My son and I really had great time in this place. Staff is great - very flexible, accommodating and ready to give you a hand - and I like how the place is, nothing pretentious, structure uses indigenous materials, just the way I like it. There's an amazing place to sit/ rest shaped like heart, lovely swings, bamboo lounges, etc. At night, they amazing lighting which makes the place very Instagrammable. We loved staying at On Board!
There were several dogs stay under the table while you're eating. My son isn't very fond of dog wanting to lick and be petted, so we had to shoo them away.

It was such a beautiful location! A little off the beaten track but thats whats so special about it! Its laidback and chill, while at the same time feeling very special and fancy because of the amazing view! The cabinas are so cute, and i loved the chill zones. Also the puppies are adorable and always put a smile on my face. The staff were all super attentive and friendly. A very nice atmosphere ✨️💓
The showers in the shared bathrooms were not the nicest, a little uncomfortable with very low water pressure but thats not a problem if its only a short stay like mine. If you hope to stay longer maybe its best to upgrade to a private bathroom. There is also no laundry service, but on the main road there is one! Be aware that you have to walk approx ten minutes along the beach to get to the main road but again, its paradise, no complaints!

The main thing I enjoyed was the bar staff. They are employed to keep you company and entertained while you're at the bar, which is different, and good. How many places do you stay at where you and the staff learn each other's names and you remember them afterwards?
The access road was absolutely dire, but that goes for all the resorts along that part of the beach. If you're into motocross and brought your track bike you might enjoy it. The room I had was basic (cheap and cheerful?) but the bed was comfortable enough. Speaking of the access road, they do direct you to park somewhere else and walk along the beach (nice) to get there.

There were several things we loved: The people absolutely make this place special - the barman (Juanbal? and Ferdinand) as well as the girls behind reception. Dog friendly - we had our dog with us and the other dogs played really well with her and the staff were very friendly to her (Umi). The relaxed atmosphere and views were amazing.
Wifi - we had to work a few days and had to go find better wifi so we could do our calls - the place is not set up for business so we can’t hold that against Onboard but faster wifi would be nice. The communal shower/toilets aren’t great - there are a few bigger rooms at the bag next to them that aren’t being used - seems like they would be great to build a proper toilet room and shower room where you could have 4 of each rather than have toilet and shower in 1. hot water would be nice. Pests - a rat got into our room which wasn’t nice as I have a phobia, but, we were in a hut on the beach so, it can happen. Accessibility - not difficult to get to and means you are right on a slightly secluded beach - difficult for those with walking issues.

I like your staff...They are all accommodating...and courteous
there should be an assigned staff to fetch the visitor in the parking area..we arrived around 7:00 pm....we did not expect that the parking area is quite far from the main entrance of the hotel..it was somewhat scary on the way going to the hotel...It was a blessing that our driver accompanied us in going to the hotel...It was our fault too that we did not get your phone number to inform you...Or simple suggestion, since we are an expected guests, if it is not too much on your part, you can also arrange the transportation to pick up your guest from the airport going to the hotel

Just 8mins walk but WORTH EVERY SECOND! This place is a Gem. and a must go! Tourist or travelers around visits this White Sand Beach as part of the itinerary because this is the longest white sand in Bohol. And when you book here you will wake up everyday and a have a nice beach morning walk just in front of the property. Yes! It is just in front of this Hostel/Resort. Its very convenient to just be in the white sand beach where people walk and enjoy. Inside this resort is a restaurant and bar that has the most beautiful aesthetic I must say I have seen in my 20 days travel in southeast asia!!! STAFF ARE OVER THE TOP they cater and interacts with all the travelers and engage in conversation with very good english. They promote Filipino Hospitality and its just right on point!!! THANK YOU ONBOARD!!!! This experience is a highlight of my Southeast Asia tour Im very happy I booked 9nights with you!

We spent our first night in Panglao in a small Kubo in this little paradise. Loved it so much that after a couple of days traveling around the island we wanted to return here so we booked a few nights more. We will definitely come back to On Board next time. Such a cozy place in a peaceful and beautiful location. Have a nice cup of coffee and step right into the ocean is quite nice way to start the day. Take a walk on a long white beach is a nice stress reliever. Each Kubo has a hammock so why not lie there and take a nap or work on your laptop. Not too crowded or too touristy area but an easy access to the hustle and bustle if you feel like that. Awesome and very helpful staff. Good food too.
It would've been even better if I didn't have to work but the restaurant area was super nice place to do that as well. There's a wifi but this is the Philippines, it might work or it might not.

The resort area is small but quite beautiful. The entrance is literally on the best beach of the whole island. We stayed in the Kubo rooms, little beach huts, and it was an awesome experience. The shared toilets were honestly better than I thought and the place was quieter at night than I expected.
Getting to the hotel the first time is not so easy, but the reception tells you everything in advance. If you arrive by scooter, you can actually go all the way until the back entrance and save a lot of walking!

The staff immediately made us feel like family and valued guests. We stayed in the extension, but it wasn't a very long walk to the facility or beach. Of course we enjoyed the pile of fur babies and their parents to play with. We jokingly named one of our favorites "Mocha" and would love updates on her in the future 😀.
To no fault of their own, current vehicle access is quite limited, so some walking and lifting is required. Wifi access wouldn't reach the extension, but that's not really why we came to vacation in paradise anyway 😀

The resort's beauty is unparalleled, situated right beside the beach with its powdery sands and clear blue sea. The room offers both coziness and ample space, and the restaurant is exceptionally charming. One improvement I would recommend is diversifying their food options, especially in the seafood menu. Despite this, our stay was fantastic, and we look forward to returning. Additionally, they are a pet-friendly resort, and their resident dogs are incredibly friendly.
The food was delicious, but I recommend expanding the variety of options, particularly in seafood dishes.
