My wife and I do not recall a hotel or Bed & Breakfast where we have felt so comfortable, even pampered. The owners treated us as if we were family. The breakfast was exceptional. As a matter of fact, exceptional is the word that best describes this outstanding sheltering place. We hope, as the people who followed us, which were repeat customers, and who practically filled the place up, we hope we can return soon. Long live the Ravenswood!

We disliked nothing.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel, the breakfast was good, the service was excellent and the staff were great very kind and helpful. I will be staying there again at some point next year. It got my approval and that is why i have given it a 10 out of 10 rating.

There was nothing wrong with the venue it was all great it has the thumbs up i would have liked a longer stay and i will next year for sure. The bathroom was a little on the small size for me which was a bite cramped that was only one draw back for me. But everything else was great still got my approval and 10 out of 10 rating to Well done Ravenswood i enjoyed my night with you and excellent morning to.

I like that it was very clean x I’m a smoker and loved being able to sit out the back for a cigarette in there smoking area x we was greeted with kindness and also had our bags taken to our rooms which was lovely x it’s was a relaxed lovely feeling there x

The bed was really hard so woke up hurting with bad back pain Didn’t like being woke up in the morning with lady opening our door for room service and feel like we was being rushed off on our check out at 10am lady was there in room while I was trying to sort something out so I felt even more rushed to get out x

We could not fault a thing at this b&b, Raj and Manju are fantastic hosts. Greeted by our first names on arrival, they are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We didn’t book breakfast originally, but although they normally do a pre-order system, Manju and Raj accommodated us last minute when we changed our mind to have breakfast in the morning. We booked again for breakfast for our remaining 2 nights - it surpassed expectations. We were in Torquay for my birthday, and we returned from our first morning out to a card and bottle of wine as a birthday gift from Raj & Manju, which just sums up the hospitality here. The property is clean, in a great location and is amazing value for money. We will definitely be staying again when we are back in Torquay. Thank you both for a fantastic stay! Xx

Hosts were great,very freindly and helpful. Nice location 5 minute walk to town

We knew where the hotel was when we booked so no problem with the location. Parking wasn't a problem. Raj and Manju were perfect hosts and included little things that made our stay so lovely, Tea and coffee facilities were topped up, water on arrival and bathroom supplies. Breakfast was lovely especially Manju's starter which was the best! Our room was very clean as was the hotel. A lovely hotel and would go back.

No sea view, but you can't change that!

Manju and Raj are two of the happiest, most helpful, friendly, welcoming people I've ever met. How on earth do they keep the place so spotlessly clean? Nice breakfast, with the added bonus of their special treat. I would definitely stay here again.

The only tiny criticisms I have would be that I'd prefer to pay a bit extra for better quality sausages at breakfast. I also prefer a softer bed, but everyone is different. O ther than that it was faultless.

Finding a good B&B in a sea of B&Bs is hard work, but we were over the moon with the Ravenswood. The location was great, being a very short walk down the hill to the harbour and town centre, with great restaurants minutes away. You couldn't ask for a better location for being close without all the central noise. Our room was immaculate - and I'm a clean freak, so that's saying something - with everything well thought out to make the most of the size. The bed was super comfortable ( despite the sleeptalking, kicking child), and tea and coffee were refilled daily, which was nice. The owners were just the nicest people, and you can see the love and commitment they put into their business. Before they even met us, they offered to collect us from the station, which I took them up on for the return trip, and we were delivered right to our platform... talk about going the extra mile! I can see why people rebook year after year 💕

Everything the room was beautifully clean, the bed was comfy the shower and toilet was spotless. Raj and Manju, the hosts, were a lovely pair, nothing too much trouble, Thank you both

Absolutely nothing......maybe just one small suggestion from the other half some kind of rail to hold on to whilst getting in and out of shower, but wouldn't stop us going again ☺️ ..

Ravenswood hotel is not far from tge harbour.. parking is In council car park with a free permit which is good but there can be issues with finding a space at busy times as car park has building work right now Ford was excellent with many choices of cereal.. yoghurt Pastries and cooked food.. the owners are fantastic
