The whole property was beautiful. The statues, details in the wood carvings, the doors to the bedroom / bathroom, very special. We were greeted with a gorgeous welcome of “Happy Honeymoon” written with rose petals on the bed, which was the perfect welcome. The breakfast was good, wish we got more time to just hangout at the hotel and really take advantage if it.

The moment we entered the bathroom first day, there was a cockroach in the room (the staff member removed it for me), and one day we got back to our room and although it was locked, the doors were slightly pushed open. Bed linens had multiple stains. You could also hear critters in the ceiling or roof at night which was a bit unsettling before bed. Overall, would recommend for the ambiance absolutely, just beware that being in the jungle, you will hear ”nature noises”.

Centrally located in Ubud, but away from crowds and traffic. Absolutely stunning beyond photos and imagination. The accommodation is inside ornate buildings just like temples. It’s mind blowing. Beds are comfortable, staff attentive. Cheapest massages I’ve seen and I’ve travelled Asia extensively. Good food. Couldn’t rate it higher.

If you are scared of bugs, the rooms have brickwork at the top that lets air in (without nets). Having said this I saw no evidence of a single crawling or flying beast in my room at any time. It was spotless.

Beautiful gardens , pool was great, breakfast was delicious & good choices, bed was comfortable , staff the most friendly people & helpful

No safety box in room , long walk to room from entrance , walking up 4 flights of stairs was a killer, if I stayed in future i would ask for ground floor , aircon was small for large room but it was ok .

Stunning tropical gardens and pool and even a rice field. Beautifully decorated spacious rooms. Small kitchen and a fridge and sink, kettle etc. An option to have your delicious breakfast delivered. Also, other meals can be delivered from their very popular Casa Luna Cafe. Honeymoon Guesthouse shuttle is possible to transfer you to the Must Visit and Eat at Indus Restaurant also. Wonderful helpful, responsive and gracious hotel staff are available for queries. Honeymoon Guesthouse 3 is 300 metres from Honeymoon Guesthouse 1. So a longer walk from Jl Raya Ubud if elderly or unfit. But it is good exercise after eating out at your favourite Ubud Cafes! Worth it once you arrive! The Honeymoon Guesthouse Shuttle may be possible for elderly persons to use. I needed a longer stay!

Room in Honeymoon 3 was clean, practical and pretty. Honeymoon 3 was still under construction, but the setting is gorgeous, within an easy distance to everything including Honeymoon Kitchen and Yoga in Honeymoon 2. Once completed I think it will be a fabulous oasis with lovely views of rice fields. Our morning Breakfast delivery, delicious and eaten outside, was a highlight. The staff, as ever, were efficient, kind, and thoughtful, Honeymoon`s greatest asset.

As an older person, the absence of steps or a ladder into and out of, the very "Instagram able" pool is a significant issue. As use of a pool is and always will be an integral part of my time in Bali, I don`t want lack of access to this beautifully situated spot to be a factor in my choice to stay here.

I booked the hotel 2 months in advance, paid extra for a comfort room with a king bed, but when checking in, they first gave me an economy room and if I hadn't said so... they probably would have left me to live in economy at the price of comfort - this is strange for such a good hotel according to reviews. But after moving to my room, everything was wonderful. I want to note 1) the hotel itself and its territory - Paradise! jungle, silence, swimming pools, 2 territories and yoga classes. 2) breakfast a la carte in the restaurant - wonderful! Be sure to try their coconut ice cream! 3) the location is excellent!

there was some confusion with the room upon check-in, but everything was sorted out within 24 hours

This is probably my 6 or 7th trip to Honeymoon and when I returned I wondered why it had taken me 7 years to get back here. It was like coming home. The beautiful pools, the abundant gardens and the generous rooms with lovely bathrooms and even better balconies. But really what made this like a homecoming was the staff. They are the best. Seriously. So many remembered us and welcomed us like friends. I actually don’t know how anyone could visit and not leave smiling whether they come for a coffee (a really good one too) or a longer stay as every interaction with every staff member is warm and authentic. If you stay here (and you should) make sure you take the option with breakfast. It’s abundant and totally delicious.

A few small maintenance issues but to be expected in the tropics. All minor.

I absolutely loved the architecture of the guesthouse, which is filled with beautiful Hindu statues everywhere. I feel that this guesthouse is just as beautiful and serene as some of the temples I visited in Bali. And the staff was very friendly and helpful too. They gave me another room immediately when I said my first room was a little loud. I didn't use the swimming pool but it looks so inviting and peaceful. The hotel breakfast was great, especially the nasi campur and the black rice pudding which is their Sunday special. Love that the beds in the rooms have mosquito nets.

Only two minor suggestions. First is to add insect screen to the jalousie wooden windows so mosquitoes don't fly in so easily. The beds have mosquito nets so I felt safe sleeping at night but during the day especially at dusk I had to be careful. But maybe this was just an issue with this particular room since the jalousie windows couldn't close fully meaning mosquitoes can get in through the vents. My first room had mosquito screens so that wasn't an issue. Second is to provide more lighting both in the room (sadly I had to work on my laptop and there wasn't enough light) and alongt the path to the many different rooms (it was a little hard to see at night the stair steps otherwise). But overall I love the Honeyroom Guesthouse!

My room was spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was huge. The private balcony was huge. The rooms were impeccably clean and very quiet. The gardens of the resort are beautifully maintained. But the best thing of all, the thing that makes Honeymoon so special, is the staff. They are the best. So, so charming! But wait, - maybe it is the food that makes Honeymoon so special? Such amazingly good meals! I really can't wait to get back!

The traffic in Jalan Bisma is a worry. Maybe the street needs to be made one-way. And the pavements need to be developed, to make it safer for pedestrians.

The location is good, close to Ubud palace, many restaurants, some important walks, massage spots… The property is very scenic with it’s decorated structures and paths meandering through gardens at different levels, the room was spacious and we enjoyed the semi open bathroom! Even the verandah to the rooms overlooked the garden with beautiful statues and water features. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was amazing. You have a list of different options to choose from and the ones we tried (all Balinese dishes) were very yummy. I would really recommend this hotel.

Overall the stay at the hotel was great but if I have to be picky I would say that because there are no glass and/or curtains in the windows, you can feel lack of privacy and a bit of noise from the frogs at night and other animals. I would also suggest to add an element in the toilet for hanging the towels and provide a hand towel.
