Walk through from the baggage belt to the hotel without stepping out into the street, with very good directions inside the airport too. Very large buffet breakfast spread but caters to a huge churn of customers so it's a bit messy. But the rooftop restaurant has awesome ambience, great staff, good views of the tarmac (from the window seats), decent local tap beer and a small a la carte selection. Could even do a whirlwind city walk around at night in 2 hours thanks to the metro also being right next to the hotel (again no stepping outdoors!) and the 25 minute ride.

Nothing much to complain for an airport hotel except that the shower is only in the bathtub and it's pretty high above the floor. So if you have problems with your knee, or mobility, you will really struggle.

Perfect for the airport. Just follow the signs from inside the airport building and you can walk to it easily without ever going outdoors. Immaculate hotel with lovely staff. Liked the gym too. Great view of runway and absolutely no noise whatsoever from outside. Restaurant very nice but would work out expensive if you've got a few children. They need a kids menu to keep the price a bit more reasonable and to get more custumers. Lovely restaurant though with delicious food and amazing staff. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely visit the restaurant again.

I recently stayed at this stunning hotel located directly inside the airport, and it was an absolute delight! My stay was overall pleasant. The facilities were good, and the room was comfortable. The equipment provided was of decent quality. The staff, especially at breakfast, were courteous and helpful. The breakfast had a nice selection and was enjoyable.

My stay was generally pleasant, but I was surprised to find that a wine bottle opener wasn't provided, and it seemed that opening your own wine wasn't allowed. This gave the experience a slightly cheap feeling. Despite this, the overall experience was still positive.

Friendly and efficient greeting and check in on arrival. Lovely room, beautifully designed and the bed was excellent - very comfortable. We went for the standard room as we were only stayed overnight whilst changing planes. We also visited the bar on the top floor which overlooks the runway and the service there was exellent as well. The hotel is very conveniently located with access from within the terminal building and it was well signposted. Breakfast was delicious - a very varied buffet with lots to choose from. We will definitely return.

Literally just next door to the airport, an easy walk through the terminal into Hotel foyer. You do not go outside. The room was very comfortable and great soundproofing. The breakfast buffet offered so much choice and was delicious food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully decorated with many casual seating areas. A relaxing stopover.

Minor - only one set of lifts and our room was 2 short of being the furtherest away. Long walk if you forget something.

We loved the stylish rooms and the great breakfast. There was so much variety. I also liked getting access to use the gym. It is also great to be directly in the airport. We arrived really late from a delayed flight, so it was wonderful to just fall into the comfortable bed. They are very pet friendly and loved our dog, as well.

Unfortunately, the automated self-check-in stands take forever to type into on the screens, so it is much faster to go to the front desk if the line is not too long. I did get access to the gym in the hotel attached to it, but I was not given a towel to shower with, so I had to wait to ask for one, and then in the gym's dressing room/shower area, there is no separate place to dress or sit. It is just one shower with tons of lockers. I think it could have been designed better.

I absolutely loved this hotel!! Everything was spot on; the reception staff was very friendly and most of all international, the room was quiet and clean and most of all the bed was superb with a great mattress and several pillows to choose from. Also a rug on the floor was a nice touch on the room style. All was finished of with a small coffee-and-tea-making kit. Also the breakfast was excellent; even though I got the 4 am "early breakfast" (which usually is a somewhat of a disappointment), everything was already well in place so there wasn't anything I missed with the earlier setting. A huge bonus were the pancakes! They were far from those "ready-made-and-only-heated-on-spot" things, these we clearly baked fresh there in the kitchen. Also the thing which also was extremely good was chia-pudding which still is a clear rarity these days at the hotel breakfasts. So all those "specials" also being available at 4am, I commend the hotel big time. I was very happy yet reluctant to leave that wonderful serving (as I had to catch my flight) and I hope next time I will have more time to enjoy it properly! To top everything of, once checked out, you are a 5min walk from the check-in lounge of the airport, "weather-free", not having to set foot outside the airport. I will not hesitate a second to use this hotel again when traveling, I was so impressed.

If I need to find something which could have been improved, the only thing is that I would add to a hotel rooms of this standard, would be a small "necessity kit" with a bonus tooth brush etc. Otherwise, it is very difficult to miss anything else to add.

I booked standard room, there are no slippers and tissue in my room but I was not made aware when booked, was told slippers are available at euro 5/ pair. No tissue in my room, not sure is missed by housekeeping or need extra charge. No phone in my room, notice on wall have a number that I can call reception, but as traveller like me, I only have data plan, to make local call is expensive. There is no half day rate for late check out, hotel strictly applies Euro20/hour, not customer centric

We had a wonderful stay at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport. The hotel is newly renovated, and while the rooms are a bit small, they are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable. One of the highlights was the rooftop restaurant with stunning panoramic windows, offering a beautiful view of the sunset.A special thanks goes out to the hotel staff. I had an important document sent from China, which was supposed to arrive after our departure from Helsinki. To get the document on time, it needed to be picked up directly from the courier's office. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. Markus, one of the staff members, made a special trip to pick up the document for us, resolving a HUGE issue. We are very grateful to Markus for his help; it made the rest of our trip so much smoother. Thank you again!Overall, a great stay with excellent service.
