Free parking was one of the main reasons I chose this motel. The front desk staff attendant was friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. The room is a standard room with a comfortable bed, desk, and a small dining area. Large dressing area with ample luggage storage. Small fridge and microwave available. Standard size ironing board (not mini!) and iron -super helpful Room price seems appropriate for what is provided

$150 deposit-a little excessive TV channels don’t work Neighborhood seems a little rough but the parking and property are well lit. Just be vigilant (not a negative-a FYI)

Chariot Inn was very close to a lot of food places, including several chains (In-N-Out, BK, McDo, Taco Bell, Starbucks). The nearest grocery store was a 5 minute drive away, a gas station is on the opposite side of the street, and there's even a Porto's about 10 - 15 min away by car. Very convenient! To top it off, the place has a secluded yet spacious parking lot, and the management keeps a close eye on cars that come in. I had a friend drop by for a visit and they already knew the color of their car when I came up the front desk to inform them that they're just gonna be there for an hour, max. The rooms had clean carpets (I could tell because I did a 40-min workout on the morning I checked out that involved push-ups and moving planks). The bed was really comfortable. They had a microwave AND a refrigerator, plus a work desk and a small table. Everything was great! Most importantly, this motel has late checkout fees! I selected Chariot Inn over others mainly because they had an hourly rate of $30 (this might have increased by the time you read this). While steep, it is better than other places which would just charge you for a full day if you overstay by merely an hour or two. I must also mention that I stayed in a sketchy Motel 6 in Omaha, NE a few weeks ago (as of this writing), and I originally had a reservation in a LAX hotel two days before my stay at Chariot (which I had to cancel for medical reasons). There were sketchy-looking people loitering around the hotel corridors in the former, while the reviews for the latter indicated the same. I did NOT have this experience at Chariot! In short: - good price - great location - spacious parking lot - great room amenities - clean rooms - exudes an ambiance of safety & professionalism - allows late checkouts with hourly rate I will be staying here the next time I'm in LA!

The room wasn't all that perfect. The bathroom isn't properly spaced, as the door cannot swing the whole way. It will hit the toilet seat about 60% of the way in. The solution to this is to move the toilet seat back a few inches, and there is some space behind the toilet that will allow for this. Bad craftsmanship! I hope it's only in the room I stayed in (Room 111), but knowing how things go, usually it is more expensive to fix things after everything's been built. However, this is the only complaint I had for my stay. It is ultimately a minor thing and shouldn't detract you from staying here.

We Loved the property it felt very quaint and loved the overall look. The facilities were also very clean and well maintained it made for a very pleasant trip. The hotel attendant was also very welcoming and nice, thank you for the great customer service! I would also like to mention that we had a lovely view of the mountains from our room. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a great deal but don’t want to sacrifice comfort or even security.

Not much to dislike however be mindful the property only allows one vehicle per room, we didn’t have to worry about this though.

Came here from the airport late and needed a place to crash, and this place had good ratings on booking. Com They had a well lit parking lot with plenty of spaces that were easy to park in. The employees on staff were very friendly and quick to check in/ out. They had a cute eating area in the lobby office and patio upstairs. The location felt safe. The room was good size for one person, with basic desk, chairs and lights. Easy to use temperature control of the room. The bed was comfortable and some toiletries provided.

Been here multiple times, A good stay to recommend. Their Queen room and King room size is spacious, been here multiple times and staff here are very nice, they even automatically upgrade your room to upper grade if availability allows. it is located almost 10mins walk 3mins drive to the Glendale center, very convenient. it also provides a good number of parking spots convenient for small trucks suvs and cars of different sizes. Price is quite reasonable, and sometimes could even get a better offer during promotions.

The room was clean, spacious, equiped with microwave and fridge. Bed was very comfortable, we slept very well. There is a small terrace where we spent every evening. There is also included parking. The laundry was very welcome to wash our clothes. Area is very safe and quiet. The people from the office were very nice and friendly. We would return for sure, it is a very good option to visit Los Angeles.

I wouldn't miss the chance to review my swift 'overnight' stay at "CHARIOT INN" ... 'cause everything about it worked for me seamlessly. So let me count 'NINE' ways: ... #1 - my room was clean as a whistle, which shows obvious respect for both clientele and establishment alike. ... #2 - The microwave, for hot morning tea bags that I carry with me (the office gave me styrofoam cups when checking in) and the little fridge for cold water bottles when back on the road, both, worked efficiently and were most appreciated. ... #3 - the queen bed was comfortable and roomy and there were plenty of 'phone/computer charging' and regular plugs everywhere. ... #4 - the bathtub with hottest water ... was spacious and especially welcomed. ... #5 - the parking courtyard was large, also fastidiously clean, convenient and QUIET - both before and after - locking myself in for the night! ... #6 - I felt 100% SAFE! ... #7 - when a little lost driving in at night and calling late, "AB", the young night clerk at the desk happily looked up my current logistics on a map ... and gave me perfect driving directions over the phone that I was able to successfully follow to a 'T.' ... #8 - the ice and vending machines (for cold drinks) were convenient and utilized. ... #9 - Overall - as a woman on my own - I felt cared for as a customer and, when in need of a safe, convenient overnight - VERY AFFORDABLE - facility when down again for the day working in the Glendale area ... I certainly and surely - WILL - be back!!! - Julia

the room was clean but I had to air out the smell of previous occupant; kept on bathroom exhaust fan........Breakfast.....what breakfast?...suspended due to covid??? is that good excuse? no coffee,creamer...nada!

My Ice cream melted in the mini fridges freezer. Nothing good on their TV...limited to very few channels...could not access local stations....stuck with CNN,MSNBC and the likes. Shampoo and conditioner and soap was inadequate and no good either. Towels were adequate but suspiciously not so white, maybe not so clean(?) or just need more chlorination? Door to bathroom was too close to the toilet seat, gets in the way. Room's color scheme was not appealling (opinion only). Staffer, night before check-in said room was at the front, but ended up at the back. will ask for a specific room next time. Booking.com does not have that capability?

The room and entire property were very clean and quiet. Everyone in the office was kind and friendly. The location was great with many food and store options nearby. The Glendale Galleria was only about a mile away. Chariot Inn is in a safe area for walking. Easy drive to Griffith Park and the Hollywood Bowl. I would definitely stay here again.

Where do I begin? I was reticent to book this because it was so inexpensive for the area, but my husband and I were stuck a bit late in LA after a work trip and decided to stick around one more night before heading back to Texas. So, we truly just needed a crash pad for a night, and I didn’t want to spend too much (producer mentality). My fears: open parking lot in Glendale (close to LA) could lead to theft or general sketchiness, pictures too good to be true for the price, dirt, bedbugs, all the things you fear with a choice to save a few bucks. NEVER FEAR these things at the Chariot Inn. I could have eaten off the brightly lit parking lot. it was quiet all night (we were probably the loudest things arriving), the property and room was Disney-spotless clean, and the manager was super friendly. Book this place without hesitation. You absolutely won’t regret it.
