Breakfast was delicious. Had lots of options. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar had good views across Shanklin bay. The road outside was closed due to land slip so Road was quiet hence bar was reasonable quiet . Room very hot but hey it’s summer did have a fan in room being on ground floor meant you couldn’t leave windows open over night. Comfy beds very clean . Lots of plug sockets and and not a cramped room.

Bathroom, though clean it was very small and small door to enter it at an angle. Not meaning to be rude but a large person might struggle in there. Toilet really close to sink . One other thing every time I went to open doors to wardrobe and drawers the handle rings came off they might need to tighten them .

We had a lovely time at the Harrow Lodge Hotel, the location is exceptional, the lovely people that work there are very welcoming, we had a good tip about which roads where safer to cycle on from the nice man at the bar. We had drinks and dinner outside, and I found the view breathtaking. The full english breakfast was delicious, we were welcomed by a lovely young lady. Everyone was very kind to us. We were allowed to keep our e-bikes safely inside the building, and we really appreciated it.

The carrots at dinner were clearly frozen, which can be ok if only they wouldn't have tasted like they have been.

Brilliant location, friendly, helpful staff, everywhere was immaculately clean and tidy. Breakfast was great with good veggie and lots of GF options too. The room was small, but had plenty of storage and was quiet.

The shower had very little power and took ages to get warm and the cubicle was tiny. I'm not huge, but I had to leave the door open whilst I showered, because the 1st time I burnt my bum on the hot water feed tap. We'd have asked to move but they were fully booked, but even when we looked in one of the bigger rooms it still had a small shower.

We were surprised that the Hotel was only a 2 star and would have easily rated it a 3. Our room was clean and bright with ample tea and coffee supplies. A lovely shower room with soaps and shower gels soft towels. Hairdryer and fan and ample hanging and storage for clothes. The variety of breakfasts was amazing and freshly cooked even 3 types of bread. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. Food in the restaurant was lovely so if the weather was too bad you had everything you needed on site.

Our bed was a double which was 2 singles pushed together which gave the feeling of a hump in the middle son you couldn't really lay together and was painfully soft.

Staff were all friendly and willing to help, my hairdryer in the room broke and they quickly sorted it for me, with no problem at all.

The shower was quite small, was fine for myself but my husband is 6ft 2 so found it quite a squeeze and we couldn't have a shower one morning because the water was cold or it would turn cold whilst we were in there, we just had a shower when we returned later in the afternoon, it didn't spoil our experience.

Amazing location, cozy accomodation, welcoming and smiling hosts, great value for money, super clean interiors, sumptuous breakfast, at a walking distance from all amenities and next to the fantastic Shanklin cliff - what else can you ask for ! The ambience at the bar and restaurants were great. Would love to visit again .

The heater in my room was a bit dodgy, but I was immediately provided with a portable replacement as soon as I informed the staff, no questions asked. Great service .

Our stay at Harrow Lodge hotel was truly amazing. The room with a balcony provided a fantastic view of the sea to wake up to each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food menu offered a wide variety, and the bar was a lovely spot for drinks with stunning sea views. The location in Shanklin was absolutely perfect, with easy access to the beach via the beach lift and the Chine within walking distance, which was especially enchanting at night. The hotel's exceptional dog-friendly approach made our furry companions feel like royalty. With daily room cleaning and readily available fresh towels, the service was impeccable. We are definitely looking forward to returning. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Harrow Lodge team for their hard work in maintaining this wonderful hotel experience for all of us.

Excellent location right next to the sea. Staff were lovely, and we were very kindly upgraded to a sea view room which was amazing. There are lovely coastal walks nearby. Breakfast was very good with a great choice and good size portions.

Unfortunately the walls of the rooms are quite thin and it's easy to hear people moving around in the rooms next door, which did wake us in the night. Also, the sink and shower were slightly blocked and the toilet flush wasn't very powerful.

We have walked past Harrow Lodge many times when we have been over on previous visits to the island, so knew it was an ideal location for where would like to stay. Close to the Cliff Lift, the path down to the front, a short walk to the Old Village and onto the High Street. The breakfast was cooked fresh each morning, and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was impeccably clean, with a small fan provided (which was definitely needed during our visit as it was fantastic weather!) There is ample parking for those staying at the hotel. Even though the hotel was full, there was always a parking space available.

We really enjoyed our break .. was very much needed! The staff couldn't do enough for you! Breakfast was lovely .. full English .. tea/coffee .. toast .. honey/ jams .. fruit .. orange/apple juice .. gluten free options .. thank you for toasting my husband's crumpets .. ate once for lunch and once for dinner both nice meals .. my boys claimed a balcony that led from the bar and not far from our room .. no. 15 .. our room was spacious .. clean and just what we needed .. slept well .. was quiet .. the lift to the beach is on your doorstep .. walking to the beach isn't long at all both ways from the hotel .. Shanklin Chine not far at all .. old town just up the road and the main town the opposite way .. needed the chemist while we were there .. The Views are picture perfect! Could of sat there all day and watched the world go by .. really handy that there's parking around the hotel for free .. Thank you Harrow Lodge for a lovely stay with you x
