For an efficiency room in an airport terminal, this was well-designed and well appointed, and there were some rather nice touches with the lighting. Everything felt new and seemed rather sound-proof. (Exactly what we needed between flights) The location was obviously convenient and the man at the reception desk was professional, yet friendly and considerate.

After our late night flight, it was frustrating to try to find the location of the hotel. Airport employees did not know where it was. The terminal map was not helpful, nor was the hotel website. There definitely needs to be more signage or more specific directions.

Very nice, welcoming and professional staff. Had an undisturbed night (much needed after my late and longish flight) and was able to check out at 13.00 without paying extra. Room was quite basic, but clean and functional. Noticed that there was at least free coffee and possibly some snacks available next to the reception, but didn't have time to try them.

The air conditioning was somewhat noisy but it wasn't possible to adjust it. Apparently this is largely because it's part of the airport's common air conditioning system.

I needed to spend the night near the airport to catch an early morning flight. I didn't have high expectations or requirements for a place to stay. However, Comfort Hotel Xpress Helsinki Airport Terminal turned out to be a very good choice. The small but cozy hotel room contained everything I needed to get a few hours of sleep before my flight. And of course, the biggest bonus was the hotel's location. Quick, convenient and easy access to the airport.

Inside the terminal right next to arrivals. This was fantastic as I could check in my bags (4 big ones) while the family slept. Great for families with infants/toddlers. Crib was available.

The hallways are a big narrow and the hotel is underground. Access is via stairs or elevator which is not ideal. However, these are minor issues given the location.

Fantastic location within Helsinki airport terminal. The rooms are compact and have all you need for a quick overnight stay. The bed was super comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. Our room did not have a window which was great for getting a good night’s sleep between flights. The airport terminal has a convenient food court with a good selection of cuisines.

There isn’t a lot of signage to the hotel

Really really close to the terminal and perfect for a very early morning flight. Comfortable, fairly small rooms - fit for purpose. Friendly staff.

As dining options at the airport itself were limited, it might be a good thing for the hotel to branch out into more substantial food offerings - although it could be there were some options in the airport of which I was unaware (only there one night)

Upon arrival and departure, staff were friendly and helpful providing the tea service requested ready for me in the room. The hotel itself is in a prime location for those arriving late or leaving early. The room was very peaceful and the bed comfortable. Soaps provided were eco friendly, fairly locally sourced and smelled wonderful. All in all, well worth the cash for a night at the airport!

Don't expect a view as this hotel is underground which helps provide complete darkness in the rooms during the endless days of the Finnish summer.

We needed a place to sleep while continuing our trip to Lapland so we arrived late and left early, Rooms were small and had no window but it was ok for this purpose, Staff of the hotel was extremely and nice friendly, and we felt very welcome when arriving with our big bags and with our little dog. If I would need again for place to sleep I would come back purely because of the friendliness of the staff (my dog agrees since he got snacks too) it is those little things that matters in the end, thank you!

I have nothing to complain if something maybe the price but this is airport and Finland so I accept that.

If you ever have a long layover at Helsinki Airport, do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel. Your body will thank you for resting in a peaceful room with a comfy bed, and it’s worth the money, especially if you have another flight to catch later.

The bathroom was a bit dark, and the shower door didn’t close entirely, so if you leave any clothes outside, they could get a bit wet.

The hotel had easy access to the departure area of the airport. It was quiet and with no windows it was easy to fall asleep early for a VERY early flight.

Very tiny room. It is hard to imagine having two people in the room with luggage. I also did not like the self check in. The cost of the room for basically self service 100% didn't seem like a good value.
