The location was absolutely amazing,wouldn’t change a thing.So much to walk or drive to -car certainly not necessary though. Our apartment was exceptionally clean with lively sea views and was cleaned 5 days of our week-long stay. The staff are really lovely-very positive experience. Would definitely return.

It would be wonderful to have more of a heated pool at this time of year,would make a tremendous difference.The pool that was heated slightly was very small and the heating was subtle. The breakfast option on site is distinctly average.But you can work around this very easily.

A superb complex in a beautiful location. We were looking for a week in the sun somewhere relatively quiet and chose this place with a little searching. We were blown away by how amazing everything was. The apartment was spacious, spotless and had great facilities for self catering which is why we didn’t eat out much to keep the cost down! A real gem of a find. Amazing sunsets on the doorstep! We will definitely be back.

The Pillows were a little hard and uncomfortable - but I’ve seen in another persons review that this could have been rectified / swapped out had I asked at reception!

Beautiful spot in Carvoeiro. The resort was so peaceful and exceptionally clean. The gardeners were busy sweeping paths first thing in the morning and continually tidying the gardens. The pool area was clean and tidy with easy access to the onsite Bistro. The apartment was serviced daily, to a very high standard. Victoria, who looked after our apartment, was a gem. A short 10 minute taxi ride to the Intermarche was ideal for groceries for the week and very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend Algar Seco Parque resort for a self catering holiday.

We had a lovely relaxing stay here. It is in a great location and only a short walk to lots of great restaurants and cafe's. There is also a lovely boardwalk along the cliff with great views. We rented a car however you would not need one here as the location is so good. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was very spacious with a large balcony and superb views. The Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need and the bed was really comfortable. Carmo did a super job of cleaning our apartment too. The property is set in beautiful gardens which adds to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There is a lovely pool area too and there was never a problem getting a bed. Also towels for the pool are provided which is a nice touch. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and informative both prior to arrival and during our stay. We would highly recommend the Algar Seco Parque and we will definitely be returning.

Apartment was very clean and spacious. Pool area was so nice and over looked the sea. Our apartment had a lovely patio, also overlooking the sea. Kitchen was really well equipped. Staff were so helpful. You got the same cleaning lady everyday (accept their days off of course) and they left fresh flowers in a vase in the living area. The complex was so quiet at night so great for a good night's sleep but close enough to the towns main restuarants/bars etc- less than 10 minutes walk to beach but lots of nice restaurants less than 3 or 4 minutes walk.

The decor of the apartment is quite dated and the living room furniture is not the most relaxing to sit in. So we mainly sat outside on the patio in the evening (and this is lovely). I wanted to store my clothes in a chest of drawers in the bedroom and when I opened the drawers there was a very musty smell. There were a full set of wardrobes to use instead though so it was fine.

It's such a lovely place "on" the rocks at Algar Seco. It is perfect for us. We chose quiet accommodation within the complex. We had peace and tranquility but are close to bars, restaurants and amenities in central Carvoeiro.. Views are stunning. Staff are so welcoming. We are returning visitors. We like to run and swim so it is just the perfect package for us. Great attention to detail. Well serviced in terms of attention to detail, organisation and well equipped accommodation

The resort is beautiful with amazing views and spacious accommodation. All the pools are great, especially for small children. The bistro is excellent and very friendly. The town is a short walk away and everything feels close by.

We had a disappointing experience at the end of our stay where we were accused of breaking a stainless steel pot - this was definitely not the case, and it was disappointing in how it was dealt with by the staff, including speaking in Portugese in front of us and going back on what they agreed on. Other than this, the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Bruno and Magdelana, however this soured our experience. Also, guests should be aware there is no washing machine and the laundry service is only offered on weekdays which isn't made clear at booking - if you don't have a car to get to nearby laundrette, this makes it very difficult, especially if you have young children.

The property and surrounding gardens were beautiful and the bungalow we stayed in had a beautiful view over the pool area and out to the sea. The bungalow was really spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The site seemed very quiet and the pool area and bar were always quiet, with little atmosphere (so we went out to different beaches every day) but it was April so perhaps to be expected off season. Many people would love the peace and quiet! The only comment is the largest pool wasn’t the cleanest so we tended to use the square pool which was more inviting.

The resort is offering spectacular views of the sea. The well-maintained gardens and large outdoor pool area provide a relaxing environment. It’s just a short walk to the lively town of Carvoeiro, where you can find shops, restaurants, and a lovely beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Although there are some dining options available, the variety is limited compared to larger resorts. Breakfast is quite limited and you need a reservation. Bathroom in the room needs some renovations.

Algar Seco Parque main buildings, restaurant and Pool area are really good and we enjoyed the facilities as we had previously done in past visits. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and we appreciated their help when required.

This time we stayed at Algar Seco Os Peixes Bungalows which are approximately a 10 minute walk to get to the main Algar Seco location, we had not realised how far away we would be from the main complex and this would be our only comment.
