Historic building with modern upgrades, good location, (surprisingly) affordable - perfect for us. The staff was friendly yet professional, knowledgeable about local area, helpful and accommodating. There was a refrigerator and coffee machine in the room, plus we were given a sweet breakfast box with juice, yogurt, fruit, croissant, and muffin. The location was close enough to Boston to do a day's sightseeing, but far enough away to enjoy the New England small-town vibe. All this with a view from our room of the inn's beautifully landscaped courtyard/patio. We will be back

Shower door was difficult to open

Very charming hotel right in the city center. Room was very nice and clean. People were very attentive and help where they can.

I would like to suggest two improvements. 1. it would be good if snacks (chips, nuts, or something similar) would be available later at night. They were not available either at the bar or at the hotel. 2. Breakfast: the breakfast is such was good, but I would actually prefer to have breakfast downstairs in the restaurant.

The property is beautiful and filled with so much history. The staff is the best I have encountered in any hotel worldwide.

I had a room above the restaurant which was busy, and noisy, right up to 10pm. It didn’t bother me that much but anyone with noise sensitivity may have an issue.

The inn is absolutely charming, and it's located in a cute little historic harbor town, a short walk from the harbor. Every member of the staff we encountered was nice, professional, and helpful, and we had an amazing dinner at the restaurant downstairs. The room was huge and even had two little balconies!

Absolutely nothing.

The front desk staff, Nancy & Michelle, couldn't be nicer. They went out of their way to accommodate us and meet our needs. :)

The hotel is lovely, and situated in a quaint little town, but is showing it's age. Also, the Tavern was closed for renovations so we didn't get to enjoy the food that the previous guests raved about.

The establishment is very beautiful, and the staff is kind. The breakfast comes in a box, but it was good (muffin, juice, croissant and tangerine)

Everything thing was good but the house keeper went into our room unannounced before checkout which could have been really unpleasant and/or uncomfortable in a different situation…

I liked the location, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful( I forgot my toothpaste and they brought some up), the historic ambience, the decks and seating choices around the inn, frig in the room, the shower was great.

Low lighting in the room but of course it's an old building so that's understandable.

Breakfast box was perfect. Thank you thank you for the in-room full-sized Keurig and the mini fridge. My 93 year-old mother and I just loved the fireplace, the spaciousness of the room, and the entire experience. The tables at the foot of the bed were extremely practical, too.

The inn is charming and cozy and quiet. The innkeeper was wonderful, paying special attention to individuals. We slept very well. The town of Cohasset is a delight, especially the French Memories bakery across the street!

Loved the hot tub and the bathroom and shower! Great area, quiet. Restaurant right downstairs. Plenty of pillows. Staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean.

Tv was pretty small for a hotel room. Especially a room with 2 queen beds. One bed was very uncomfortable.
