The very first positive impression was the receptionist at the front desk, because she was smiling and pleasing. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, which creates a feeling of comfort. And the most important thing for me was the cleanliness of the room, which was felt immediately after opening the door to the room. The smell of clean bed linen and towels was very pleasant. And also the comfortable beds, which were a lifesaver after our long journey.

I was a little disappointed with the toast at the morning traditional English breakfast because there was only one piece of bread and it was too small. Also, the coffee could have been a little better. But the service was great and they even brought us soya milk at our request

We booked our stay last minute after getting washed out of our tent in a storm! Nelson let us check in as soon as we had booked which was a huge blessing. The staff are all really really friendly and welcoming. We had a great few days stay and enjoyed the fab singer on the Sunday night in the bar

Only suggestion would be putting a bell in the reception area for when guests arrive to retrieve their room keys. Also the loo roll holder on the back of the bathroom door made the room hard to access.

It was what I expected for the price. Basic clean room.

When I book an hotel I like three things. Free parking, good wi-fi and a swimming pool. The wi-fi did not work in my room. When I went to leave in the morning my car was blocked in by coaches and there was no driver available to move one a fraction so I could get my car out.

Food was good, enjoyed the evening entertainment... very clean, beds were comfy

Was a bit of a trek to town, also was a bit complicated to get to our room.... not much to do in the daytime. .

Very spacious,rooms were great,Activities for the kids were great as well. Friendly staff and people who were staying there

Coffee tea area should be open longer.

Breakfast was ok , room was excellent size and position, Staff were great especially Paul at Breakfast, ( shame he’s an Everton supporter)

Car park a bit small and the spaces are tight One day came back and the car park was full, The manager kindly let me park around the back.

Beautiful period property. The staff were excellent at their jobs and very friendly.

accepted our booking at 10.45pm after the Trecarn hotel refused us entry as we didn’t have photo I.D! staff on duty were polite, friendly & just fantastic. we are so grateful to them!

Stayed 6 nights in total and changed bedding on last day which did not seem to make sense

The whole staff from bar, cleaners, reception and restaurant were fabulous. So friendly, helpful, happy and helpful. Lovely quality linen and towels. Great priced drinks, no rip offs!! The grounds were very nice, great pool and beer garden. Bus stop right outside hotel. Breakfast was great, very large portions of delicious ham.!!!!! Good variety.. Tasty coffee. Very happy friendly hotel.
