Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional, with Mario’s and Albert’s impeccable service and hospitality. Luxurious and private accommodation made our wedding night and honeymoon very memorable. We loved the hot tub and how comfortable and spacious the villa was. There are some steep stairs but they help with the bags so that was a plus. We would love to come back and stay here again.

We were greeted at the airport, taken immediately to the meeting point in Oia where we met a member of staff who took all our bags to our deluxe villa. Mario, was waiting at the villa to give us the keys and tell us all about the villa and local area. He also gave us his telephone number so we could call him if we needed anything at all, he was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our holiday a good one. Mario also helped us book a catamaran cruise and made dinner reservations for us. He also recommended local restaurants and explained the best places for us to visit. If we return to Santorini we would have no hesitation in booking the same villa with Virginia's Cave Villas, it was a wonderful holiday.

Nothing really other than possibly the shower. The water pressure was very low but it didn't spoil the stay.

Overall is worthwhile and interesting experience. awesome ocean view and central location right next to the blue dome. fun experience if you don’t mind to live in a cave for a few days. The staff are very diligent, working hard and responsive.

WiFi never worked well. The shuttle ride they offered from airport to the hotel was quite expensive. the hot tub finally got hot the day we left. the mattress is okay, I think they could do better considering the price we paid for. If those points are improved still consider going back.

We were met from our taxi where our bags were carried to the apartment - this was excellent given the busy streets of Oia, steps and heat. We were then shown our cave room by Mario which was lovely, well equipped and very comfortable. Our pool and sun beds were very private and had an amazing view of the Cadera, tucked away from the crowds of Oia, yet centrally located just off the main street. Mario sorted out dinner reservations at 2 excellent restaurants and ensured we got a good table to watch the sunsets which were simply perfect (we particularly loved Dimitris). Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

Absolutely nothing!

Location is at the centre of Oia. So thats a plus. Be mindful that there are many stairs to go down to get to the unit, so for anyone with difficulties in taking the stairs, this is something to think about. Definitely not with a wheelchair

Drinking Water was only provided for 1 day even though we stayed for 2 nights. Logically if 2 different people booked 1 night consecutively, the unit would have to provide 2 bottles. Small matter but something that can be improved. Plus bottled water is cheap anyway Internet wifi was a bit difficult to get connected in the beginning. Get help early from the staff

This private corner of Santorini was tucked away from the hussle and bussel of the main street of Oia. A perfect spot to unwind and relax with everything required within a 10 min walking distance. Our hosts kindly picked us up at the drop off point for taxis and back and we look forward to returning some day.

Only negative was the cleaning process on the last day, we had a couple hours left in the villa but we couldn't go outside during the cleaning of the villa's outdoors area with hosing and watering of the area we wanted to relax in during our final hours. Other than that, it was perfect.

Not only is this hotel located ideally a few steps away from the castle and main pedestrian walkway of Oia, the caldera views are AMAZING. The cave room was very nice and clean, you have the benefit of cooler temps due to the building cave design and a quiet AC. The bathroom was very large with a large shower for two and had enormous counterspace for all our toiletries. The best part of the suite was the hot tub overlooking the gorgeous caldera views, day beds, eating nook, and chairs for lounging. The outdoor space was very spacious, relaxing, quiet, and inviting. We spent every afternoon of our stay enjoying our private balcony for a few hours before dinner. The host recommended several good restaurants nearby within a 10 minute walking distance and also set us up with an enjoyable 5-hour catamaran tour, along with airport transfers and a rental car (go through them, it's cheaper and easier than trying to figure it out on your own!). Would absolutely recommend this hotel 110%. We are very picky about location when we travel and were so grateful of the privacy and views provided by our unit. Many of the other hotels on Oia are anything but private - you're out on display to ALL the tourists on the main pedestrian walkway if you step foot out onto your balcony and it's very noisy. This hotel is uniquely situated for completely privacy from the walkway. Hence the 100 steps down to the hotel, but don't worry - the taxi driver from the hotel will carry your luggage up and down.

The room is fantastic, large and able to sleep 4 people. Views from the hot tub were amazing, we watched the sunrise from the sunbeds, be aware, you will have to venture out to see the sunset, but you can go up to the castle ruins which are a 5 minute walk away to watch the sun go down. The balcony is huge and has an outdoor eating area, deck chairs, sunbeds and the jacuzzi hot tub. Room had fridge and TV (with Netflix/YouTube). Very central to all areas in Oia (it is pretty small) so you can walk to the other end of the village in 15/20 minutes and you will pass everything on the way. We were allowed to keep our luggage in the reception room until our flight later in the day which helped greatly and our host helped us with our luggage to the top of the hill. Our host also provided with lots of recommendations to eat out and where to go when we arrived.

Better communication on how we would get into the apartment, we had to call and wait 10/15 minutes until the host arrived. A sign from the main path down to the Villa's would help. We had a couple of power cuts, we did have a number we could call and it got solved, but disrupted our plans one night while getting ready.

Amazing cave villa with stunning views of the caldera! Spacious, with an outdoor jacuzzi and everything you need. Albert from Virginia’s Cave Villas was an incredible host—he helped with our bags (100+ stairs!), organized transfers, and even got up at 4:30 am to carry our luggage for a 5am airport transfer. Always available on WhatsApp for any questions. Highly recommended stay in Oia. Thank you!

This was the best stay we had during our entire vacation. We had just gotten engaged and could not imagine a better place to celebrate. The photos don’t do the room justice. The room was spacious on the inside, and the outside was just as great’ we had our own day bed and hot tub, which we used every single day. The location is excellent! Walkable to everything in Oia. The views, as you can imagine, we’re breathtaking. And your villa is private and far enough from the hustle and bustle. The best part about our stay was definitely the staff, hands down. They were so very kind, accommodating, and made our stay even more special than we could have ever imagined. Mario helped us with transportation on the way there and back to the airport. When we arrived, they met us to carry our bags down the Virginia Cave Villas. This was a game changer because it’s all stairs in Oia (remember to tip, they have such a hard job and make sure you don’t have to lift a finger the entire time!) It made our lives so much easier. Every time we needed reservations, we’d reach out to Mario and he would have a reservation set for us within MINUTES. Even restaurants that were not showing any availability. He had great recommendations and made sure we were taken care of every day. We will definitely be staying here every single time we visit Santorini. Thank you Mario and to the entire team!
