I liked this hostel a lot. I enjoy small hostels like this one and after a few days in Barcelona I welcomed a cozy atmosphere. It’s not very modern and there is no air conditioning in the rooms but they brought us an extra fan and the place is kept clean. It also has a nice breakfast included and is very well located near the bus station and plenty of places to eat/ drink and stroll around Girona. For the price I think it’s really great

The only thing I would have liked was air conditioning, it’s really hot in Girona in the summer. But it actually exceeded my expectations for the price

I loved the ambience and the staff. The hostel felt like I was staying in an old house with lots of character. The sunroom was gorgeous, and the common rooms were lovely too. The staff was warm and friendly, although breakfast was a bit tardy – which stressed out one of my hostel mates, who needed to get somewhere. The place was very conveniently located in the center of town.

Breakfast was late, and coffee was instant. I recommend that they have real coffee, and invest in Melita cones and filters. Very cheap and easy way to provide real coffee. Also, curtains on the beds would be real nice.

The guy who worked there was lovely and friendly, he got us in a dorm room which we had to ourselves for our whole stay- so thank you for that! Brekkie was simple but it’s fine, it’s included in the price so can’t complain! Kitchen is a bit gross but can make do to cook a meal! Apart from that decent hostel good location clean enough would stay again!

There was only one plug socket in our room right near the door which is a bit annoying. Found half an opened tin of tuna in the kitchen cupboard god knows how long it had been there!

Really lovely hostel in a historical building with high ceilings, old tiles on the floor, and a picturesque view from the balcony. Entrance to the spacious bathroom is situated directly in the sleeping room - it is really comfortable and it's not the most common feature in hostels. The breakfast is fine, the location is perfect.

The room was tiny and my bed was really close to the door. Power outlets rather far away from the bed. Only instant coffee for the breakfast.

the receptionist is a very nice guy. Very helpful and compassionate. he told me where and how to go. Very nice and very helpful. Location is great too

The facility is huge and spacious. beds are so large. Just kitchen requirea renovation and there should be some towels and clots for people to clean after they cook. Also washrooms needs some tools like brush for people to clean them after the use it.

It wasn't too far from the bus and train stations. Nice clean female dorm with bathroom. Lounge with comfy chairs looking out onto the street. Kitchen is small. No kettle or microwave, they are in the breakfast room!! The breakfast was good, bread for toast, cereals, ham, jam etc. I was only there overnight but enjoyed it.

Nothing really could do with a kettle and microwave. Had to wash a dirty pan out to boil water for tea!!

The staff Marta and Fonsce were both lovely welcoming people. They couldn't have been more helpful when asked a question. My flight was delayed until the early hours of the morning and they had no problem waiting for me to check in. Breakfast for the price is great and being able to use the facilities made my stay easy.

Nothing. I intend to stay again next year if I travel solo again.

The guy you welcomed people at the hostel. He is very kind and give us a lot of info. The building. It's an old and well decorated building. The bed was comfortable.

The bed makes too much noises and you could wake up the others while going to sleep. The lockers are too small to insert any backpack or suitcase. The breakfast lacks fruits.

The central location is one of the hostels biggest bonus / assets ! Access to public transport is virtually at the doorstep ! Most city attractions can best be reached on foot. Shops and eateries abound. A quirky and somewhat dated hostel and run by a very friendly and helpful administrator when manning the office etc. Seamless WIFI. Wonderful friendly city -(Girona). Recommended .

No fridge / hob / sink.

I liked how calm it was. Nobody disturbed anyone.

I didn't like the creepy man that I met there. There are a lot of men in their thirties or forties that just liked to talk to me (I'm 18 years old)
