Easy to get the keys from the box for after 19:00 check in (but you must have paid beforehand). You have everything you need for a budget room: comfy bed, en-suite bathroom, soap, enough toilet paper, crockery, A/C, heating, reasonably quiet, nice views. Nice and accommodating staff. Great value. We are coming back.

Not much inside parking at the top level, so you have to park on the street (free though) if you do not want to have to climb up the hill from lower level parking spots when you come after hours, as only the top door is open. Maybe a bit of noise that carries over water from the factory on the opposite bank, but tolerable with ear plugs. No option for twin beds for budget room - but hey, probably the best value in town!

Most comfortable bed and pillow ever. Neat, clean and a great setup and location for a great price.

I like the fact that there was privacy. I liked that shops and restaurants were close by. It was central to all the places I visited and close to the city. Not that I used the kitchen but I liked that feature. Also liked being able to do my washing and drying. The sea views were good too. I also liked the fact that if you wanted your room cleaned or not cleaned all you had to do was slide the sign on the door.

I didn't like the fact that I wasn't told about WIFI or when I checked in not given the password to hook up to WIFI. No it wasn't in the rooms on the information given. I also didn't like not being able to switch on the lights to the room. I had to use the one that's near the kitchen sink.

The beds were very comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. So nice to have frienly and helpful reception open for our late arrival. Even a comfortable accesible balcolny with table/chairs for smokers (my sister) had absolutely no impact on non smokers (me) which was fantastic in these days of smokers being pariahs. Everything we needed was provided and couldn't fault anything at all. We were visiting our brother in hospital so it and so nice that affordable, accessible accomodation was the least of our worries. I don't like long life milk for coffee - though not a problem because on my next visit I would buy some fresh milk on the way

We were welcomed with the pleasant surprise that the two rooms I had booked (one for the friend travelling with us) had been upgraded. So my wife and I had a larger-than-usual room and our friend had the bonus of a water view. She was an international visitor and was duly impressed! I also liked the small balcony overlooking the swimming pool.

Not much to dislike, but a few comments: * We had to scout around for a plug for the kitchen sink (so we could wash the dishes). * The facilities are a little dated but overall we were very happy with our stay at Waterview. * The people in the room next door to our friend were a little noisy well past 10pm, however we realise that could happen anywhere.

The bed and the couch were both good quality and really comfortable, kitchen access for cooking facilities if needed, and fresh towels each day and our bed made. Housekeeping staff were friendly when passing in the hall, reception staff were friendly also.

Parking was ok on arrival however we went out for dinner and when we returned later we had nowhere to park and had to park on the street, also the view from our lovely room was not so appealing, two broken down/run down cars looked to be abandoned in the neighbouring paddock with a shipping container with vines and weeds growing around it, paddock over grown also which was not a very nice view but we accepted it due to such cheap accommodation still made it worth it. Will definitely return.

Comfortable and clean motel with a fridge and microwave in the room & guest kitchen down the hall. Front desk person was friendly and let me check in even though I was a little early. They assigned me the first room they had cleaned which was good of them. Location is a little further away from the harbour and town centre but only about a 10 min drive. As long as you have a car it’s a good place,if you don’t I’d look for something a little more central.

Location would be an issue if you don’t have your own vehicle.

Friendly staff, easy check in/out, great location, comfortable beds, decent shower pressure/heat....overall, nice place to stay for the price.

Had to park on the street for one night as there is minimal parking and spaces are tight but free, so that was good. Only one key/ card for room, second card, or separate card for lights would be handy for when going back and forth from car or kitchen.

Everything was as described and the manager was extremely helpful and friendly. Close to shopping and the major highway but very quiet. We will be staying again.

The walls are quite thin, so you can hear the neighbours in the room next door quite clearly. But not the hotels fault, you can tell it was built quite some years ago and the inside of the rooms were very clean and well maintained.

Liked the size of room. Place was clean. Big comfortable bed. Liked there was a couch and table & chairs. Liked there was extra pillow and blankets if needed. Also like there was the community kitchen where we were able to borrow two wine glasses. Also excellent price. Would stay again.

Nothing really that we didn't like but would have liked sugar sachets topped up as we ran out.
