularly on our first night arriving as there are no shops near by, however when we asked the next day we were given some coffee and sugar. This is a new property beautifully maintained however there are few finer touches that are needed.

Hotel is lovely, nice cool rooms, comfortable beds - we stayed in an outside apartment with a little kitchenette - easy access to pool which was clean and nicely landscaped. They had just opened the restaurant and the food was good and well priced with great pastries and cakes. Great location - easy 24 hour public transport to center (25 mins) as well as to shops and restaurants in Trestavere (10 mins). Staff were really friendly and helpful - couldn’t do enough. Special shout out to Manuel who checked us in and out and was there to answer questions throughout
