The pool and views from the hotel was lovely! Everyone was very kind and offered lots of advice and suggestions for things to do in Ischia. The breakfast was great value for money

The property is very hard to find, and not in a very central location. This is really nice if you want to relax by the pool but it takes a while from the hotel to explore the rest of the island. The bus to the hotel only runs once an hour so you have to time your day trips well.

I would recommend Hotel Ape Regina to ANYONE. This was one of the only places my fiancé and I stayed where the pictures perfectly portrayed the landscape. It is a beyond gorgeous facility and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. From calling us a taxi when we couldn’t find the place, bringing us free bruschetta outside of normal kitchen hours because we said we hadn’t eaten lunch, and upgrading our room to an ocean view simply because the room wasn’t in use, Giuseppe and his staff made our stay in Ischia magical. I cannot say anything more about their incredible hospitality and beautiful hotel.

This was the perfect place to stay and relax, the views across the sea and beach were incredible. - pictures do not do it justice. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. The pool and bar were perfect. Great value for money.

My stay at Hotel Ape Regina was perfect from start to end. I was greeted warmly and was made to feel very welcome during my stay by the friendly owners. Travelling alone I felt very safe and I was given a free room upgrade with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ischia. The hotel an be easily reached by local buses and is very quiet and provides a perfect place to watch the sunset go down with drinks and snacks available. Also I must mention the breakfast.. this has to be one of the best I've had during my travels in Italy. If you are thinking of booking you won't regret it!

This is privately own hotel so you get service and attention you cant even dream of in chain hotels. Your satisfaction is their highest priority. The view from the hotel terrace and balcony of our room was breathtaking, even our taxi driver called it “Paradiso” so believe me its exceptional also for locals. There is a bus number 16 from the center and Cassamiciola ferry port which stops directly in front of the hotel. We have also walked from and to the hotel and it was just fine. They have decent size swimming pool where you can even swim a little. Breakfast was served and exceptional! You get a chance to choose what you like in advance and they will prepare it for you. They also make very nice drinks, which are accompanied with many snacks. There is also very good restaurant close to the hotel called Antica Fornace, where we were the only tourists surrounded by locals who come for traditional meals.

I prefer if airconditioning is not directly blowing on the bed, but I guess some people like it. But this was probably only specific to our room.

Our stay at the Hotel Ape Regina was absolutely wonderful, without a doubt the highlight of our vacation in Italy. From the moment we arrived we were very well received until the moment we left, the hosts were impeccable. The hotel is in an area further away from the center, which for those looking for peace and quietness is the ideal place, with an incredible sea view, simply perfect. The delicious breakfasts on the terrace with that view were amazing. A special thank you to Mr. Giuseppe and Mrs Catarina, who were always very attentive, never letting us miss anything and doing everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible, not to mention their sympathy. We were very happy at Ape Regina and we can't wait to return Highly recommended!

The views were spectacular and the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was so fresh, presentation and service was faultless. Pool was kept very clean as was the entire property and grounds. Short bus ride to the Port , Reception sold tickets. Totally chilled and hardly left the hotel as it was so relaxing. Thank you Giuseppe, Katerina and Lucia for an amazing stay.

It has beautiful views, a nice pool, the room was big. Staff were very nice and helpful! Would love to come back!!

There is a bus service, but we ended up walking up and down a few times, as we would miss it. It’s about a 30 min walk which isn’t bad if you are used to walking. We also rented a motorbike which was a great way to see the island, and didn’t have to worry about the bus. Wish the pool was open longer than till 7PM. As it would’ve be nice to see the sunset while being in the pool.

Breakfast was simple, but served personally and beautifully. Hotel hilltop location, good bus access. Staff share bus times. Quiet place.
