We loved the home away from home feel & the great location

Considering we’ve stayed at this property multiple times and for extended periods of time we were given a microscopically sized room during our last visit. There was also no initiative to find a solution for us when we made our dissatisfaction known to the front desk stuff on duty.

I don’t quite know where to begin. We had the most amazing stay here last weekend to celebrate our wedding. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and went exactly to plan. We were so sad to leave after the weekend was over. We will 100% be back next year to celebrate our anniversary. The rooms are decorated so very tasteful. The bed was extremely comfortable and large. The staff helped us with anything we needed and were all so polite and wished us well with our marriage. Breakfast was very tasty. They even kept the bar open for us a little later so that we could celebrate with a champagne when we got in on Saturday evening. Thank you to everyone at the Egerton House hotel for the best wedding weekend and the most wonderful memories.

This is a small traditional English hotel on a quiet street, superbly situated near Harrods and Victoria and Albert Museum. Our deluxe king room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hotel’s greatest asset is its staff! They were extremely helpful in our inquiries and accommodating to our requests. A service far beyond the usual London hotel…

We had the English breakfast one morning. It was delicious! We just think the price was disproportionate.

I do not agree in being asked to pay a 20% tip for service in a 5 star hotel , it was discretionary but I had to ask for it to be removed from my bill. Excellent service should be baked in. I hope the staff, who are excellent, are well remunerated by their employer. It pretty much ruined my stay. Maybe I am old fashioned.

Everyone was tremendously helpful, kind & concerned when I became ill on my last full day there. On all the other days they answered all my questions, help secure theater tickets & recommend restaurants, shops & reserved taxi's for me. My room impeccable with a very soothing & relaxing decor. Housekeeping was very attentive to my requests & my room was well taken care of.

Only that it was difficult to see where things were kept in the bar area of the room. Such as the bottle opener. I recommended housekeeping place it on top of the refrigerator instead of hiding it in the box.

Our room was very clean and spacious, the daily housekeeping was of a very high standard. Lovely breakfast (most mentionable were the delicious homemade pancakes), and very good coffee. The lounge and bar area were so comfortable and the food served there was also delicious. A great asset to this hotel are the wonderfully friendly and efficient staff, nothing was too much trouble and we were always made to feel very well taken care of.

The charging facilities for our various devices could be more up to date, the only access point is on the desk, there are no points available bedside. The tv in our room was not a smart tv.

Everything was amazing during our stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The entire experience was like living a dream. The staff’s attention to every detail did not go unnoticed—they truly cared and it made all the difference. I was especially delighted to find Turkish eggs on the breakfast menu; it's a treat I rarely get to enjoy, and it truly added a special touch to the mornings. Moreover, the location of the hotel was outstanding—conveniently close to everything we wanted to see and do. This made our exploration of the area effortless and enjoyable. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations on every level, and I can't wait to return.

We have stayed at the Egerton several times and will continue to do so in the future. We love this small hotel for its location, the staff, and the wonderfully cozy rooms. I love seeing the cheery cascading florals around the entrance when we round the corner to Egerton Terrace. When we step inside, seeing the familiar faces of the wonderful staff, who are always so welcoming and helpful. The rooms/bathrooms are well-appointed and have elevated design and comfort. For location, it is a short few blocks to Harrods, Harvey Nichols, the South Ken Tube, and Hyde Park, with great restaurants tucked in here and there.

One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. I think that this hotel really deserves its ranking. Nathan at the reception (the only name I remember) welcomed us and we even managed to check in 2 hours earlier, however we did not expect that. He also gave a lot of tips where to go and what to see. I must say that all the staff are very friendly, polite and respectful. All women that serve breakfast were making the beginning of our days great and very positive. Food was really delicious and we could choose the dishes or adjust them as we would like. The room was very nice, not too small, with all facilities we needed. Adaptor was provided in the room that made our charging of the devices easier. We liked the opportunity to take some treats and tea at the reception. The cleaning of the rooms was done in a proper way.

I informed the hotel that I am coming to celebrate my birthday but I did not hear Happy Birthday at that day. The only person who congratulated me the next day was the lady at breakfast because she had a birthday the next day after mine. But since everything else was amazing, I would say it is just small remark from my side.

It was our second stay at the Egerton House, and we were wondered once again by the outstanding beauty and hospitality that this hotel has to offer. Amazingly beautiful hotel building, a Victorian town house beautifully decorated and equipped with all amenities one can need. The staff’s politeness and attention to every single detail made our stay extremely relaxed and comfortable. Such a luxury! The breakfast was incredible! Specially the full breakfast à la carte. We loved the elegant dining room at the lower ground. My partner had his birthday some days prior to our stay and we were welcomed to a beautiful card and a box of chocolates in our room, so kind!!!! Million thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcomed, specially to Rosie, Sarah. Everyone is an example of professionalism in hospitality, pretty much taken to the next level. We hope to be back soon.
