Large room. comfortable large bed. Excellent wifi. Large bathroom. Nice breakfast served on balcony. Lovely pool. Jungle surrounds luxuriant.

Bathroom had raised cement edges around the disused shower which were dangerous if tripped on. I covered them with the floor mats. Room smelt musty. There were 30 steps down to the pool level, then 16 steps up to the room.

- really nice staff; - outdoor space is beautiful, so as the view from the balcony; - very close to the center and still out of the village noise; - close to several restaurants, supermarkets, bars and atm (up to 5 min walking distance along the street)

- at 5am we were awaken by a weird noise of animals moving outside quickly - after confirming with the staff it was probably some monkeys or bats; - when we were by the pool a group of monkeys invaded the outdoor space and caught us by surprise. They hunted and caught all food they other guests left at the balcony. The staff members were quick to act though!

The view from the bedroom is awesome.

The sink in the bathroom is awful.

Car has to stop on main road and than you need to pass by narrow pedestial alley Its quite dark and not really wellcoming for first time. Once you accomadate and during day light its OK Room lighting is little bit outdated,weak yellow light not ideal for reading

The location was perfect! It was very central to the main street but in a more quiet area. The cottages were surrounded by many plants and you could hear different insects and birds, it was a nice atmosphere. The bed and the cushions were super comfy and everything was clean and looked after. The building had such a special charme, it seemed traditional but also modern. The team was attentive, friendly, organized and welcoming. They also offered tours, taxis service and dinner in the room was also possible.

Another problem is that it is inside a long lane, almost so lonely in night, little out of the populated place, where car cannot reach, you have to carry your luggage till hotel. Breakfast, pool and ambience, all was awesome. Staff is really very nice, they packed breakfast at 6 am so nicely when we were leaving. Good for families and couples.

Alam Terrace Cottages are in a good location, easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Quiet location was nice. The property is a beautiful unique set up with a beautiful pool. The rooms are large with a nice balcony. AC worked perfectly. The furniture and wood work in the rooms and around the property is beautiful, full of local charm! The staff were so friendly and very helpful! They made the stay pleasant!!

There are lots of gaps around the doors and windows and some of the lines could use a refresh (looked worn out). The bathrooms were my least favorite, need some updating, everything worked properly but it didn’t feel clean, maybe because it’s old.

Excellent value for money with a very friendly staff. Scheduling breakfast was easy every day and always delivered on time to the room. The A/C was great to avoid the humid heat of Bali and a nice bathroom. Location is solid on a nice street with loads of restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time

No hand soap was interesting. Not a negative but the property is set all the way down a narrow alley that Google maps doesn't understand so be mindful and look for the main street sign.

Great location, off the Main Street of ubud but still close enough to all the fun, while being quiet enough to relax. The pool was lovely and the staff were really friendly. The room was big with great air con and we had room service breakfast which was pretty novel for us.

The bath didn’t drain and was quite grubby. The shower pressure was also not good and the ‘hot’ water was either cold or mildly lukewarm.

Beautiful surroundings & a hidden gem like so many properties & accommodation in Bali. Long pathway to get to Alam but not steep, great for rolling bags. Good porter service who carries Ur bags to cottages. Clean pool & water lovely even on rainy days. Check-in / out no issues, but they only accept card / cash payments, not virtual / phone tap. Stunning little kitchen restaurant on the pathway to Alam (Kobe’s Kitchen). This was an AWESOME & DELICIOUS find

Breakfast not worth-it, but not horrible. We expected a bit better & have had better (selections & not limited) at other Bali properties
