Tranquil boutique hotel with a handful of rooms, all opening onto the inner courtyard with a lovely jasmine tree for shade. Super clean. Great amenities in the room. Nice, simple breakfast. Staff very helpful for advice & booking needs. Drinks available from their little onsite "bar" too.

Nothing dislikable! Just to note there is construction as they seem to be expanding to the back of the property, but no construction noise; seemingly while guests were around. Also, the water pressure struggles to keep up in the morning if multiple showers run simultaneously, just got to wait your turn is all.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The property was very well located and made it easy to access all the tourist areas of Oaxaca City. One nice thing is that the hotel is a bit outside the historic center which ensures the noise is never too loud from people or traffic. I enjoyed the hotel's courtyard both in the mornings for breakfast and for relaxing in the evening. Our room was comfortable and very clean even though it was probably the smallest at the hotel. I look forward to returning to Oaxaca and staying again at the ArcoSodi hotel.

My only concern was that the water system seems a bit undersized for the property. I don't know this for sure, but the water ran out during one of my showers. Fortunately my spouse was able to go to the front desk and was able to get the water turned on again.

The breakfast was good but it was the same selection each morning. Wish they had more to choose from.

The price of liquor. The price sheet has price for wine for glass but I didn't understand that you had to buy the whole bottle. The white wine they had cost me approximately $35 and the same bottle of wine in the U.S. was only $5.97. I should have ask more questions before thinking I was buy a glass of wine. If you want anything from the bar I think it would be great to ask questions to make sure you are getting what you ask for..

Very nice smaller hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and comfortable. We had the “Lavender” room which was about the middle of the hotel. Our room was very quiet. The location is just on the outskirts of centro, near the Jalatlaco neighborhood. Mercado de la Merced is very close, and well as a few cafes and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms AC worked well, and the complimentary breakfast is a nice additional bonus.

The property is a tiny bit dated, and the cost a bit high for the property.

The boutique hotel is a treasure! My room, Girasol, was large, beautifully appointed with modern fixtures and gorgeous wooden doors, shelves, wooden coat hangers, plenty of lighting and electrical outlets, air conditioning, a coffee maker and security box. The staff is excellent. The reception area the staff calls for taxis and responds to one’s needs. There is a kitchen/dining room for breakfast, chairs on a patio, and an outdoor small covered area with barstools and tables and a fridge with beverages one can purchase.

I have not one negative comment.

This is a lovely, small hotel with a fabulous staff! Good location, quiet, very clean, and well-appointed. The building was apparently rehabbed within the last 2 years, with smartly designed rooms. Everything needed is within easy reach. You can control the temperature with a very quiet mini-split. The bath with skylight and rain head shower was wonderful. Rooms include Netflix, coffee maker, bottled water, nice linens, black-out drapes, and bathrobes! A small courtyard with comfy chairs has a little, shaded bar on a patio. A hearty breakfast is served in a large kitchen with a nice homey feel. This place just makes sense. Don't hesitate to book!

Loved the cook and being able to have fresh fruit and yogurt in am. Staff always there and very accommodating. Because we were staying 10 nights we were moved to a large room. Everything was super clean and fresh. Location slightly off the beaten track, which we appreciated, but it was convenient for all we wanted to do. Always felt safe.

Most of the rooms are small and most suitable for a 2-4 night stay.

The location was very good, just a few blocks outside the historical zone. The room furnishings, amenities and wifi were excellent. All the staff were very helpful and quick to respond to concerns. I arrived early for check-in and I was offered breakfast while I waited for my room to be ready. Muchas Gracias! The property is small and everyone eats breakfast at a communal table in the separate kitchen area. The woman who makes breakfast asks each guest what they would like to eat that day and she is very accommodating. A little bit of Spanish is much appreciated!

I had the king-size room at the front of the small property, street-side, which meant that meant late-night and early morning traffic was just outside my ground floor window.

There are only like 5 rooms to this place, but they are building additional rooms further back of the property. Each room is well decorated, the bathroom is awesome with a high ceiling and a sky light. The room is very thoughtfully decorated. Best part, the place is quiet and away from the street noise. The owner really put a lot of effort into designing this place. Can't wait until this place is finished.

Too early to say anything negative because this place is still expanding.

Friendly staff, the details, the location, it’s was well thought out hotel the bed was comfortable, love the fly zapper, the option to purchase the snacks and drinks in the room. Love the garden and the painting in the room. The breakfast included was a nice touch.

I don’t mind so much but the locking the door from inside the room with a key is a first. And a mini fridge in room would be awesome along with an ice machine at property.
