Loved the sea view and rooms were perfect and modern. Staff were super polite, the spa was lovely and the breakfast in the morning was very good.

Only problem was the tv remote in our room didn’t work but wasn’t a big deal for us personally!

Booked hotel in June via Booking.com app as i had also booked tickets to watch Jools Holland live at The Pavilion, wanted to treat my husband to a night away from home. Not only was the price great value I also had the choice to pay via Klarna. Last week got a message from staff at Ocean Beach Hotel and Spa to apologise that due to staffing problems they were organising our stay at their sister hotel The Suncliff. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room we stayed in has a very BIG and comfortable bed. My husband is partially disabled, and it was lovely watching him stay in one position most of the night. Was advised by staff that we could have used the pool, gym and all the leisure facilities but to be quite honest just wanted to relax before our big night out. Next time must ask for a room with a bath (as don't have one at home)

The only gripe was people outside after 2am being rather loud (not the hotels fault). We got back from our venue before 10:30 and would have liked a drink but bar was closed.

Breakfast was great and staff friendly room very clean and great sea view - close to beach etc great !

Be handy to have a little shop or something as the closest shop is about a half hour walk - that means we have to spend an hour walking to the shop and back to get food / drinks. Bar is a bit expensive- £21 for 2 drinks Also didn’t receive any information upon booking or arriving about how breakfast / dinner works - and if we need to book or just turn up so that could of been a little clearer Lastly our shower wasn’t great - water pressure very low - toilet didn’t flush properly and sink tap very week

Great location, staff very accommodating, had everything I needed in my room and comfortable nights sleep. Good value for money.

Although clean, my room was run down and tired. Bit of a musty smell as I entered but I got used to it after 10 minutes. Window looked out onto other rooms and very run down outside walls and air con unit. Slight hum from that all night but didn’t stop me from sleeping. Able to watch Tv for the most part but signal dipped in and out. I didn’t explore the downstairs but hallways and stairs were clean. I booked via this site and wasn’t aware that it was £12 a night to park your car, I believe if you book directly with them it’s free.

We stayed in the sister hotel, Suncliff hotel next door due to issues at the ocean beach hotel and spa. I was given enough notice that our booking was going to be the sister hotel and it did not disappoint, bed was comfortable and room was clean and was good value for money for what we wanted in a room. Bathroom was very specious.

There was a draft coming from the window where the bed was under. Maybe the window needs looking at.

The hotel was lovely and in a good location,quite peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel.

The prices of the drinks at the hotel bar were more expensive than we expected which was a shame because it put us of drinking in the hotel bar area. Also we were not happy with paying for parking at the hotel even though we were staying there just because we didn't book direct.

Nice clean hotel with very helpful staff. Room was small but had everything we need. We had a lovely sea view which was great to wake up to. Liked the on site parking. Buffet style breakfast very good and cooked poached eggs to order. Enjoyed eating in the restaurant in the evenings and felt there was a good choice on the menu

The ensuite bathroom (our room was 122) was dated and needed replacing. The floor tiles were cracked and there were chips out of the bath and some strange sticky bits. Also the water was not overly hot and we both enjoy a scalding shower.

So near to everything plus bus stop right outside the hotel and beach plus can use two other hotels staff all so very good only had to pay for the car parking £12 night which was free last time we went there

Pool was not open until the end of may but had to go to the one in the next hotel only thing l didn’t like was the blind in the bathroom so old and did not fit was all Raggy at the ends once throwing away

The staff are all incredibly friendly.

I had a few minor niggles with my room. The electrical socket was positioned just above a table and there wasn't enough space to connect any of my devices to the travel plug. Also, the water flow in the bathroom was a little sluggish. But it's such a friendly hotel that these minor issues really don't matter.
