I booked as a venue to hold a conference. The staff I dealt with were all friendly and helpful, particularly Barbara at reception who was exceptional. She really did everything she could to help on the day, came up with ideas to solve our last minute problems and genuinely made the difference between a good experience and a great experience.

The meeting room was booked over the phone, and although it did hold 50 people seated, it was very, very cozy. We had to hire a second room and organise break-out sessions, which was organised quickly and efficiently and worked well, but was stress we didn't need. Dinner in the restaurant was perfectly edible, but nothing special, although service was good. Remember it's primarily a hotel, not a 5* restaurant.

Staff were helpful especially as I was using crutches after breaking my ankle. They were able to move me to a downstairs room near the reception and breakfast area. They also offered other help eg having breakfast in my room if I would prefer that. The only negative comment is that the area near the coffee machine was very congested and this could have been dangerous at times with people carrying hot drinks. However maybe this was a temporary arrangement?

See above. Also a hook for a towel closer to the shower cubicle would have been useful. I also found the surface of the shower tray rather slippery.

Breakfast included, good period of time for breakfast. Hotel clean and staff friendly.

Breakfast tables not cleared and cleaned often enough, tables were often dirty from previous customers and not wiped down.

I like the fact that it is so central for transport. The staff are always helpful, kind, and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble, if the staff can help they will. I've stayed here for the last 7 years now, and I am always happy with my stay.

I was disappointed with the evening menu in the restaurant. It is now mainly vegetarian, which I don't mind, however as a solo traveller I depend on having my evening meals in the hotel. The chips have now been changed to fries, therefore the burgers or anything with chips was not an option. That I believe to be a false economy, most of us like proper chips, please.

Breakfast was exceptional. Full English breakfast bar plus fruits, cereals. Great coffee/espresso machine. Small but nice bar (beer/wine/spirits). In house restaurant was just what we needed at the end of a long travel day. Staff helped us in every way. The front desk has a direct line telephone to A2B Taxi service (very accommodating taxi company). We highly recommend this hotel.

Can't fault this place. The room and ensuite were impeccably clean, everything worked as it should. The included breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options and I chose to get a dinner from their restaurant as well. I had my dog with me, and although not allowed in the main dining area, there's a 'lounge' area right alongside where dogs can be, and it was easy enough to both order my dinner, then collect a buffet breakfast, from that spot. There are pet-friendly rooms close to the entrance which was really convenient. No issues with noise overnight. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The only slight downside was the location. I would have preferred to have dinner out somewhere, but it was a bit of a walk to places when I didn't know if they'd allow my dog. But of course that's not the fault of the hotel.

Door can be moved to separate toilet from bathroom or rest of room. Modern, clean. Nightlight in toilet (so you don't have to leave the light on to be able to find it) Comfy beds and pillows Good location. Next to train station to Birmingham. In Redditch town centre, close to a shopping centre, pubs, restaurants and the bus station.

Breakfast is limited. Eg no fried eggs, marmite, range of breads etc

The room was spacious and enough amenities for a family. You can ask for top up of toiletries as we didn’t bring any. The reception staff are fantastic. Plenty of parking available even though we came at night on a weekday. The breakfast crew could have been a bit nicer. I could see the lady was stressed and was losing her cool.

The toilet needs better curtains In disabled bathroom. It was too short and you had to choose while taking shower what you wanted saving- toilet seat or front basin. It was bit stuffy and there was mould on the grouting in shower places and toilet seat bottom. This could improve with thorough cleaning and better ventilation.

Great location for us as in Redditch. Reasonable price and hot breakfast included. Rooms good size with standard double beds and sofa. And decent size bathroom with shower and toilet you can separate if you wish. Great idea! Staff always pleasant and helpful. The place is clean and free parking on site is great

While we love this Redditch hotel it's beginning to look and feel a bit tired. Our room was not great. Plugs not working. Service hatch in ceiling coming down. Bathroom tatty and carpet lifting and stained. Coffee machine at breakfast temperamental that really did need to be sorted.

Great location which is only a 5-10 minute walk from the town itself and cinema and shopping centre. Lovely Chinese restaurant close by too. Staff were lovely and you can order food but we went out for food, lovely bar! For breakfast you can pick a fry up so you get beans,scrambled eggs,sausage,bacon, hash brown which you do yourself! Toast Porridge Fruit Different cereal And then your tea,coffee and juices

First room we had did have mold on the ceiling and down the tiles in the shower unit but I rang to reception who moved us straight away and apologised.
