The Bungalows was an oasis in the middle of a bustling town. The minute you step through the front entrance, you feel the magic! The breakfasts were perfect every morning, and the coffee was absolutely excellent. I stayed in a cozy suite with my dad, and the staff helped make sure that there was an additional pull-out bed for him in the living space, perfect for the two of us to have our separate areas! The property was close enough to walk down to the marina and other downtown attractions, but was also mere feet away from several excellent dining options for evening meals if you didn’t feel like staying downtown.

That I couldn’t stay longer, haha!

Breakfast was homemade and delicious every morning. Staff was always friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. The pool and garden area were beautiful, relaxing, and quiet. Excellent local restaurants just around the corner.

Furniture in the sitting area of our room was a bit uncomfortable, but certainly not a reason to not stay again. The Bungalows is a 15-20 minute walk to town and the beach. We are walkers so that was ok with us, but if you do not want to walk, you would need a car or depend on uber/taxi every time you want to go to town or the beach.

We loved our stay! We were greeted by our super-friendly host; she was flexible for our check-in, was so lovely throughout our stay!! The room was great, and as I needed to work during my stay, I was happy the WIFI worked super well. Another great part of our stay was the daily breakfast: each day it was different and so delicious (the best we had throughout our 3 week stay in Baja California)! Near the hotel, there are plenty of (local) restaurants. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which we appreciate! Still, it is not far from the city centre if you want to visit or eat out there.

Allie the manager is outstanding. The rest of the staff is great too. Super friendly, lots of great tips on activities and dining, really cares about people. She even lives on the property. The pool was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious each day also with fruit and a main course that changes daily. The Bungalows has charm and character that you can feel.

It’s about a ten minute walk uphill from the main area, but that also makes it a quieter area. And Ubers are plentiful if you’re tired or lazy like us.

What a treat! A beautiful hotel, with a large and comfortable room. Air conditioning was strong and pleasant, and the airport transportation arranged through the hotel was fast and efficient. I especially enjoyed that the hotel made a delicious vegan breakfast for me every day - I always assume that "free breakfast" won't comport with my dietary restrictions, but the owner and staff here accommodated me with delicious meals every day! Right next to a convenience mart with everything you could need, just up the hill from town. I'm not a big fan of driving or being driven on vacation, and the location of this hotel made it easy to walk everywhere. We booked the honeymoon suite and it had a little semi-private area, great for reading. Overall, just a fantastic hotel - if you're not about the resort thing, this is the ideal spot for you.

The only complaint I have (which is very minor) is that the pillows on the bed could have been somewhat better - but maybe I'm just used to foam pillows.

The Bungalows Hotel is a charming, tranquil oasis in the middle of Cabo San Lucas. The property is decorated beautifully, and the room was equipped with all the amenities one could need. Aletse and team are incredibly kind and hospitable. The daily hot breakfast was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I loved the pool and relaxing on the pool chairs in the afternoons. The hotel is located in a walkable neighborhood and with some great restaurants nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Bungalows Hotel and look forward to staying here again the next time I visit Cabo San Lucas.

The best thing about Bungalows is the staff. Ale and the whole team are terrific and make you feel like family. The daily breakfast is wonderful. The hotel is charming and a taste of old Mexico. Considering overall prices in Cabo the hotel is a good value. We we stay there again.

Nothing really stands out as a negative. It's a bit of a hike uphill to get to the hotel from the Marina area - but that's good for getting steps in - and you can always use Uber that we found quite reliable. There are no TV's - but you're not going to Mexico to watch TV!

We loved everything and all of the staff. Allie? was an asset to this hotel. She took care of everything. Breakfast and the lady that cooked it was super. Allie recommended great restaurants and helped us to navigate the streets that we walked each day and night. Alexander's by the marina was a good choice we made. Also Guss is also a suggestion Allie made and we ate there twice

Great staff - so welcoming and helpful! The rooms are pretty and quaint with a great layout (seating area, kitchen area with kettle and fridge, sleeping area and bathroom). Water pressure was great and water super hot! Hammock seats outside on the balcony. I also loved the wonderful breakfast (juice, coffee, fruit, and a different dish each day). The location was very good - this is a less touristy area, which felt safe to walk around, approx 1/2 a mile walk into town, and a 1-5 minute walk from several restaurants in the neighborhood - the staff will give you recommendations for their favorites.

The only negative was that the walls are thin - you can hear conversations outside whilst in your room, and at night can hear road noise and barking dogs. It honestly wasn’t a big deal for me, but it might bother others. Earplugs are provided and can be found near the safe in the room.

The hotel was centrally located, only a few minutes drive from downtown. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. The breakfast every morning was spectacular. Aletse is the perfect person for the job. She has wonderful communication skills and even helped our son practice his Spanish and let him help her feed the birds.

Depending on the location, you may get some noise but most people respect the 10 pm to 10 am quiet hours. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent.
