What can I say that I haven’t already said in previous reviews. It is hard to improve on perfection. If I could put forward one request to make this beautiful hotel even better, it would be to increase the offer in the superb Rivayat (Indian) restaurant. I know not everybody staying would eat there every evening, but I would. The food and presentation are wonderful but a couple or three main dishes more would keep me going most nights. Also, there are some good and quite exquisite Indian wines available which I’m sure would complement these creative dishes so well. I know this is a “1st world problem” but I have NOTHING else to suggest which would make this wonderful hotel better. As I have stated before it’s not just the location, (20 mins from city centre, 25 mins to the airport) or the magnificent grounds, the spacious and well-appointed pool rooms, (all 5* hotel have this!) more than all of that, it is the quality of the staff. It matters not what they do, its how they do it. And they do it so very well. From the always available management team (including Rohan the GM) right up to your ‘Housekeepers’ and your ‘Pool cleaners’ not forgetting the hotels chauffeurs, meet & greeters, concierge, (above and beyond) reception staff and last but by no means least the waiting staff. The politeness and professionalism are a credit to them, and the management team that trained them. So, thank you again for a truly relaxing stay (try the spa! OMG) I’m looking forward to seeing again in September.

Having to leave. This hotel is truly wonderful, as are the grounds and all the staff. If you are looking for a quite and relaxing stay with very good spa facilities and an out of this world Indian restaurant, chouse The Oberoi Marrakech, you wont go wrong.

Gorgeous new property in a scenic setting - close enough to the city to do activities BUT trust me when I saw you won’t want to leave once you get here. Comfortable rooms, fabulous spa, warm pools and the food was varied and fabulous.

"My stay at The Oberoi Marrakech was exceptional in every way. The staff were outstanding, always going above and beyond to make us feel at home. There wasn't a single request they didn't fulfill with care and attention. The spa was incredible, the olive garden was breathtaking, and the complimentary bikes made exploring the vast 190,000 sqm property with its 3,500 olive trees an unforgettable experience. Breakfast, which was included, offered a great variety and was a perfect start to the day. It's the ideal destination for couples looking for relaxation and serenity. Special thanks to Mr. Mamdouh, the Rooms Director, and his amazing team for their impeccable service. They even managed to prepare a dish that wasn’t on the menu! My husband and I had gone to celebrate his 70th Birthday we had booked a villa which was DIVINE they were so kind as we had the villa a little far out they changed it nearer due to his mobility problems from 411 - to 201, which was so much better. i can only rate The Oberoi from 100/100 from staff level from kindness from each and everything we wanted or needed, i was a little sick and they come running for all our needs i have to mention MR MAMDOUH MILAD THE MANAGER who dealt wih our needs impeccably jusy amazing and also have to mention the indian cook and the staff manager in the morning for breakfast he was too kind, anything we wanted to eat they made it possible. i literally have zero complaints about anythings, the serene envoirment is and was amazing just had a blast on our stay. Beautiful garden, very spacious, incredibly hospitable

There was no way to swim in the pool because it was always full with splashing and playing children. They should have a pool just for people who like to swim

Where to start? The Oberoi Marrakech is a wonderful property located on beautiful grounds to enjoy total bliss and relaxation. A true escape from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. From the moment we drove through the gates of the property, we knew this would be a trip we wouldn’t be forgetting any time soon. Mamdouh was waiting outside the property of the hotel to welcome us, along with other staff to collect our bags and swiftly whisk them away into our rooms whilst we enjoyed our welcome and tour of the hotel. I was gifted a bouquet of beautiful red roses which was a lovely surprise. As we entered we were greeted by lovely smiling staff who gave us cool scented towels and refreshments, whilst we were in awe by the grandeur of the hotel lobby. Each and every staff member are an absolute credit to the Oberoi, all are meticulously trained to meet your needs, no matter how big the request, and greet you with a smile. The staff at The Oberoi Marrakech are truly very humble and kind people whom we had the pleasure to meet and we will remember them all for the generous hospitality they all provided. The villa itself is fabulous, as we were on our honeymoon, we got upgraded to the villa with a private pool which was a lovely surprise. The hotel staff very kindly decorated our room with balloons, flowers, we received not one but two personal hand written cards, to congratulate us and giving their best wishes for our honeymoon. Shortly after settling into our room, we were sent complimentary drinks to enjoy by our pool. We even received a delicious personalised chocolate cake with written congratulations. The room itself is modern, beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings, large bed with comfortable bedding and pillows (they even have a selection of pillows you can request to be brung to your room). The room was equipped with a coffee machine, lovely selection of teas, and has a mini bar stocked with a brilliant selection of drinks.

Like many others have said in their reviews, leaving was the saddest part of our trip. We cannot wait to come back to The Oberoi Marrakesh in the future.

Everything about the hotel and its staff was amazing.

Nothing.

The hotel is absolutely magical. Its design is breathtaking, taking inspiration from the Ben Youssef Madrasa and Moroccan Palaces - truly spectacular. The staff are second to none. We've stayed in a lot of hotels, but for pretty much all the staff to know everyone by name, and offer such impeccable service is rare. Particular mention to Imad who looked after us for 2 nights in Rivayat the Indian restaurant and was lovely. He gave us a great recommendation for things to do in Marrakech and was brilliant at his job. Mamdouh, the acting GM while we stayed (Ronan was on a trip), was also brilliant - checking in regularly, asking for feedback etc. The room itself is amazing, totally immaculate and so comfy. The outdoor pool area is stunning. The food is incredible. We loved experiencing Iftar at the hotel, and the Indian Restaurant served the best Indian food we've ever eaten - it was delicious. Breakfast was also very well stocked, with an array of Moroccan, Western and Indian dishes - all of which were lovely. The grounds are equally beautiful, the views up to the hotel are like something from a movie. We would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about staying, it's out of this world.

Only two tiny areas for improvement, both of which are minor and take nothing from our amazing stay: 1) Spa Treatments - the massages were lovely, but at no point were we asked if we have allergies, or if we'd want any particular areas focused on. I came up in a mild rash to the oils used. 2) Pool Temperature - the temperature of the pool in our room was so cold we only managed to go in once. The weather wasn't super hot during our stay so I think it struggled to heat up. It definitely wasn't 25 as promised though, as we gauged the temperature each day with a thermometer and the highest it got to was 14.
