I loved staying here. I booked it because it was the cheapest available room along that bit of the coast, so I had minimal expectations. What I found was a nice, basic, but very clean and comfortable hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. It is on the corner of the small square in Beaulieu on which there is a daily fruit market, and on which there are three very nice cafes. I spent most of my time there having breakfast and dinner on the square. After 3 nights I already knew many of the staff and locals. Despite being on the Cote d'Azure, it felt like I was staying in a small French village. There were more locals than tourists, the food and prices were excellent, and all of this is outside the door of the Select. The hotel is 3-4 mins walk from the train station, and the train can take you to Nice in 5 minutes or so, or up the coast towards Monaco in minutes. So, you get a nice, friendly, very inexpensive hotel on a truly lovely French town square, very few tourists, very calm and authentic, but you're 10-15 mins from all the beaches and touristy places along the Riviera. My room was small, simple, but comfortable and clean. If, like me, you spend your time there on beaches or exploring towns like Eze, then all you need is a comfortable and cool place to sleep and shower. For that, the Select is absolutely perfect. For the price, and for the location, it is exceptional value for money. They offer breakfast as an extra, which I didn't try as there are three cafes and a very good boulangerie right outside (yum!).

They are really nice people, eager to help the guests with anything, but what really impressed me was the fact that they rent towels, umbrellas, and Beach blankets!! That’s really helpful. Also, we didn’t have the breakfast at the hotel, but every time we needed to use the microwave in the hotel’s kitchen, they let us without any problems. The area is really exceptional!! 🥰

Hmm… not sure about this.. maybe the fact that in the night or in the morning you could really hear the noise if someone is on the hallway, or if they speak on the hallway.. and it can wake you up.

This is the best hotel to stay at in Beaulieu sur Mer! This was my second stay. My room was large, comfortable, clean, with attractive decor, quiet, had a good bathroom/shower, nice TV, and had super air conditioning! The staff was so helpful with information. There are restaurants right across the street (but my room was quiet) and a grocery store in short walking distance with the train station next to it. Skip Nice and stay here, as the train, especially, plus the public bus are so easy to use!

Absolutely nothing that I didn't like!

Single room but with a standard size double bed. Room came with a safe and a fridge which were unexpected for the price. Copious hot water, air con, soap provided, TV and good internet access. I paid for an occasional breakfast too which was good in a lovely little dining area on the first floor overlooking the square. Staff are extremely friendly and really helpful, I arrived late and they had a concierge greet me at just after 9pm, although the instructions to enter without staff were sent in advance.

Nothing... this hotel offers fantastic value for money in a very expensive area of France. This was my second visit.

I have stayed there 4 times. Location is in town square with market and restaurants steps from the door. Clean clean rooms , great breakfast. It’s the best town on the coast , no crappy old town, not overrun by tourist. The train and bus are a block away, the 2 beaches a beautiful 10 minute walk, the architecture is amazing. A quintessential French beach town if you don’t stay there you are making a big mistake.

There’s nothing not to like unless you can’t walk stairs , it’s 3 floors but there’s a luggage elevator that’s cool and works great . And the bathroom is modern but small if you are a large person.

Friendly, clean small hotel in a lovely town on the French Riveria. Highly recommend! The room had a large window that opened fully and overlooked a cafe. You could enjoy the sounds of the town while open or be nice and quiet with it closed. The room had a/c so we were very comfortable. There was a kettle with mugs and supplies and a refrigerator in the room plus two chairs and a small table so you could sit by the window and enjoy coffee. Nearby were a few cafes and a decent coffee shop plus you were one block from the train station and a grocery store. They offer breakfast as well though we did not eat there. The location is excellent with easy access to Monaco, Nice, Cannes, Ventimiglia, etc. plus a lovely promenade that you could follow to Cap Ferat.

Wasn’t a problem for us but there is only a small luggage elevator. People have to use the stairs.

A beautiful and clean family hotel in an amazing place.

An economy room with single occupancy is not suitable for living for more than two days due to the inability to ventilate it and the smell in the room. But since there are only a few such rooms in the hotel, and all the rest are freshly renovated, all other rooms can be ventilated by opening the windows. Also rooms have French charm and very clean, I cannot give this hotel a rating lower than 9. Since I was able to change the room.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Date of stay: October 2024

Small, friendly hotel in the heart of town. The station, shops, cafes and restaurants were all within easy walking distance. The hotel welcome was warm and we were provided with a town map and useful information to help is get the most out of our stay. We stayed in a standard double room for 4 nights which was small but fine for our needs. Breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choice and when advised of dietary need provided suitable gluten free option

Great location - only about 150 steps from the train station. Hotel has been tastefully renovated & our room was very clean. Our room looked over the Town Square where there was a little Market every day. Larger Market on Saturday selling handbags, clothes etc. The ladies at Reception were very helpful & pleasant. The Hotel offers a daily breakfast for an additional charge which looked very good (we didn’t have it as didn’t eat breakfast).
