Really nice and spacious apartment. Very clean and in a great location.

Two things let it down: 1. Advertised as having heated pools during winter months - we were there in November but the pools weren't heated so clarification would be good on that. 2. We requested a cot in our booking and when we arrived there wasn't a cot the apartment. It was also advertised as a 'cot' but when it was delivered it was a travel cot which are much smaller that a normal cot. As we were charged €10 per day (so €90 overall for the holiday) for the cot we were disappointed that it was a travel cot and not a full size cot as advertised - I think it it important to distinguish the difference. Furthermore the bedding provided for the cot was very old and shabby, luckilly we had brought our own bedding with us.

Our apartment was amazing and overlooked the pool. It was also really clean. The apartment is spacious with 2 bathrooms. There were plenty of cups and plates and other essentials needed in the kitchen. Cleaners washed our floor and changed bedding and towels whilst there. There was a bottle of water and some toilet rolls already there everything else you needed to buy but we knew this when booking and the same as any other apartment you would book.. Although the block we were in was full, we always managed to get sunbed. The pool was just the right size and even had a little baby pool. Yes, it's at the top of a hill, but you do get used to the short walk up after a few days. It's really close to everything and plenty of shops and restaurants and the beach within a short walk. Also far enough away from the noise of the bars and resturants.. 1st time here, but we loved it so much that we have booked again for next year. We did the board walk with amazing views, this was only a short distance from the apartments.

Was a great value, big apartment, comfortable beds, and nice pool! Felt quite clean overall, and although busy, it wasn't very noisy around. Plenty of dishes and things to use, and was nice to get extra towels for the pool.

It's not necessarily bad, but the hotel is at the top of a very large hill and the incline is quite steep, so just to be prepared if you're walking rather than driving! The kitchen wasn't stocked with any cleaning supplies, so we had to buy our own dishwashing soap which I thought was a bit odd. There also wasn't anything like cooking oil or salt and pepper-- kitchen basics, which I understand but was a little annoying. The sofa was also a bit run down and sticky.

The superior apartment was a good size and great to have 2 bathrooms and everything you need in the kitchen.

It appears to be pot luck on rooms - we went with friends our room was clean and large but VERY dated, our friends room just a few doors away was similar size but had been thoroughly modernised and updated so had a totally different feel but we paid the same which made us feel a bit cheated. The other issue is the location- it’s on top of a mountain!! I walked to town and back twice one day and my fitness tracker registered 31 flights of stairs - these hills are not for the faint hearted in anyway. A shuttle service would be a very simple but much needed addition.

Location was great. A short stroll to the town centre and beach. Pool cute, bit run-down. Could do with a few more loungers as guests reserve with towels quite early so not always any available. Our view was nice. Overlooking the pool and could see the beach & sea. The apartment was lovely and spacious. Beds comfortable, plenty of storage and aircon very appreciated!

The kitchen was a bit lacking in amenities and we had cockroaches. We could have done with a chopping board & a bread knife. And we felt it would have been nice (for the price paid) to have been provided with some little simple things such as a washing up sponge and a little washing up liquid.

Great complex. Beautiful apartment. Very clean and everything was functional. The bedrooms were nice with good mattresses. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern, functional and spacious. I was traveling alone and it was more space than I needed. It would be ideal for families. Great value for so much space. I chose this area due to its proximity to the 7 Hanging Valley trail, but it would be great for beachgoers. The town feels small and quaint but had everything I needed. This property is walking distance to the main streets, beach and grocery store. I highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

Lots of stairs; carrying luggage up challenging.

Very good price-quality balance. In general, the apartments have all you need, including well equipped kitchen. In our case only the dishwasher did not operate properly and we had to wash dishes manually. Good pools, nice territory and location - just couple minutes walk from the main streets with restaurants and shops. Though the nearest beach is rather small and overcrowded, but we had a car rented and explored couple of other nice beaches. Definitely recommend for families.

Poorly operated dishwasher and cleaning could be improved.

It is a very convenience place and easy access to Carvoeiro downtown. It is only within 30 minutes drive to some famous beaches and only 12 minutes drive to Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos. The stay is spacious. The beds are comfortable.

We were disappointed with the ocean view. The room we had is not exactly ocean view and can't remember the room number. It is only a little bit because the most is hidden by the bushes. The best recommendation is to request second floor if book for ocean view. Beside that, I would like to thank Touna(receptionist) very much for her help to arrange of getting a room with an ocean view but no luck. She was very patient and willing to help.

Location and apartment facilities were great, but as detailed below there were a few things which could be improved.

It was difficult to get a sun bed (not enough for the number of apartments). Pools were lovely but needed some maintenance (missing tiles), We were in apartment for 6 days and there was no service (e.g change of towels, etc). The air-con in the apartment was only in living room and master bedroom, the 2nd bedroom had a fan but was super noisy so children could not sleep with it on so was very warm!!

Spacious apartment with a beautiful sea view. A relatively calm area and we could always find places at the pool. And most importantly for a place like Carvoeiro: available parking space. It is also quite close to the centre and the beach. Just coming back is a bit of a hike, especially in the sun.

Hygiene and equipment are average. I would have expected better for this price.
