There were 2 separate parts so it was good to be able to separate when needed through there being multiple rooms.

That the bathroom sink/tap Is also the kitchen sink/tap, there was a really old sponge that looked like it was a year old and the detergent looks 20 years old so we replaced the sponge and bought ourselves some detergent. There's nothing to cook real food, and the microwave only heats in small intervals so doesn't actually heat anything up, just made it soggy. The beds come away from the walls and because they're on wheels you keep nearly falling off the bed backwards just to rest your back on the apparent back rest.

We stayed not long after the new owners took over. They were very friendly and happy to take feedback. Being near the botanical gardens was a bonus, as we were able to take a stroll through when going for breakfast there. There was also a great cafe for breakfast across the road. The room was unexpectedly large for motel-type accommodation and truly was an apartment.

The parking wasn't assigned and found that apartment next to us had multiple vehicles that took up all the parking near our room making packing the car with stuff for us and the kids a bit annoying.

Very clean and tidy. Did not have breakfast - and because of the hot weather did not look around the area but it appeared to be well located. Not far from the lake. No traffic noise of note. The Studio room we stayed in was exactly what was required. The motel is a little way out of the City Centre - which may not suit some, but was most suitable for what we were looking for.

Nothing that I can think of. Suggestion - Perhaps a sign for the power switch for the microwave as it took moment to find.

We booked our room due to the location being close to the event we were attending it was so much better than I expected the room looked like it had just been renovated , very clean and the three nights we stayed we had no noise at all and I felt safe parking my 60 year old show car there overnight The staff were very helpful when I asked direction

The location was perfect for our stay, close to everything we needed and a lovely park nearby for a morning walk. Reception were lovely to deal with and very helpful with information.

We were traveling with a pet and unfortunately the gravel driveway and noises outside were very unsettling for them. Putting pet friendly rooms in a less central section of the property might help with this.

The property was clean, good value for money and the staff very helpful. We needed a last minute after hours check in and Harry was very helpful and arranged it for me on the night, he had even left the lights on in our room! We were flying from interstate for a basketball tournament with delayed flights, so the understanding of staff was most appreciated!

For what you pay, we were happy with everything.

Great location, the new owners are lovely and took care of me as I had to leave a day early. Comfy beds, cant complain, my go to place when I visit Bendigo

It would be really nice if they offered breakfast as it is a pain having to go out when I dont need to, and hoping one of these days they will offer it! (hint hint) :)

My only criticism of our stay was no breakfast service although it was advertised as being available. This was one reason why we chose this motel for our stay, we would have chosen another if this was known up front.

Everything else was top notch.

Jules was lovely although we didn’t need much. McDonalds was close by for a quick breakfast and Woolies with the donut shop was just down the road. 5kms from the city centre was fine.

The pillows could have been better, that is always a challenge. Next time we may just bring our own.

As my wife is very short and also somewhat handicapped due to her age, she had problems with getting onto the bed, as the bed being on wheels kept rolling away from her. I overcame this by placing a chair between the bed and the wall on the opposite side of the bed. This worked satisfactorly
